So much virus going around and malware and spyware, I think before a person watch a video we should have access to a
virus scanner to make sure the video is safe to watch.

I can see the safety and logic behind that maybe even FC putting one on their site to protect everyone! Great idea!

If you have a top notch anti virus system that helps too.... I try not to worry much about that stuff. I think most peoples computers have some kind of virus in them....its just how bad of a virus it is....thats my opinion.

I don't think any site will offer that. A virus scanner is pretty much useless when watching a video, unless it's a flash/java exploit or it redirects you to a unsafe site that host it. There are a lot of paid/free Antivirus and Antimalware software to use, which one will be the best and which one will they use? It's really up to the person behind the computer to really know and what steps to do when entering a GPT (or even the internet), like have a good anitvirus, antimalware, firewall, up-to date browser/system, security browser add-on, and antikeylogger. If a website scans it's video archive for any virus, malware, root-kit, exploits, etc, it will consume a lot of time and it will put a mistrust on the sponsors who run the videos.
I think that a safety rating (reputation) would be best, like a 0-5 rating that WOT does. People will rate if it's safe, mix, or a unsafe video and it will appear right next to the the link so people could be notified before going to the video link

i think they should catch all these people and arrest them, and make them pay whoever computer they ruined, maybe theyll think twice in the future

I've been watching videos on sites like FC for quite a while now and have never run into any problem as to need a scan for a virus or malware. Though it seems like a logical thing, most of the time it's pretty safe.
