Title: Samplicious
Post by: vjpruitt on September 06, 2012, 07:56:26 pm
Give me some pointers here!  I have tried and tried with this one and wow, it takes forever to go to the next question.  Is it just me or what?  It also states that if you get denied or something, if it has coins by it, you will still get credit for a penny and that has not happen either.  Had several surveys today that had coins by them, but did not get through any of them.  This last one was about cellular phones.  Thanks in advance. :BangHead: :dontknow:

I haven't had trouble with the slowness of sampilicious, but it is rare that I qualify for one, although, I do on occasion.  Regarding the penny for your efforts when you see the coins next to the survey, I have found I am usually credited the penny, but occasionally I am not.  I guess it is some sort of glitch.  Keep trying surveys, it's really nice when it works and it adds up.

Me too, when I was trying Simplicious be itself I never qualified, now with FC surveys I qualify sometimes.  Some other times like today i got paid for 2 or 3 of them but the ones with the penny for your efforts 99% of times I get paid, once in a while I do not but hey better someitmes than nver.  Good luck

They have their moments. It seems like about every 5 that I do for them I get accepted. Same questions to start out with,

I wonder how they determine if you qualify? Sometimes I try to answer what I think they want to hear just to see if I qualify. Nothing works ???

As for survey qualification, it's a complex issue:
1) Surveys are often routed through two or more survey systems, and they rarely share information: so you may have to "qualify" for a survey multiple times.
2) Surveys are typically targeted at one demographic "slice", for example "males in the midwest".  Once the quota of "males in the midwest" is full, you wont qualify anymore.  You may see other people being credited for the same survey, because they're in a different 'slice'.
3) Since your qualification depends on your demographics (which you can't control) different members have different experiences with surveys.  For some, who are among rarer demographics, they almost always click through, qualify and get credited.  For others, among more common demographics, they have more difficulties qualifying.

To belabor the restaurant metaphor, a survey provider might "order" 200 survey completions from "males in the midwest".  If we delivered them "females in new york" instead, they'd rightfully be dissatisfied; like getting fish 'n chips when you ordered a steak.  This is why taking surveys can be frustrating, inconsistent work.  If there was a way to improve it, we would, but you can't really tell a multi-billion dollar multinational research firm that their survey platform "needs to be fixed"...

Don't feel bad, I don't think you're alone.  I hate to tell you how many surveys I do and either get bumped right away, or even after a few minutes.  I know it's frustrating, all I can say is keep trying because when you do finish one and get approved it's a great feeling!!! :BangHead:

Samplicious is hit or miss, this is one of those surveys you have to keep plugging away at.  Rarely do I qualify for these.

The only problems I've had with this survey is the repeat questions and getting qualified but other than that no problems.  I just have to keep trying and I have noticed that when they have coins by them that they do give you 1 cent for trying it may just not show up right away.

I agree it's a hit and miss for me! Sometimes I pass the test, and others I don't. I don't have problems with the speed or anything though! But this post was made a couple of weeks ago and there might have been something going on with the site back then!

I haven't tried sampilicious as I usually complete the fc daily survey and survey head, but.. what do u guys think about it? is it worth a try? How long are the surveys?

Sampilicious seems to the worst of the survey companies.  Often answer pages of questions only to be disqualified.  SurveySavvy is great and have been approved with some others.  Usually avoid wasting time with sampilicious now.

I had some problems with this site today. It was slow, but that wasn't my problem. I spent WAY too much time trying to get "approved" for a survey. This time they kept asking me question after question and some were the same. I bet I answered the questions about age, gender race and how much money I made several times! It was like they were looping my questions. The thing is I never got a "sorry but you do not qualify for any surveys at this time" messages.  I also don't understand why they always ask you about what illness you have?  They also sometimes have very random questions that do not fit together.  I ended up giving up, so I have no clue if I would have been able actual do a survey or not.

It was really frustrating.

I have to agree with most of you. It seems I end up answering a lot of questions, then not qualified. Or it is slow. Once, in a while maybe I get through one. So I choose them only if it is 5 minutes, as that seems to run 20. So that is how I do it

oh this is great, after filling in my information, I got to a page that says this:

'Invalid URL

The URL http://www.google.com&fedResponseID=20fad2ec-5b2a-43f2-969c-09a02f563692 contains characters that are not valid in the location they are found.
The reason for the problem may be a mistyped URL, but the URL may also be an attempt to trick you into visiting a website which you might mistake for a site you trust.'

At least this time I was only into the survey a couple of minutes. Samplicio.us is one I won't do anymore unless I have too much time on my hands, lol, as if ever!

I know I kept trying and finally got credit for one.  It s like the daily sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.  I also find that it is slower on my laptom verses my desktop.  Hope this helped

I have found that if I just try everyday I qualify for more then I think when I look back.  I never remember the good ones just the ones I am not qualified for.
Just keep trying.

Yes, the not qualifying annoys me. I like fc daily survey and survey head, they seem to accept me the most.
