I am almost always hot unless I'm sick. Tonight it finally dropped low enough to give me a chill and I'm so happy cause I can finally cuddle up with my blanket and watch a movie with a cup of hot chocolate.
If in the right situation (not stranded in the woods for example), I would prefer being cold over being hot cause at least then I can just layer to warm up. What about you?

I think I would rather be cold then hot, I find that it is alot easier to warm myself up then to cool my self down :dontknow:

I like being cold than hot, it's easier to warm up than to cool down and stay cool.

I'm use to being in colder weather and I sweat easily in hotter weather. I prefer the cold overall with exception when I see the females bundled too.

I love the cold weather! You can just pile on clothes to keep warm.
When you're hot, there is only so much you can do to try and stay cool.

I always prefer cooler temperatures. 65 or below is good for me so I'm ready to celebrate the fact that we're headed toward autumn and some holidays.
If it's ridiculously cold I can also take a hot bath, drink something warm or climb under the covers.

being cold is not fun but hot or not I still wear a jacket because my old man keeps it really cold inside the house so I feel as if I am always cold. I come from the 115 degree weather so it doesn't bother me at all.

I would rather be cold. You can always put more clothes on but there is only so much you can take off.

I would much rather be cold because I can always add another layer to warm up. When I'm hot I can be completely naked and still be miserable.

I'd rather burn than freeze. I hate cold.

I agree with some of the other posts, meaning I would rather be cold than hot.

I'd rather be hot...closer to our body's natural temp of 98.6 degrees. It's generally easier to deal with than being freezing.

I'm not used to being in cold weather, so I would say be too hot.

I guess I find it easier to warm up than cool down,so I guess I would rather be cool.

I definitely would rather be cold! My body just doesn't do heat well at all, I get heat cramps really easily. I agree I love being able to snuggle under big blankets, watch a movie, read a book, have hot chocolate, or like now, I am under big cover have a heating pad on and working on earning money on fusion cash!!

I don't do cold weather any more, that is why I am now a Snow Bird! Getting ready to head south for the winter!

When I think cold I just think about slipping on ice and falling on my butt. Even though I'm a heat pump, I prefer the heat. The heat just cannot beat an airconditioner no matter how hard it tries... unless it's evil plot was to team up with electricity and raise my electric bill all along :dontknow: DAMN YOU HEAT! :BangHead:

As I get older I find that I don't tolerate heat as well as I used to. Besides, I love to snuggle up with a blanket, a nice cup of tea and a good book.

Or as I like to put it...
With the cold, you can always add more layers of clothes to get warm
But with the heat, there is only so much you can take off ;D
That's why I like the cold better too...

I get really moody if I get too warm. As my grandpa always said, you can add more clothes if you're cold, but if you're too hot you can only take off so much!

Id rather have the cold any day because you can only take off so many clothes before your naked, (for the heat) but can always keep adding on extra layers endlessly and fix the (cold) feeling very quickly.

I definitely prefer to be cold than hot any day. That being said, the extreme of either is not desirable either. Anywhere between 55-65 is perfect weather for me. :thumbsup:

I'm really surprised at the number of responses that prefer cold. That would be my choice as well - but I thought I was the only one!!!!!!!!! Now I don't feel so bad. The heat is so difficult - sweating and feeling light headed - sun burns and bugs - changing clothes several time a day - ----Give me cold any day and I will be happy ???

I prefer hot than cold. I can't deal with cold weather, I don't like wearing too many layers of clothing and heat carrying around jacket if I get hot.

I prefer the cold so I would personally rather be cold because if you get too cold you could always bundle up and warm up but it's harder to cool down when you get too hot.

I'd rather be cold than hot. I can warm myself up better than I can cool myself down. I like sleeping under heavy blankets and hot baths.

I would have to say COLD! You can always put MORE on, but when you're hot, you can only take SO MUCH off!!!

I would rather it be in between but I had to pick warm weather. I dont like driving in snow or ice.

I had rather be cool. I don't like it hot. Hot flashes don't help either.

I am in between both the hot and cold. I love the cold with the sun, without the snow or the snowstorm. I love the summer time but not the heatwave. I love the end of summer. The Fall period seems like what I love the most.

I am not a fan of either extreme as I like cool balmy weather, but if I had to absolutely pick I'd rather be cold. I am MISERABLE when I get hot and sweaty. Recently we were without our air conditioning and for weeks the house was very hot and humid. I'd have rather been cold and bundled up with my blanket than been that hot. At least as others have said you can put layers on, but in hot weather it's even more difficult for me to get comfortable.

I completely agree. I'd rather be in cold weather than in hot.
You can only do so much to cool off (without A/C) but you can always add more clothes, blankets, or drink hot chocolate to warm up.

I agree with you: You can always warm up one way or another. Heat is terrible because it can make you sick... very sick! If caught outdoors, look for shady areas or for watery areas.

I would rather not be hot or cold I like medium.

Well, I like it somewhere in the middle. I hate the freezing cold, you know, the kind of cold that goes right through you. I cannot stand the extreme hot because it drains me of all my energy. But at least there is A/C.

I prefer heat, I like being outside and hopefully by a pool or the beach

I am more comfortable when it is cool. I can not sleep in a hot room. I turn the AC up at night, I like a blanket on me and I feel better. I do not like winter cold. I work at Walmart so in the day time the heat or cold don't bother me. Before I retired from my job 9 years ago, I worked in factory and it was always hotter inside than out side in summer time. One year I had a heat stroke and it took me along time to get over it. Hope everyone has a great weekend and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I cannot stand to be cold, you can always cool down if you are hot. Just walk into an air conditioner place and bang you are cool, but when you are COLD it takes a moment to warm up, cold hands, cold feet......um.... give me the heat any day.

I always say that I "run hot" because I always tend to feel warm. For me, a good room temperature is more like 60-65 than 70. I like it cold.

I don't like being either but I think if you are cold you can at least layer until you are warm. if you're hot you can't cool off fast enough or taking clothing off doesn't always help.

I rather be cold than hot. My body temp is always low for some reason when I check it it's like 97.6.

Yesterday was 106 and today was 104. I'm sick of the heat. I'm ready for cooler weather.
