I just love the fall! I love going to the apple orchard, high school football games, campfires. What are your favorite things to do!?

They have alot of events in the fall in Virginia. I try to do some wine testing and buying in the local wineries, go to the octoberfest and my american legion has a crabfest that I love to go to. I also like to take a day trip to the shenandoah area, it is beautiful in the fall.

Fall is my favourite time to bake, try new recipes or some standards.

Well its almost fall, next week will be the first official day.
I like to be outside in the fall and look at the leaves. I like going to Amish country in the fall, its really pretty. Craft shows are fun in the fall, and going to haunted houses around Halloween.

Love using the fire pit...love visiting the vineyards...and I love Halloween :heart:

Going camping and fishing before it gets too cold. Hoping to do so this weekend.......YAY! :thumbsup:

I'm not into fall/winter. Spring/summer is the best. I don't like wearing heavy clothes or being cold. I guess if I had to pick something though, it would be seeing the fall foliage. Very pretty.

Canning up home made apple cider and apple sauce-- after we pick the apples ourselves. Roasting marshmallows over a bonfire. Breaking out the spinning wheel for the long winter nights, turning under the fields, putting the farm to bed for the winter. I hate the wet and the cold, but being a night person I love the long winter nights here in Washington. We just slaughtered the first of the roasting chickens this past weekend, and here in a month or so, after the "fattening" month, the others will be safely in the freezer :).

i bake and sell homemade pies every year. my kids look foward to it. and its all from scratch no canned junk. i'm old school and its so worth it. ;D

It's State Fair and Balloon Fiesta time. Then theirs pumpkins. Love pumpkin. Time to put up some fresh puree and make Three Bean, Pumpkin and Chorizo Stew. Yum. The cool weather is welcome after our long hot summer.

Fall means kids back in school and football starts season starts.

The only fall activity I have now in high school football My young nephew in marching band besides I like football.

The county I live in is one of few that have their county fair in the fall, so thats always fun, also apple picking at the orchards, 4 wheeling, bonfires, and driving to look at the pretty leaves changing colors, watching the bald eagles.

I love watching football, going through pumpkin patches, and going to the state fair.

I love Fall. Fall is my favorite time of year. I love going to football games. I enjoy going to the county fair. Fall is also a wonderful time to take road trips.

I love the fall!! I'm going to try to go Ziplining through the pretty trees this year!!

Fall usually comes late in October and the weather here in Florida becomes cooler. We like to build a little fire in our pit and enjoy the cool evening.

I can't wait to go apple picking in a few weeks and I love baking in the cooler weather. Going for a nice walk at night when it's cooler out is so wonderful, I need to do more of that this year!

I love campfires, corn mazes, and decorating for fall! I also love it when my family rides to the Mountain area in our state to look at the leaves as they change colors!!

i love when it starts getting cooler because that means
i can start cooking chilli, soup+grilled cheeses, etc.
(i rarely crave those things through the summer, due to
the weather of course)... and i usually clothes shop a lot
in the fall, racking up some good deals on summer clothes
and finding pretty sweaters and scarves for the winter
ahead.
and apple cider! i love when i start seeing it in the grocery
store. and decorating for fall/halloween too. i have my all-season
stuff out during the summer, but i put it away and bring out
the GOOD stuff in the fall ;D

I love to make apple crisp and apple pie and going on hayrides in the fall .

Ahhh the smells of fall, I love baking all those favorite recipes my mom and grandma used to bake. Pumpkin Breads, Pumpkin Pies, you name it, and Persimmon bread too.

Well, fall activities. It means it is getting colder outside so I like sending more time in the bedroom. LOL. I like the fall because it is cooler. I just hate that it gets darker earlier.

Oh, so many things! Warrens Cranberry Festival, bonfires, chili, NFL and college football (my Packers especially!), poker nights having potluck & poker with friends, the changing colors of the leaves. The thing I don't like about fall is that it is almost time to park my Mustang for the winter :'( I miss driving it and can't wait for April (in 2012 it was in March though!) to bring it out again.

My favorite things to do are to walk/hike (though I don't get to do so too often) and go to check out waterfalls. Nature is really beautiful this time of year.

Our community has a chilli cook off and auction in the fall. That is my favorite.

The wonderful activities me and my son can do with beatiful color of leaves. The weather seems so enjoyable and a great day of a BBQ without the big heat or great winds. I would be able to enjoy me and my son yearly nature walk with the enjoyment of seeing so many things that happen or occur during the fall and also seeing the local animals change their behavior and get ready for the next season. Mostly Birds is our enjoyment of watching how they react or interact with each other or their surroundings. :peace: :heart: :star: :) ;)

We do trick or treating. I also love the fall because that is when you can really whip out the hot cocoa and snuggle in the blanket.
