i get on here check emails play a game to fusion cash stuff for a while and hopefully i finally get tired so i can go to sleep

I get on the computer and start my day! I can's seem to get any more then 6-7 hours of sleep a night.

I have a sister in law, when she cannot sleep, gets up and starts to do house chores, like cleaning, washing etc. I personally gets online and starts surfing until I feel very sleepy, then I return to bed, and sleep.

I read or go online and that usually helps me to fall asleep.

I either surf online, watch tv, or put in a dvd out of my collection and usually that will get me sleepy.

You should still lie there and "rest" even if you can't fall asleep. You'll be feeling it later on if you don't!

I turn the TV on, get on any channel that seems interesting, then sit in the PC, and have the TV on the background, if something catches my eye, I can take a quick glance at the TV, and then continue at the PC, I can do so many things, when I'm at the PC, from FusionCash, to playing video games, to watch movies, episodes of TV shows, etc. I can even do some article reading, research something, do some online shopping, or practice my programming. Possibilities are endless when I can't sleep and I'm at the PC :D

I get on my laptop and play around online or watch some netflix usally that relaxes me enough that i can fall asleep :peace:

I am not able to sleep and stay asleep so I have turned to tylenol pm. It kills the muscle pains and helps me sleep.

I listen to my iPod (which ends up keeping me awake!) or surf the internet on clothing & shoe sites until I feel like I'm going to fall asleep.

try sleeping pills or natural teas. they seem to help people but some people get addicted to them so be careful.

I usually get on the computer when I can't fall back to sleep, but if I really want to go back to sleep I start reading a book and it works every time.

I watch TV, that always work.

At 2AM EST, if I am still up I get off the computer and watch some (a few minutes) TV. Then a cup of Sleepy Time tea, makes me ready for bed. With or without the radio I am off to sleep in no time. Most days I just get in bed a fall fast asleep.

I grab my phone and cruise the internet or play Words w/Friends when I can't sleep. Or, I go pee ;) Since being pregnant, it seems like I always need to pee, so if I'm awake I might as well get it out of the way lol.

I've been suffering from insomnia for as long as I can remember....even if I do fall asleep (which is usually a miracle), I wake up about an hour later...wide awake! I usually check my emails on the pc or get on with some art work, like painting or drawing. Most mornings I see the sun come up and the birds start to chirp. Unfortunately, by about 11am I am so dog-tired, I could drop down in a heap! I am going to try the Tylenol PM as a previous member suggested.

When I can't sleep I will usually get online, maybe play a game or watch a movie if there is anything that catches my eye on TV. I really like to read so usually I'll read some news articles and tire my eyeballs until I get tired enough to sleep :)

I either get on the computer and surf the net. Or I will watch alot of girly movies that my husband hates.

I will either watch tv or get on my laptop, or just listen to music until I can fall back to sleep. And if I can't do that I will get on up and start getting ready for the day (depends on what time it is in the morning).

I usually take calcium supplements and drink some milk. Then I do what I do on my computer or I read a good book. Sometimes I'm in the mood to clean at night.

I usally get up and get on puter or watch TV. I use to sew when my kids were little but the material has gotten so high you can't afford to buy it. You can catch clothes on sale and that is cheaper than making it your self. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I will generally try to watch TV cause normally that will put me to sleep. If not I will just get up and do something. Play video games, go online, clean, etc. It really depends on what I feel like doing. For some reason I always want to clean when I should go to sleep.

Iwill just read a book and when i get sleepy i can just reach over and turn off the lamp.

I am a chronic insomniac. Didn't sleep for years, unless you count 3 hrs a night as sleep. I call that a nap. LOL. So years ago I started taking prescription sleeping pills. Started with Ambien and when they didn't keep me asleep, I went on Tamazepam. They have been a lifesaver for me. I get 7-8 hrs. a night, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. But I wake up feeling good, and have energy to get things done. I'll be a lifer on these pills. :peace:

I read a book that i wouldn't usually read. Usually puts me to sleep faster than if i were to watch television or use the computer.

Staying up at night using the internet actually does not help me get to sleep. It would keep me awake. I have to wrench myself away from the computer. I can instantly fall asleep in bed within 5 minutes under the dark. I rarely suffer from insomnia.

I like to read or play on my iPhone if I can't sleep.
The other night I was playing a game on my phone and almost fell asleep halfway through.

I rub my husbands back till I get sleepy. He loves to be rubbed even when he is a sleep. Sometimes it leads to other things... and that's always a fun way to get tired. :thumbsup:

If I can't sleep I'll read, soon I'm dropping my book. If my mind won't shut down I'll take a dose of Bach Flower Remedy white
oak chestnut. If all else fails I'll take chamomile (either tea or tablet), twenty minutes later I'm relaxed enough to get a good sleep. :peace:

I like to drink something hot to put me to sleep.

I take some melatonin and head back to bed. Usually I can get back to sleep if not I might get on the computer for awhile until it kicks in.

I like to have a book I am reading so I can read when I can't sleep. I have started my work day at the computer and then go back to bed when I have finished a project.

If I can't go to sleep, I will turn the TV on and watch it, or else I will play some xbox or something until I get tired. Recently I have been working long hours at work so I come home ready to pass out!

I haven't had an issue sleeping lately, but I use to read a book, go online and drink warm milk. I use to kiddingly say I wish I had recorded some of my old class lessons as they use to put me to sleep.

Quite honestly, I brood and get frustrated as to why I can't sleep, but I've read alot of articles online stating that you should just do an activity and not think about, let nature run it's course, and when you're tired you'll go to sleep.
