Would you rather shop in the store or shop online?

I prefer to shop online, but this year i have a feeling there will be a lot of last minute things as i am NOWHERE even close to starting let alone finishing LOL Last year i had everything done by thanksgiving and most of that was done online walmart and kmart =)

I prefer in store. But I am starting to do more shopping on line.

I like both...
In-store for clothes, online for...well...about everything else.

I really like to get out there and do holiday shopping. The crowds do not bother me at all, actually I think it adds to the feel of the season. I just feel more like I know what I am getting when I shop in a physical brick-and-mortar location and fear return policy and lack of time when shopping online.

I like both, but at Christmas I do alot of on line shopping. I hate crowds!

I like to shop online for things that I don't have to try on. If it's clothes then I much prefer to buy in stores.

I love to take a day of from work and shop at a mall til my feet fall off LOL. My mom and me make it a tradition we get there at 8 am and sometimes come back home at 9 pm, I love to see and feel what I am buying besides you sometimes get cheaper the same thing and a different store. But this year i will be in bed with a surgery I have to have and will not be able to walk let alone drive anywhere for a long while, so most of my shopping will have to be online, and I will give cash to my girls this year instead of the dozen presents under the tree.

It all depends what I'm looking for.
Clothes for myself example, I'm better off going into the store to try things on (I'm plus size and it gets tricky), but I don't usually like the plus size styles they carry in nearby stores. So I'd rather online if I can.
Christmas shopping for example, is much easier online. I'm from Quebec, and some things are just impossible to find in english in a store.
Books I usually order online from our favorite store. They don't always have them in stock in store, and I don't always have time to go downtown and check.

I don't like to whine, but, being disabled, going to the store is a bother and I like my old clothes (that do not look old) and I shop online for whatever I can and it is delivered to me at my door!

I hate the crowds, but I still go to the store. Preferrably Wal-Mart late at night when there are less people. I like being able to see and handle the actual merchandise. Perhaps trying on clothes or testing such goods as electronics.

I hate to go shopping, so I buy almost everything on line or in small stores.

I prefer to shop online for the most part. I do not have to drive and fight the traffic,hunt for a parking place or deal with rude sales help.
I still prefer to go to a brick and mortar store for clothes and food.

i like going to the store to see the product, but i also like shopping online on some stuff. right now they have lot of good deals for the holiday.

I like to look around on line and then go to the actual store. I like to see what I am actually getting.

I prefer to shop in store. I like to see what I am buying!!I also like to shop in store because the little "brick and mortor" operations are hurting in this economy, not all have internet presence and are hurting because of the trend to shop online. I normally use the internet for printer Cartridges and things of that sort because you may have to travel to 3 or 4 stores to find the brand you are looking for.

I would have to say hands down online!!! After all who wants to deal with the crowded stores, long lines and oh, yeah, that awful parking lot where you drive round and round to try to get a parking spot and then when you do it's umpteen miles away from the store or mall exits!!!!! The only way I would shop in the store is if I worked there!!!!!

I agree with that statement too. I enjoy shopping online and like to avoid the crowds and issues that can happen with in store purchases. I haven't had many problems, but sometimes I prefer store shopping too so that you don't have to deal with some sellers online return hassle.

If I need something or see something I want I buy in store - however there are some places I ordered from I get good sales but most time I just call and ordered that way.

I like to shop for the most part, just don't like the crows. So i either make it or order it online. Besides in order to do any serious shopping we have to drive between 80 miles to 167 miles. So it makes for a very long day driving over and comming back in 1 day. We are used to it, but it is long.

this time of year always online I can hardly tolerate the stores durning school shopping days let alone the holidays :'(

I dont like to use a credit card online so definately in store for me.

I also don't particularly like to use a credit card online. Also I like getting out the house and going somewhere to browse around a bit and then shop for want I want or may need.

i do both because you just can't get everything in the store.

I prefer going to the store. the reason for this is because I like comparing prices and looking or trying out products.

Honestly I would buy everything online if I could - I hate shopping - I am disabled and I wear out really fast and I don't care anything about going into a crowded store or trying on clothes etc - Ewwww I just hate it. I go grocery shopping because it is a necessary evil so to speak but anything else I can buy online I do. 8)

It depends on what I'm shopping for. Some things I want to look at in person first before buying. Other things, that doesn't matter for quite as much.

It's a toss up. Convience of home shopping but yet worried about computer hackers getting personal info

I like to shop in stores, but I really can't stand crowds anymore. I find myself shopping online more and more. Between the convience and sites that I can earn rewards for online shopping, online is becoming my favorite way to shop.
