Post by: bigedshult on November 17, 2012, 02:54:13 pm
I personally love you go horseback riding although I haven't got a good cold time but every time I get to do it I love it! It's fun and it's a good recreation good healthy activity. So how many of you out there have horses that you like to ride and get a ride I live in a town so I don't have all whores myself and what is have you ever use your horse to horse is on a trail ride up in the mountains in the wilderness areas. That will sound I live in Oregon and how likely fun to ride a horse in the some of the wilderness trail areas and enjoy the nature of horseback camp but that's something that I will never probably alluded because it cost so much money

I loved riding and traing horses in my younger days. Nothing like just getting away from all the burdens of life and just ride and feel at home with nature. I so enjoyed my last trip up into the mountains. We were there for a week. I miss it. But old age has caught up with me and my back won't handle the long hard rie. So all i can do now is car trips up as far as allowed.

I WOULD LOVE TO GO HORSE BACK RIDING BECAUSE I THINK IT WOULD BE A GREAT ADVENTURE. GO WITH THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE AND JUST SHARE GOOD TIMES TOGETHER. TALK ABOUT THE GOOD OLD DAYS.

I love horse back riding, there is nothing better than to feel the wind in your hair and the freedom of riding.

I haven't been able to ride horses in way, way, WAY too long!! Oh how I wish I could every day. Some day, I hope to have a couple of my own too. The last time I rode, was on a beach.

I have a horse, but I haven't taken him on a trail ride in any type of wilderness yet. I'm not advanced enough as a rider, and he's not reliable enough, but we're getting there. I'm hoping to train him for competitive trail riding just for the fun of it.

For anyone interested in doing some fun wilderness riding, try looking for horseback riding camps. Although week-long trips can cost several thousand dollars, a fair number of them offer weekend deals for fairly reasonable prices. For the cost, many of them include not only a room and scheduled rides but often some of the meals (during the ride). The best part is you get all the fun of riding a reliable, friendly horse without the hours and hours of training. I've seen ads for different camps all over the country. Try searching for equine or equestrian in addition to horse, as many camps also cater to people who own their own horses, and those 2 words are more likely to be searched for by people who lovingly consider themselves a part of the horse industry. People who enjoy the company of horses usually love to bring more people into our world.  :)

When I would go and visit my Family in Arizona we always go horseback riding. For some reason I am afraid of horses but I am not afraid enough to not ride them to overcome my fear. :dontknow:

I've only ridden on a horse once. It wasn't bad. But I prefer to not be on a horse. I'll stick to feeding and petting them.
