I plan to just eat the leftovers ... I missed thanksgiving because I worked but had a platter made for me.

Can't wait to dig in.

My mom used to make turkey stew, turkey soup, turkey sandwiches...  When we got turkey and it was just the four of us at home, we were set for weeks and sick of turkey by the end of it.

I thought we would have more leftovers than we ended up with this year. We've already made Turkey Cranberry Wreath (A Pampered chef recipe) We're going to be making a 3 cheese pizza with turkey on it instead of ham...and turkey tettrazini...we're going to freeze what we haven't eaten up to this point tonight and use the left overs for the tetrazini and pizza at a later time.

I didn't bake a turkey yet this year. But my dad step grandson sent he and his mother a turkey dinner already cooked.  So today i had to go ut and finish carving it up and putting most of it in the freezer. It was a big turkey, then brought the rest home to cook up for soups and stews. Usualy make about 4 different things with part of the turkey and the rest they like in sandwichs.  She is handicapped and right now he is havng to use a walker. Sure hope we can get him back on his feet soon. He gets grouchy when laid up.

Usually a turkey sandwich hits the spot.  Or just warm it up for an extra Thanksgiving dinner a few days later.  I wish there were as much leftover pumpkin pie as there is turkey. hahaha

Whenever I go to families Thanksgiving dinners, I take a whole bunch of to go! They always insist that I take a whole bunch because they need to get rid of it as well. There is so much food during Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for all of that delicious food. The to gos I get sometimes last a whole week. It still tastes great too.

I love turkey sandwiches as long as I can coat one side bread with cranberry sauce. I also like hot turkey sandwiches like we had for dinner tonight. Then when it's down to nothing but bones, it goes in a big post of noodles for soup.

We love leftover turkey but I didn't cook this year!  So I fixed a turkey a few weeks ago and froze some of it.  Then we could have leftover turkey sandwiches this weekend.  I can usually fix a whole meal of leftovers and also have sandwiches on rolls with mayo and cheese.  Yum!

I usually make Turkey noodle soup. Just use turkey in place of chicken when making an usual chicken noodle soup. I also use the left over turkey for turkey sandwiches and turkey salad, using left over stuffing and mixing the turkey together with it with a can of corn or green beans. Makes a nice casserole dish. Using left over turkey for other nightly dinners throughout the week also saves me money on my grocery shopping, so I am happy!  ;)

I like to make some turkey sandwiches with it, preferably several mini sandwhiches on left over rolls! You can it eat it cold or heat it up with some gravy. This also works good with leftover ham..
