Rudolph the shiny gun cowboy
Had a very gun
And if you ever saw it
You would turn around and run
All of the other cowboys
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor rudolph
Join in any cowboy games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
Rudolph with your gun so bright
Won't you shoot my wife tonight
Then all the cowboys loved him
And they shouted out with glee
Mess with Rudolph the shiny gun cowboy
You'll be hanging by a tree! ;)

I do not have a favorite but have many favorites. "Do they know it's Christmas" is one of them as well as "Santa Claus is coming to town" by Bruce Springsteen.
I also like "Wonderful Christmastime " by Paul McCaurtney
Along a more Classical line, O Holy Night and the Hallelujah Chorus

WOW, THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD CHRISTMAS DONGS AND ALL DONE BY SO MANY DIFFERENT ARTISTS. I WOULD HAVE TO STICK WITH THE TRADITIONAL 'RUDOLPE THE RED NOSE REINDEER'. CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THAT ONE.

The old standard "Joy to the World"
Maybe a few of you would find it's lyrics pertinent to today's events in CT:
No more let sins and sorrows grow
Or thorns infest the ground
He comes to make his blessings flow
Far as the curse is found...
