Do you go out party and wait for midnight? Watch fireworks? Light fireworks or just stay home and sleep? I normally stay home and wait for midnight and watch my neighbor light up some fireworks.

We used to go out every year, and do something. But know we might just go out for supper, and have a few
drinks when we get home! We try to make it until 12 am.

We are going out for dinner and a few drinks. My husband has to work New Years Eve so i doubt we will be staying up late.

In my older and mommy stage of life, I am normally in bed long before the ball drop. If my husband is still awake at midnight, he'll wake me up and give me a kiss and back to bed it is.

My husband and I usually go to local friends parties for several reasons. Fewer drivers on the road where we live in the country and not as far to drive. We definitely like to toast in the New Year, but this year I am on medication that prevents me from drinking, but still plan to have a toast at midnight wherever I am. We always like to watch the ball drop in Time Square, too. Weather also dictates our party plans. Don't like to drive in rain or snow on New Year's Eve. One year we drive to a freinds in the country and it had snowed for a few hours and it took us 12 times to get up a hill! No repeat on that one!

I hope that I will be able to visit my Aunty P, and have a good dinner, watch the count down on television, and ring in the new year 2013 with lots of hope for a great year, with good health also.

My family, relatives and friends get together until the new year hits.

Most years I spend NYE alone. I have my tradition of getting a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice to toast the new year at midnight. I'll watch the ball drop in New York City, watch some NYE related movies. Then after midnight I'll change all my calendars...then go to bed.
Sometimes some local friends and I will catch a movie earlier in the evening (or maybe the later show). That's a bit hit and miss.
For a while out of college, I used to go to an annual ballroom dance in town which was awesome. Everyone dressed up and danced the night away and toasted the new year. The dance would end at 12:30am and we'd all go home. Was fun while it lasted. Not sure if that is still held anymore.

I like watching the ball drop in New York City, so on some New year's eves I would stay up and watch that. However on some New Year's eves when we able we went the church watch night service and it usually wasn't dismissed until at least an hour after midnight in hopes that some of the shooting would be over.

Last year, my band played a metal show. Our set started as soon as it was new year and everyone was making noise. Start the year out with METAL! :peace:

Spend time with my family. I want to go out and party but i'm 9 months pregnant guess it's just family time. Maybe next year.
-

I GO TO CHURCH

Most of the time we stay home/we have gone out in the past but not in the last few years
-
We have friends over for a potluck and then play poker til the wee hours of the morning (with a break at midnight to toast the new year!).

I usually have to work until at least 8. We always attempt to make plans, but usually by the time I get home from work I just want to sit down. Maybe we'll just watch the ball drop at home or maybe I'll be asleep before that gets around to happening... We shall see I guess. Maybe we will go to my parents and play cards for a while....
-
Hopefully stay awake until midnight. Usually I don't make it and the kids have to wake me up at 11:30.

Well last year will be the same as this year I am sure. I have a two year old son so me and the hubby don't do much.
We sit around the house, my son is normally in bed before the ball drops and me and my husband will probably drink a little not much (We aren't drinkers AT ALL!) and we will watch the ball drop then if not already go to sleep!!
