Title: NEW PETS.......
Post by: koderz006 on April 30, 2009, 08:00:15 pm: Me and My fiance just got two baby hairless rats. i never owned a rat before, but they are adorable and very loving. i never would of thought that. they dont bite either like guinea pigs,hamsters or mice.

anyone like rats or ever own one???

Post by: aspenl on April 30, 2009, 08:29:56 pm: I rent and we're not allowed to have pets but yesterday we went to the pet store and got my little girl her first pet...a fish. Not my personal favorite but better then not having any pets at all.

Post by: MrPKitty on May 01, 2009, 09:45:27 am: Rats are very nosey, they want to wander around and check things out. They chew threw cords in minutes, all those very expensive cords you need for your cable, satellite, home entertainment system, gaming system,etc. all gone just like that.

Duct tape al your cords down, or to the wall, or anything flat and check them often if you ever let the rats run free or if they just get out on their own. They also kinda poo as they go, so there might be a lot of vacuuming going on.

Don't consider getting a snake or hopefully there isn't one near because they can smell rats from afar. Just a thought.

what? rats no. cats are the way to go, I love my cat she's loyal to me and the best companion ever.

Post by: joesgirl2008 on May 02, 2009, 11:35:26 pm: I have never owned a rat but a friend of mine had one and i loved him, he was so sweet he would just curl up in your lap and sleep all the time maybe when my daughter gets older i will get her a pet rat. although not for sure if my husband will go for it lol
