Title: Wondering if FC could offer what PeopleString no longer does...
Post by: SherylsShado on January 19, 2013, 02:34:20 am
PeopleString is gone and what I miss is their main page that offered a way for people to keep the websites that they visited frequently organized and how one could go to FaceBook, their e-mail accounts, etc. at the click of a button.  They offered the BEST "main page" for one when logging in to computer everyday.  If FC could somehow offer a duplication/imitation of this, I think it would help draw in alot of new members because there's alot of people now with no good home page.  What do you think?? :dontknow:

I miss peoplestring as a homepage too. It was great to be connected to faceboook and more. I would love FC to be able to have homepage like that . Not sure if they could or would even consider it. :peace:

I was a member of PeopleString. But I think FusionCash is original and should remain that way. I like it the way it is actually. Whats wrong with using your browsers bookmarks.

I'm  not sure if this will help as I'm trying to properly understand your question. Are you saying you want to make fusioncash your homepage? Whenever I want to make a page my homepage I just go into the options/preferences area and change it there. For instance in internet explorer you can go to tools internet options and change your homepage there. I'm sorry if this doesn't answer your question properly. But if you mean how to make fusioncash your homepage then that is how that could be done if you'd like.  :)

I understand you point of the homepage.  However, I guess my mouth is bitter with the taste of that company that never paid when I did my first cashout, never responded to support ticket requests,  and then of course eventually closed and had no contact whatsoever . . . blah blah blah  Wouldn't copy any thing they did when they failed so miserably and not even an apology, goodbye, kiss my app, nothing . . . just shut down - link doesn't work.

Fusion Cash makes you feel like a person and in this together to success for all etc.  Though site may not look the most exciting to some -- guess what -- "it works"!!!  I have had my feel of pretty sites and fancy looks but the site doesn't work or is so slow or you get lost, etc.  A reliable working successful site is better than all their pretty colors and shine -- even HSN recently updated their site.  I have had more problems ordering from them.  I don't shop there much but for items I have been shopping/pricing/investigating and they do a good job with offers and I enjoyed the ease of ordering and using the computer.  I order online etc.  Since their new site went up I have cancelled 4 or more orders and chatted online with customer service 4 or so times and talked to customer service on the phone 3 or more times.  That is just since the launch this year of the new site!! I only had one customer service call in ALL of last year (January first order placed to December last order placed) and I never needed a chat -- with maybe 12 orders!   And today is only the 23rd of January!  More problems in a couple of weeks -- they are losing a reason why I shopped with them . . . and deliveries this year shipping out has been questionable . . . more new systems probably a part of the new website ordering . . .  And JCP has fancy new site . . . they have almost lost me as a customer and I am actively looking for a place to respond.  With a website like theirs - order and you get your email confirmming and then the website has never seen you before -- try to track or check order they say you have noorder etc  I could go on.   Fusion Cash computer sites work pretty flawlessly.  We have a few issues occasionally with videos crediting -- I don't know how much of that is really Fuison Cash fault and not the sponsers site . . . I guess I have concerns over something in the internet that is working so well . . . is it worth getting into glitzy looks that too many sites don't work so well . . . just my two cents worth.

You should look at ProtoPage

I just checked it out.  Great news feed options and mobile option too.  Great suggestion.   Thanks!  I had dumped home pages for just a google search page.  Going to try this one.

PeopleString had a page that made for the ultimate "homepage".  When one logged on their computer and the "homepage" popped up, on the left bottom corner was a box where one could add the links to any sites that they frequently visit, just click the link and you're there...
On the right upper side, there was a box with icons for emails.  Most people that work on-line have a number of e-mail accounts to check on a daily basis.  One could click "AOL", "Yahoo", etc to go right to their email accounts.
Under the email box was a box for the social sites, simply click the FaceBook icon, Twitter icon etc. and keep up-to-date there.
Their homepage offered alot more but those were the ones I used the most.  For people that do alot of work on-line, it was a nice way to keep all the links to sites that are visited on a daily basis in one place.  It had the email accounts and social sites organized so it was easy to stay on top of it all and not forget to post in a blog or check an email.
Staying organized is a time-saver, I miss the time that the PeopleString site saved me.  I wasn't suggesting that FC duplicate PeopleString in any way except for their handy homepage because I never liked anything else about PeopleString.
PeopleString  ran "ads" on that homepage that made them money.  I would think that for FC to have an easy-to-use home page like PeopleString's that saved people time (people that are working on-line on the ptc sites especially) would be a "win-win" for FC.   ;)

Thanks.  I looked at it (Protopage) and it's somewhat overwhelming and not as convenient as the homepage that PeopleString offered.  I think if I have to figure all that out (Protopage), I'll have ALOT less time to spend on FC.

Hopefully you don't mind me asking but I was wondering why you would prefer "ProtoPage" homepage over a more organized/convenient "PeopleString style" homepage offered from FC,  the site everyone loves spending so much time on anyway...?

I think something like that would offer FC ALOT of potential and would be a huge success for them, but again...I would want FC to stay "FC" and not duplicate anything else (except a similiar homepage) PeopleString was offering because they were awful.

I had PeopleString from start to finish (I was one of the people that actually made money from it) and I think ProtoPage is even easier to setup and a LOT more flexible.

People String was one of those "you had to get in early" kind of programs, or you had
to be a referring Master/Warrior like Sir. Warren to be able to make it work. But most
people online can't refer others as well. I myself have tried to help others learn how just
like I know my friend Old Buddy does - but some people just can't be taught I guess....

:dontknow:  which is why I show them how to turn this free money into more w/o having to refer anybody

Back to them main post -- It would be nice if FC did something like the homepage effect

I personally thought the PeopleString homepage was rather cluttered up. But then I like a simple home page. I use bing, because they have nice pictures that change each day, and you can even download some of them. Plus with the bing toolbar, you can access your emails and Facebook, and other stuff as well. The toolbar is unobtrusive, and doesn't clutter up the screen.

I'm not sure exactly when they stopped operating or if they gave their members any indication, all I know was I was using their homepage one day and then my computer broke.  I was without a computer (and without time to use one) for a few months.  As soon as I got a new computer and went to set PeopleString as the home page---it was gone.  Interesting what you posted about the hacker genius, I hadn't heard about that or why exactly PeopleString ended.  They seemed to be doing well, it was quite a surprise to find them gone. :(

I havent heard of peoplestring, from the sounds of it Im glad! Ive tried alot of sites like fusion cash. This is the only one that doesn't take you forever to earn money and it actually works. Im still new to this and just cashing out. Ive read so many people saying how the have cashed out alot of times. I also think the banner you can post of these forums are very helpful. Especially to someone like me,  who is new. That way we know its real and people continue to complete offers. Not much to complain about. Just wish you could complete more on mobile devices

Be patient, Mobile Devices are the wave of the future and time will tell if they get accepted here later on. They actually outsold computers last year, so they are taking over. There is a lot of money to be made with them already.

I still miss the PeopleString homepage.  It was the most convenient organizer.  The whole left side of my screen was my own personal links. A lot of them were safelists and traffic exchanges that I used periodically.  My favorite games were there - everything.  I did have the URL's written down elsewhere, but not all in one place, so now I'm not even sure what was there.  I naively didn't consider that PS would go under.  They appeared to be solid.  I will definitely check out olebuddy's recommendation. I think the FusionCash toolbar is a great alternative to a homepage.  Everything I need at FC is right there in one convenient spot.

That's the beauty of the Internet, if you know where to look you can get prices anyone can afford, or even make a profit from.

This sounds good. I may need this in the future. However, twice I saved so much by being on a sight, not realizing it could go down and you would loose all your stuff. I saved all my nursing exams and read books online and had many shows on operator 11 and it went down. that was a lesson for me not to save videos thinking they would always be there. Its been good here as fusion seems to be hanging in there.

I don't know if you ever found out how to get a banner on your post, but it is easy.  If you go to your profile (in the FORUM), you can request a banner in the color of your choice, and it will automatically appear at the end of your posts.   Have fun.  I love FC !!!!!

What sort of sites do you personally use for your Protopage...or what do you like to use a start page for? I made a Start.io page a while back to put my main earning websites on so I wouldn't forget to check in daily. I have a notepad file though with a loooooong list of earning sites. Lol. It gets overwhelming sometimes!

I cut way back on the number of earning sites I visit, so there are just a few now and most of them send me an email when I need to visit, like Fusioncash does. I do include a few communities I visit multiple times throughout the day and links to my own websites I need to update along with YouTube and Gmail.

i wouldnt change this for anything.  if you have pages you go to every day, its just as simple to book mark them and click the little star to get there :)

That is certainly your choice, but there is something about having them in your face that encourages action and I like that.

I went to a gym that closed its doors one day without warning and kept taking money. Declared bankruptcy and did not have to pay back the money.

I think that's wrong to keep taking people's money after business fails, but not having to pay that portion back. Ripoffs!

I have no idea PeopleString closed down. :o I signed up as a free member and got paid once. After a year or two, things got kind of stagnant and revenues haven’t been paid to members who followed the rules. I got bored of it and finally closed my account. I never considered upgrading membership and I’m glad I never did. Who would have thought PeopleString could only last a few years and then disappear without advance notice? I hate to imagine the members who invested a lot of $$$ in it are going through a loss.
