When you are at home alone, do you close the door when you go to the bathroom? :P

NO. I also sometimes even go to the laundry room and put what I am wearing right into the washer and then go back to my room to take a shower. :wave:

LOL I know, it's like nobody's there to see you, so who cares? lol My dogs, however, tend to follow me and then I get self-conscious. LOL!!! J/K :dog:

This actually depends. I will usually do it out of force of habit, but if I am trying to listen to something on TV or the like, then I will usually leave the door open!

I usually leave the door open if its just me and my husband at home. I have caught myself closing the door though right after the grandkids leave for the day. lol

I normally keep it open so that I can hear if someone comes to the front door.

It is just my husband and I are the only ones in the house now so I don't shut the door at all, unless we have company and sometimes I forget to shut the door.

I leave it open so often that i really have to make a concious effort to close it when theres company :P

I still leave it closed. Personal preference, feels weird to leave it open. Even if I'm alone.

Yea, because I'd never know whether one of my siblings or parents is coming. Gotta be ready for anything. I never lock the door, though.

When I am alone, I still close the bathroom door.

I leave it partially open. My bathroom is across the hall from an bedroom window with a clear shot to the bathroom mirror (which is huge) - so if I have a nosy neighbor with a peeping scope...well..better to be safe than sorry. :D
I'm not that concerned, but I sometimes tend to let my imagination run away...

I am never home alone with 3 kids and a wife. So I close the door all the time. If there is chance I'm home alone, then I still tend to close the door.
Sometime I forget to let down the toilet seat. My wife hates that.

I don't if I'm by myself. Sometimes the cat comes in, but I don't think he's offended. Or at least he doesn't say anything about it.

No, i do not close the bathroom door when im home alone(unless i dont wont my cats in the bathroom with me ,but i really dont think they care what we look like lol)

If you usually do not live by your self it becomes a hobbit to close the door. I think it is a good idea anyways since you may forget otherwise when someone else is around. Interesting question. :wave:

If no one is home I do not. If I close the door the cat will just push it open or scratch at it anyway, so why bother.

I have a bad habit of just not closing the door but also locking it, even when I alone. LOL. I am way too self conscious.

It's just my husband and myself so I dont even close the door when he's here.

If I am home alone I keep it open, my dogs and cats like to know where "mommy" is, and who's there anyway. When my husband is home or of course company, the door is closed.

Yes I do closed the door everytime I went to the bathroom. I`m always worried about somebody break the house and I`m not ready.

I do, but i don`t want my kid to close the door when shes in the bathroom. One time, scared me to death when she locked the door inside and the bathtub was full of water.

I also fall into that group where there are only the two of us in the home now, so I also just don't ever worry about closing the door. No point in it if it's just the two of us, so alone is no different.

Ok that question was awesome - really brought a smile to my face. ;D No, I don't - lol - I am newly widowed and I have the house all to myself and I do not shut the door. Why bother I figure and I only have myself to please so .....................

i usually dont close the door if i know no one is home and i know itll be quick. but its funny because as soon as anyone is home i close the door and lock it. ive had experience with people not knocking or being aware of the bathroom light on = occupied! its a little embarrassing to have someone walk in on you. but mostly because they get embarrassed. some times with girlfirends i dont care because if we are at a friends house with a large bathroom we will just go in together like its nothing lol (but dont look at me!)

There are times when I leave the door open. Then there are times when I close the bathroom door. Being the only female in a house of males, you have to. Generally, my husband have to go after I get in the tub or my grandson don't think of going until I go in there. ??? :-X

Nope. Sometimes, I don't close the door when others are home - only if they are currently within line of site of the toilet. My master bathroom is not visible unless you come all the way through the bathroom and turn (it is in a little closet). So I never shut that door.

Always, just a habit, but i do not like the door open when anyone is in the house including hubby. I like the privcy . To each is own.

No, I leave it open. My bedroom has it's own bathroom, and I never close that one either way.

Not usually..I live alone so I don't see the point. But maybe I should because almost every time, my cat Alley will run in and become airborne at the doorway and land in my lap. You could say he is lookin for love in all the wrong places ;D

nope leave it open I too have kitties that would come screaming for the drink the one kittie will come running to jump up on the bathroom sink to have a cool drink thank heavens they don't do it with company they run and hide and they know better than to even try the kitchen counter they get sprayed by the water bottle there lol

i never close the door when i go to the bathroom unless i have company over(which is very seldom) or if i have to go number 2 coz i dont want the whole apt to stink.

Yes. I always do close the door for privacy out of habit. You never know who will be coming home at that time.

It depends upon the mood I'm in. If I'm feeling "crappy", I'll shut the door. ;D ;D ;D

I like to leave it open to hear, but sometimes I will close it without thinking about it.....no one there to barge in on me....
