I'm still using Windows XP on this computer.  I am in no hurry to change, but eventually,  I know I will have to.  I held on to Windows 95 for years.  It just gets to the point where nothing still works with the old OS's.

How does 8 hold up so far? I've heard mixed things (more bad than good). I'm still with 7 atm though.

I Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Windows 8, I still like Windows 7 but I love how everything is faster and more simple to use and get to, I know it takes some getting used to, but once you're used to it. Heck, You'll love it. I know I do. When I first saw the OS, I thought, O.M.G I hate it and will never like it. Or use it, But I upgraded and it's been 2 months. And I love every minute that I use it.  ;D ;D

I'm still on Windows 7, but have played around with Windows 8 on a few occasions. My biggest beef with anything normally when changing operating systems is compatibility and I have a lot of things that just doesn't work on this.

I was thinking about upgrading to Windows 8 in the future, when it gets improved, and I upgraded to Internet Explorer 10, however, Google Chrome and Firefox are much better and don't
crash a whole lot. it is a major inconvenience to try to do something on Internet Explorer, and then it crashes, and you lose your work. Microsoft needs to pay me to use their stuff, as it is
flawed.

I really dont care for Windows 8. of course, I didn't try it on a touch screen.  But I did try it out with a laptop and I find it hard to navigate. I think I'd rather stick with Windows 7.

As for me... I have been debating whether to upgrade.

Actually if you all say it improves the speed..
Than that is a plus for me.
The use.. and esy of the use....
Is here nor there.  I can learn the new program.

The ability it has to improve what I do online...
I am all for it.

Still have more reviewing.
Hoping to see more replies... and opinons.. experiences from this new system.

Thanks for the question.  :star: :star:

Happy Earnings!!

I have worked on windows 8 a couple of times.  I don't plan on changing to it unless I really have to.  I don't like it.  I had a windows phone and traded it in because I didn't like that, and windows 8 is so much the same things.  I can understand upgrading but to make that much of a change is alot harder.  My son works on computers and he has been working with it sence it come out and he is now just getting so he likes it.

Windows 8 looks neat. Combining a tablet with a laptop seems like a good idea, although it makes me kind of question its processing power. I'll be using Windows Vista until this computer breaks. :P
