Title: Jobs2Shop
Post by: crazeebaguti on March 10, 2013, 08:03:52 pm
I guess this is almost related to FC since it used to be an offer, but my question is about Jobs2Shop itself.

I've recently gone back and clicked on all the "reward emails' from jobs2shop, and just got nearly $10 credited to my account in 30 minutes. this seems too good to be true...

does anyone here have any experience with Jobs2SHop? Have you had success cashing out? Any other advice you could give? I tried looking on google and found mixed reviews, who knows if some of them are just working for jobs2shop and thats the only reason there's good reviews...

I trust all you on this forum  :) so it would be great to hear any opinions! Thanks!

I have never heard of this opportunity before.
However, I joined a few paid to click opportunities where they pay you $100 per click on emails and $50 per click on banners.
Cashout is either $10K or $25K. The funny thing is that they are both free to join and to upgrade is $166 where you can cashout whenever you want.

I stayed away from that deal.  Plus, this really smells of a SCAM since on one of them, the ads were the same every day and there was a lot of bad grammar and spelling.
I am amazed that these sites are still in business.  When I went on line, what I learned was that any site promising more than $0.05 per click is most likely a scam or at least you should be weary and the more amount per clicks the higher the probability that it is a scam.  I have seen some for $2/ad, $5/ad, $10/ad clicked.

I have joined but didn't receive my credit when it was on the offer page.  I have a few emails, Just didn't figure it out yet to see where and what everything is.  All we have to do is give it a chance and when I figure stuff out I will get the lay of the land and I figure it out I will post again to help you out.

It does sound too good to be true. I have been doing the emails from Jobs2Shop for a while, I'm almost at cashout. I figured as long as I don't put any money into it, it wouldn't hurt to try it out! I'll update when I find out if they really pay. I don't think there's much chance of that, but you never know!

I Havent Reached The Cashout Yet But Once I Do, I Will Try. If I Don,t Get No Where , I Will Just Stick To The Programs I Know That Do Pay.
FC Is At The Top Of The List   :notworthy:

Yeah I am puzzled with that one too.  I reached $25 which I understood to be the cash out required, yet when I tried to cash out I got a message saying I was $6.55 away from a cashout.  The next time I logged on, I no longer had $25, it changed to like $23 and change.  Now I am back up to almost $24.50 and when I hit cash out, it says I am $6.85 away from cashing out which doesn't make sense to me.  I also show an amount under reviewed of $15.15.  The $15.15 and $6.85 would equal $20, but I don't know where those figures are coming from.

Then I read this in the terms and conditions:

Minimum payment threshold is approved $50 USD in your account. You must have accumulated $50 USD in your account for redemption.

but then it says this further down:
A.10) Payout Requirements: To request payout Jobs2Shop members must have:
(a) current contact info
(b) verified phone number
(c) correct & validated PayPal entered in account
(d) a minimum of $25 Approved from Surveys
(e) a maximum of $25 in Reward Emails is allowed per payment request. Money from Reward Emails exceeding $25 will still accumulate in the Email Treasure Chest and will be eligible for future payment requests.

I think the bottom line is that you can only get $25 for opening emails and then you have to have $25 from surveys before you can cash out for a total of $50.  If I need $25 from surveys I will never make it because most of them are things like buying Gerber life insurance (which I already have) or getting insurance quotes (which I am tied into because of my homeowners ins) or college info.  If anyone figures it out, please fill me in.

 I don't know how you were able to cash-out that many times in such a short period of time, Guess you must do (have done) alot of the offers ??? Alls I do it open the e-mail from .10 to .25 cents.
I just wanted to add that I have cashed-out 1 time (last month) and it took me about 4 or 5 months to reach the $25... I did get paid... So NOT a scam but sure did take a long time... Also give them time to send your check, because after 6 weeks I too thought it was a scam but it (Check from Citi Bank) finally arrived.

Question for any of you who got paid....Did you get paid by just opening the emails?  or did you have to do a combination of emails and what they call surveys?  If so, how much did you have to earn before cashing out.  In one place it looks like $25, but when I read another section it seems to say you have to have $50, part in surveys part in emails.

I am at $24.85 again, but like I said, last time I got to $25 I tried to cash out and they said I needed $6.55 more and the next time I logged in my total was reduced to $23.00.  Maybe an advertiser reversed payment to them.  That is all I can figure out.  There doesn't seem to be any way to really ask them questions.

Thanks to all of you for your comments. Really helpful discussion

For those of you that had balance issues, I'm in the same boat as you right now. I cashed out for $25 with a balance of $28.05 (weird how you can only do $25 at a time but if its legit then hey, whatever)

Now, I have completed some offers (including survey ones) in the past 2 days and my "cash balance" has not gone up at all from $3.05. HOWEVER, my "reviewed" balance has been increasing.

Now, I take this to be a good thing, since "reviewed" sounds pretty legit, BUT, I can't actually find out what this means anywhere in their Terms and Conditions and why my cash balance (probably the only one that matters) hasn't gone up. I'm hoping maybe after the 1st cash-out is processed it will happen?

It seems that a lot of people on this site http://richinwriters.com/jobs2shopcom-review-scam/ also had trouble, which is why I thought I should stay away.

However, considering that a few of you have managed to cash out (4 times already?!), I definitely feel a bit more hopeful about the whole thing. Hopefully all of us with issues will resolve them and receive our checks sooN!

I'll send an update if my first check ever arrives :peace:

Also I think when I read the Terms my brain skipped the part that said "50dollars" because it automatically went to the bullet points. I just went back and read them much more thoroughly...thanks for this!

Jobs2Shop...I didn't have a good experience...I made $16 and wasn't credited for several shops completed.  When I reported this I was told that sometimes the sponsors don't pay them so in turn Jobs2Shop don't pay you...I wasn't a happy camper as you can imagine so I lost faith and was afraid to try anymore shops, thinking it could be one big waste of time...so I lost my $16 earned and have never returned to the site  :crybaby2:

I'm sorry :( i just found all this in their terms and conditions and its not the happiest of news, but does provide some advice? (in a way)

D. NO PAYMENT GUARANTEE. Jobs2Shop does NOT guarantee that a member will receive credit for a completed survey and offer. Jobs2Shop will make reasonable efforts to track and report your signing up for offers but does not guarantee the precision of the process. We reserves the right to refuse the credit to members for offers for variety of reasons, including, but not limited to , Lack of appropriate information, Improper signup, Improper browser settings, Errors in third party reporting, and / or any other reason.
D.1) There are conditions in order for Jobs2Shop members to receive a cash incentive. Jobs2Shop members must have cookies enabled. Jobs2Shop members must access the partner site through Jobs2Shop. These conditions are mandatory so that the partner will know that the Jobs2Shop member used Jobs2Shop to reach the partner site. You agree that all redemption processes shall be done through the Member Accounts page on Jobs2Shop.

Is it possible you didnt have cookies enabled or other "appropriate browser settings" and that's why you ddidnt get credited? If not, I'm sorry, because I totally understand. I did 3 offers that were supposed to be between $1-$2 and I swear I did them all the way through but never got credited. Sometimes luck just isnt on your side.  :-

:dontknow: This is my 2nd post on this thread... I really don't know what to say besides I Did get paid $25.00), I just kelp opening the E-Mails for .05 to .25 cents... Never did any surveys or any offers (just the e-mails) from my e-mail account...The ones that say "View Assignment" would take me to the Job2Shop site, the others take me to some-other online site...They open in another window, kinda like our .02 here... the Job2Shop site has 2 sets of pay, I watch the top one and when I got to $26.05 I cashed-out, Filled out alittle info (home address, phone)... the bottom one says I have around $95 [don't know what that's about]... I never bothered reading the terms and conditions...
The one thing I wanted to say is, "It took a LONG time (about 6 months)"... :sad1:
Oh-Yeah; afterwards the stated me over with the $1.05 I had left... I'm up to about $5.50 now  :)
Best of Luck to anyone doing it...
P.S. It took about 2 months after requesting it, but they paid me by check (Citi Bank) $25 bucks in the mail.

OK I found an email address for them and emailed them the other day.  I asked how come in one spot it looked like you needed $50 to cash out, but then in another place it said $25.

Their answer was basically that it had been $50 but they lowered it to make it easier for people.  They wrote that you needed $10 in offers and a maximum of $10 in emails.

That made no sense to me so I wrote back.  $10 + $10 = $20, not $25.  They answered that the other $5 came from a sign up bonus.

I do now remember that they did start my account with $5 in it, but I still don't understand because I doubt that after you cash out the first time they give you another $5.  So after your first cash out I don't understand what the requirements for cash out will be.

They told me that reviewed just means that you reviewed the offer, but not that you have completed or been credited for it, so reviewed really doesn't mean anything.

I do not remember doing any offers or surveys as the call them, but apparently I must have because they said I need like another $6 in offers to cash out even though my balance is over $25.  It works like FC, where you have to have $15 in offers to cash out at a total of $25.

I still am a little unclear on how it works and why they have not updated their terms and conditions when they changed the rules, but they answered me promptly and courteously, so I am going to keep working on it for a cash out.   I don't see how someone could cash out 4-5 times either.  I signed up as soon as I saw it on here and I open every email I get, so without doing offers, I don't know how the people here are lucky enough to cash out like that, but I am glad they are making some money!

Their email is:  support(at)jobs2shop.com

It is very strange because sometimes I click on emails that say, "get .10 in your account for reviewing."  So I will open that email and I will not get credit.  Then another time I will open an email that says that and I will get credit, so it seems really spotty.  I think I need another $4.10 to cash out, so I am just going to keep opening emails until I get enough.

I never used it and would like to try it. I guess that is how ou really find out if a system works or not is by trying it. I am guessing it was an offer on a page. I go to so many job websites that I probably thought it was just another way to get more emails for jobs in other states. They are so annoying to me. Like someone is going to pick up and move to another state by filling out an application without confirmation of a job on the other end.

The last several days I knew I was getting close to cash out.  For the last two days it said I needed just .10 more in offers to cash out.  I did two offers and now I get this message:

We've received your cash out request. However, there are some requirements you must meet in order to be eligible for a payment. These requirements are as follows:

• A minimum $12.50 of cash assignments must be completed towards your balance.
• A maximum $12.50 of reward mail credit can be applied per payment request. The rest will be available towards your next cash out.

Currently you have completed $6.00 of cash assignments and you have earned credit for $14.15 of Reward Emails. You are almost there! You need to complete few more assignments to be eligible for a payment.

Very frustrating.

Most of the surveys are really trying to sell you something.  Since you have to have half of your credits in surveys, be prepared to get quotes or buy something to get a cashout on this.  You can't do it on paid emails alone.

You can sign up for mystery shopper programs on there and I have found them to be legit of the ones I tried.  However, you don't make big bucks from it.  More like you get a free meal or get reimbursed for one once in a while.  The actual fees will cover your gas to get there.

I quit the jobs2shop...I was up to $16 fairly quickly but I didn't get paid for 2 offers I completed and when I inquired, I was told that it isn't there fault that sometimes the sponsor don't pay them, so they don't get paid, you don't get paid...not worth the aggravation to me and of course I didn't get the $16  :sad1:

Seems too good to be true... If you can make $10 for 30 minutes then that site will be flocked, blogged, and have multiple site verification (like BBB, TRUSTe, Verisign, etc)... It does have a GoDaddy verification but it doesn't have much information about it (like how long the company has been operating and business location)...  Seems to fishy to me

I just want to caution everyone that this is a FC client and remember that the rules caution about stating anything negative.  As I said, they always answer my emails it just seems that I have a hard time figuring out what gets credited where.  Several people in this thread have stated that they have been paid.  Someone even stated they had been paid multiple times.  There is no reason they would say that if it were not true.

I even got a survey from them the other day.  Maybe some of you got it too.  It paid $2 and it seemed that they just wanted to know what I thought of the site.  I think they are looking for feedback which is always a refreshing thing.

It appears that I am now about $3.25 in offers away from cashing out.

Several people here have been paid so I believe it works, but it I think that there is a lot of confusion about the ratio of opening emails to actual offers that you have to do.  You have to have $12.50 in completed offers and an over all total of $25.00 to cash out.  But they don't really let you know that until you go to cash out, so that made a lot of people wonder.  It does state that in the rules, but what makes it more confusing is that you get a little notice when you click on the  link that tells you how far away you are from cash out.  This amount is based on emails and offers.  So for example, it kept telling me, You only need .25 more to cash out.  So I got that amount by opening emails and then clicked on the cash out link and was now told that I needed to completed $7 in offers.

It is just the way they have the site set up that needs to make things more clear.

I do have a little experience with jobs2shop, and I am waiting for them to send me my first cash out. However, since I put in my request for payment,  I do not receive as many emails as I first did when I started.

Yes you definitely have to do more than just the "reward mail" to get paid (aka do actual offers/surveys as well), but I did successfully get paid!  I am about to request my second cashout.

I check the emails and take as many surveys I can per day. Still got the cashout, I was over $25 limit.  :notworthy:

If anyone figures it out, please fill me in.

they seem to keep change what they do.  I have not got any emails in s while from them since I sent a request for what the rules where.  The emails I received did not go to a valid page, and could not be found.  I did just get to a page that works and my account is still there, I will try the surveys and see how I do.

I have signed up with Jobs2shop but I have only cashed out once. I am not as active on that site as I am on this one.

Thanks!

I joined Jobs2Shop around the same time I joined FC, that would have been mid July I think. I sent in my request for my first cashout yesterday (8/18/13). Does anyone know how long it takes before I will find out if it is approved? I wish they still paid through PayPal like the terms say but I have heard it is only by check now.

I've just joined jobs2 shop and I'm already at like $16.00. All I did was click the emails and I completed only a few offers. I'm hopeful that once I get to the cash out amount I won't have any problems.

I have been a member of jobs2shop for a long time.  I use to get emails from them but have not in a long time.  I cannot log into my account and I emailed them and told them I didn't remember the passcode and they emailed back and said they do not retain that information.  Anyway, now when I try to log in and click "forgot password" it tells me to email support.  Why bother.  They don't retain that information. lol.  I don't know.  I wondered if they deactivated my account for some reason.

I do the same thing, but didn't reach out cash out point yet.  I'll try it and see if they paid me or  never stuck on that site again.
