You are not alone! I have problems falling asleep due to my mind racing in a thousand different directions...and a poor nights sleep or not enough sleep sure makes for a long day! :sad1:
-
me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I stay up way too late, or early I guess, and than have trouble functioning the next day and *bleep* about being tired. Do I change my behaviour? Of course not.
-
I'm usually up until 4 or so although sometimes I'm up all night. Damn Insomnia. Drives me crazy.
-
I've only really been getting tired recently. No matter when I go to sleep I can't seem to wake up in time for work, and if i do, I'm in a horrible mood all day.
-
there's a pressure point that if you ball your fists and place the fists at point just above the knee caps between your legs -- you'll drop off to sleep in 5 to 10 minutes. hope it helps. if you want to stay awake there is a point just under the ridge in your ear when pressed it will hurt and it will keep you awake. use to use it on long distant drives across USA. the pressure point in the ear not the other - ha, ha.

me and my kids stay up real late every weekend,, go to sleep around 3ish in the morning,, my husband he works 3rd shift and sometimes he will come home and we just all went to bed.,
-
yes. i do. i have no idea why. sometimes i just stay home from work
-
No, but no matter how much sleep I get, I always feel tired. It is NOT fun.
-
yes I do! Insomnia is what brought me here in the first place. Then, I have to get up at 6:30 to get my kids ready for school. I'm always still sleepy in the mornings. It's funny the best cure for insomnia is realizing its time to get up!!
-
Wow...in fact, I had an appointment t the Sleep Center in Worcester, MA and doc put me up for a sleep study (all paid for by insurance) on June 25th..I get a private room tempature controlled...tv, dvd player, fresh linens, snacks...private bathroom...I can't wait. also put me on ambien.

lol im curious
I pulled a all night one time with my friend, Drank some redbull.......Crashed after 6 hours. Never did it again!
-
Yep and it's gotten worse ever since I started posting on these forums! ^.^

I always tell myself that I am going to be in bed and asleep before 10. I have to get up at 5am for work. I rarely actually make it. I end up on the computer or watching tv and then crawling in bed and reading a book until about midnight. By the end of the week I am completely exhausted and useless.
-
I do this usually during the summer time and sleep all day. For some reason I sleep a LOT better during the day than what I do at night. xD
But since school has started up again my previous schedule is killing me. x.x So, I know how you feel. It's weird having to get up at 6 am.
-
I too suffer from insomnia. The big problem with me is I have a four month old. So instead of going to sleep at a normal time I go to sleep at four and five in the morning only to be awakened by him at six or seven. Then I end up having to stay up or only getting like two more hours of rest before my other kids get up.

NO

I'm usually up all night and sleep during the day. I'm not in school or have a job right now so I have that luxury of sleeping. But for the past 2 months it's like I've only been able to sleep during the day.
-
You know I Use to stay up late at night til like 1 or 2 in the morning and then wake up early. I went thru a faze where I didn't want to waste any part of my day, and sleep felt like lost hours that I could have used to do something. Now I don't feel that way, but it's a weird thing. :dontknow:
-
No, I just get my 7 to 8 hours a night and I am fine the next day. I never understood why people stay up late and lose sleep unless it was really necessary. The book/tvshow/computer or whatever can wait. I hate feeling like crap the next day because of a lack of sleep. Some days are hard enough to get through because of what we face each day, so I wonder why people do this to themselves? To each their own, but I just wonder...

Most weekdays, I am not able to get online until after 7 pm. This is the time I use trying to earn money online, or to do something else so I am usually going to bed around 1 am, sometimes 2 am then wake up at 8:30 am. On Saturdays, I stay up late to watch TV.

I have been a nocturnal person as far as I can remember. I can do most of my productive work at night, either studying or anything for that matter. I am fine till late afternoon, but then I feel so tired, I just have to take a nap ;D. When I tried doing the opposite, I 'accomplished' sleeping early and also becoming lazy during daytime 8). So, guess what! I switched back to my routine. My mom tells me I used to give her a hard time in the night even when I was a child.:angel12:

I'll join the club! Me too and these furom is a big part of my staying up late.
-
Guilty here...I think I have my days and nights confused......I want to say up at night and sleep at work.... ;D
-
Lately I have been waking up during the night....my mind wakes up with thoughts about work and then it rolls over to the online projects I am working on.
I'm gonna need to take a nap!
-
i'm dead tired by 10 or 11, there's no way I could stay up all night. 6 a.m. comes awful early!!!! :o
-
oh, yes! i'm so tired by the time i put the kids to bed but, i stay up just so i can have quiet time to unwind. then, i set the alarm an hour before i get the kids up in the morning so i can have my coffee in peace. i can't wait for the bus to come so i can take a nap but, by then, the caffeine has kicked in and i'm wired!
