Title: Paranormal
Post by: autumnsparklemom on March 18, 2013, 07:53:24 am
I really enjoy the paranormal. I have experiences some things but it was many years ago. I do have some paranormal equipment that I would enjoy using when it warms up. I also like watching Paranormal shows such as Ghost Adventures and Ghost Hunters. Any other paranormal interests out there?  :D

I have a great deal of interest in the paranormal.  Most events or things are easily explained logically and rationally.

We do plan on purchasing a Gauss meter and an EMF detector (those are two things the Ghost Hunter people use).  Part of this reason is because too much EMF or electronics around the human body can cause illnesses.

But, then, there are things that are not easily explained away.  I am fascinated by the egotism of people who do not believe in such things because they themselves have not experienced it.  There is almost no way for a single person to experience everything under the sun.  Why should we assume that we can?  I have never been to the deep ocean, but I know it exists.  :D

Paranormal research is very interesting but a little scary and creepy. There are all kinds of stories about spirits that roam the earth for different reasons. I believe some of it to be true. I am mostly fascinated by the stories of families or star crossed loves. :)

I believe in the paranormal, but telling you I have an interest in it is creepy and grosses me out.  I believe that there are ghosts that are protective and there are ghosts that control.  My late grandmother early one morning screamed that this ghost that scared the bejesus out of my sister should leave her alone.  I went away to visit with a friend for the weekend and my sister was somewhere else.  She said something was in the couch bowling and making a lot of noise.  I believe that they have ways of making you pay for whatever they think you are responsible for. ??? ??? ???

I've been a fan of several different shows in the past.  My current favorite is My Ghost Story:  Caught on Camera on Biography.  They feature 4-5 stories each episode.  The reason why I like this show is because they feature "evidence" caught on camera, video, and/or audio recorders.  I don't put much into photos of orbs (light energy--or bugs, depending on who you talk to) but some of what they show is pretty interesting and sometimes even freaky.

I'm a sucker for anything paranormal or mysticle. I love a good story, I enjoy the feeling I get when thinking about all the possibilities in our world. I agree with a previous replier, there are many things I have not witnessed my self but I do not discredit their existence.  :icon_rr:

Paranormal  activity is all around me so watching the shows about it are interesting, but I would rather listen to coast to coast when I can.

My Ghost Story has been the only one to really creep me out. Ghost Adventures isn't bad either. The very first Ghost Adventures special/episode that they ever aired made my mouth drop.

I find it interesting.  I don't really do anything with it but will watch shows on occasion.  I do wish some of them did a little more.  I get really annoyed when someone says they saw something over in the direction the camera wasn't facing.  I do realize that when it happens to you, it's scary and exciting at the same time, but aim the camera people, that's why you have one in the first place.

My Favorite Paranormal show on cable is Paranormal State those Penn State Students really do some very interesting investigations I Love that show a lot. can get pretty scary at times and crawls up your skin but I think that makes the show that much more entertaining to watch.

I do not believe in any of that. But my girlfriend loves those ghost hunting shows. And she actually believes it. I laugh.

My daughter-in-law grew up in a home with paranormal experiences.  Her parents and the two children can tell many stories about paranormal experience in their home.  Some are women arguing, running sounds down the steps and no one is there, items flying off the shelf, Ouija Board experiences, vacuum cleaner turning on with no one touching it, TV turning on and off by itself, etc. The father was standing in the hall with no shirt on, then he felt a finger run down his back he turned to see no one there, then looked on the floor and found a thick gel on the floor.  The Father always tries to find a reasonable explanation but that one he could not explain. Eerie stories. My son had experienced the running down the steps when he was there at one time.

I spoke to a women about that families experience and told her they have a Ouija Board. The women said tell them to never keep the planchette with the board when not in use because it keeps the paranormal communication open.  I told my daughter-in-law's Mom and she threw out the Ouija Board. They continue to have experiences. I would have never purchased a Ouija Board for my children I told her.

My daughter-in-law had a girl-friend that got killed by a crazy boyfriend.  My daughter-in-law was visited by her girl-friend for months until she saw a psychic. The psychic had to communicate with the deceased girl and tell her that she is scaring the girls she is communicating with.  The visits stopped after that. I guess my daughter-in-law has that extra sense capability.  I don't.

I like hearing the stories.

My religion believes it's an act of satin.  What is your opinion? Is it an act of Satin or Spirits that can't cross over.

Ive had many experiences. You must have an open mind in order not to scare yourself to death. A few times when I do not see anything but can FEEL something around me, I will take a picture and put it on my comp and explore it. Some times it is nothing. Other times I see faces, people, animals, orbs, some good some bad. What really irritates me is when Im on my computer and I get up to do something or get a drink or whatever , My computer will shut off or change websites or the volume will turn on loud even when I always keep my speakers off. Then when I try to get back on my computer it will keep shutting off and turning on. I spoke with a Physic about this and they told me someone is telling me they want me off the computer. I shut down my comp then comp will come on by itself. I will then tell the spirit(we call him my hubbys uncle Henry) to please leave my computer alone. About an hour later, things are back to normal again.
