When you sit down and read a story, what is your favorite genre to read? It could be nonfiction, any type of fiction, fantasy, mystery, etc.

I actually like a variety of books. I am drawn to books regarding people's faith. I recently read Left to Tell which was the story of a young woman's survival from the genocide in Rwanda. It was a heartbreaking story of grief and loss, survival and forgiveness. It was very inspiring.

I enjoy reading books on Military history, science ficition and westerns by Louis Lamour.

I don't mind most genre's as long as there is a good story involved. My main genre though is fantasy, medieval type of stuff.

My favorite genre overall is biographies. I am currently reading The Strange Odyssey of Michael Jordan by Sam Smith. It's a pretty good book about Michael Jordan's first retirement and his come back to the Bulls in the late 94-95 season. But I also like reading books that are comical such as the Archie Comics digests.

Anything to do with a good Western (Cowboy).

I love the mysteries; I call them "whodunit" books because, for me, I wonder who did it all through the book and am intrigued when I finally discover who did it! These days, it is not always the butler who did it!! :o ??? :o

My favorite genre of book to read is fantasy. My favorite fantasy novel is the "Narnia" series.

My favorite genre is non-fiction. I love to learn new things all the time and reading non-fiction allows me to do that. I used to read a lot of fiction when I was younger, but I really don't read fiction at all anymore. I find this reading preference also transfers to my TV watching. I almost exclusively watch non-fiction programs and stay away from the fictional stuff.
