Have you ever experienced love at first sight?
Or does it only exist in fairytales?
All comments, stories, and thoughts will be greatly welcomed
Well Whether or not you belive in love at first sight i will tell you a little story
When i was just a wee bit younger not to much younger tho i basically
went through a rough spot dealing with sickness and discouragement.
Well anyways long story short my mom came home one day and told me to go check the truck..
Here i am cooking and she tells me to go check the truck.. LOL..i was a little angry because
She told me that but anyways... i went to check the truck and in it is a small crate and i'm
confused at first (dont laugh people my mom is not one for animals or.. at least i thought..)
anyways... in this crate was a beautifull small Chihuahua.. The prettiest one i have seen in my life..
She growled of course because she was scared here is a big ol head looking down at her and shes like
ATTACK! hahaha... I love that dog... Yes i fell in love with that dog from the moment i saw her.. She turned out
to be one of the best things that happened in my life Eventually we got her a companion.. We named him Rocky Her name was Sandy..
Hahah cute right? and btw.. they fell in love at first sight too.. Hahaha.. Small world right?

Yes, I have! I call it "love crush". It happens all the time to both sexes who admire extremelly good looking people.

Don't believe in it, but I guess it can happen, maybe not love but a strong feeling or attraction but love?????? I don't know. :wave:

Infatuation at first sight yes, true meaningful deep love, develops over time.

aww my mom adopted a chihuahua from one of her friends at work when he couldnt care for her anymore. she had to be put down coz she had congestive heart failure.

I believe only in lust at first sight....especially if you know NOTHING about that person. They could be a child molester or bank robber or anything...it's only lust at first sight!

Yes, I am a real believer in that initial chemistry that makes it so much more special. But, I fail to trust it and spend the time to dig deeper. It just seems that dating after 40 feels more like a job interview sometimes than it should.

Awww...what a touching story. My cousin and I found two puppies in a kroger sack on the railroad tracks. I took the girl and he took the boy. He named his puppy Bob and I named my puppy Missy. Missy was my best friend; I loved my puppy. She would sit in the window and would be happy to see me when I came home from school. One night my aunt and her husband came to see us. He wanted Missy and I said no. I woke up the next morning and Missy was gone; he stole her while I was asleep. Nobody had the heart to tell me my Missy was gone. We went to visit my aunt and I saw Missy. She was glad to see me. I later was told that her husband shot Missy because she was begging for some food. He took a kitten, threw it up in the air and let it fall to its death. He died in 2001, and was blind as the result of being stupid. He was abusive and beat my aunt. She took the poker from the fireplace and poked him in the eye. He lost that eye. His brother asked him why did he steal his truck and they got into a fight, which resulted in him losing his remaining eye when his brother rammed a bicycle rim into his face. He was a very mean man, and he got what he deserved. :( :( :( :wave:.

I've got a great love at first site story for you. While in high school one summer vacation. My friends and I would "cruise the strip." We always landed in the McDonalds parking lot. One of my girl friends met a boy...a few days later her and I were on a double date. At the end of the date we went into a Tastee Treat while the guys said they would be right in. While we were ordering our ice cream they ditched us. A few nights later I ran into the guy I'd been paired up with and asked, "What happened?" He said, "he didn't really know, that he was in a relationship and that he didn't know what was going on with the other guy." Fast forward 20 years later and I'm working in wal-mart as a cake decorator. A girl in another department was trying to set me up with a guy in TLE. After 2 or 3 months he and I bump into each other in the break room. It clicks with both of us who each other are and we start dating. Into dating for a couple of weeks we realize...we had been matched up 20 years ago ... he was the guy in a relationship. I don't know about love at first site...but he and I both were attracted to one another right away. After 2 1/2 years of our undocumented marriage - our love has gotten stronger and deeper every day.

The first time I met my husband I came home and called my sister and told her he was the one for me. We have been together ever since and very happy ; so yes I believe in love at first sight.

I think it happens when you have a child, my emotions went crazy with my first one

I believe in attraction at first sight, even chemistry at first sight, but love has to grow and develop to truly be love. It is a wonderful experience when the instant connection of attraction & chemistry results in lifelong relationship but I do not think it happens very often that way...too many times the reality is that initial attraction ends up with disappointment as one or both of the parties involved do not live up to expectations.
