While football season is coming up, I am caught in the middle of a dilemma. My husband is a fan of the Steelers, while I am a fan of the New Orleans Saints. We generally watch the football games together. We have a DirecTV subscription. Unfortunately, we have the Family Package (50 channels), my husband ordered the Western Channel, and now he wants to get the Season Ticket. We tried the Sports Channel, and ended up getting rid of it in 30 days because he did not like the package. The subject came up again yesterday because his niece's husband brought up the subject of ESPN and ESPN2. I told him yesterday he is going to keep listening to this guy when he is so cheap, he complains about breaking $100. I called DirecTV and the woman on the other end told me that the Season Ticket costs $44.99 a month for 5 months, along with my monthly payment. I told her how cheap my husband is and she laughed. He wants to get rid of the DirecTV subscription we already have. He is actually considering this, and I know him well enough to know that he will have me cancel this package in 30 days because he had me put the subscription in my name, although he pays for it. What is your take on this? ??? ??? :BangHead: :wave:

I used to get the Season Ticket for football on DirecTV but it became way too expensive for me and I haven't had it in quite a few years.
