Title: letting off steam..
Post by: minioncookies on September 06, 2013, 12:42:32 pm
There is nothing sadder than coming home.. and reading a bunch of rudeness on a forum.. Give me a break people! Don't you think we have enough rudeness and hatred and evil in the world.. WHY do we need it on a Forum? If you don't like what someone posts.. Then DON'T READ IT! It's just that simple.. You have no idea what people are going through.. They could be going through a rough time.. and just want to get that off their mind.. or they could be looking for help and opinions.. or they could just be wanting to carry on a conversation.. None the less.. i am getting sick of reading rude replies to peoples posts.. its heartbreaking knowing we can't even be respectful to others on a forum.. I wanna know what the world is coming to.. if you can't go one day without one rude or hateful or disrespectful person...
Maybe i just am making to big of a deal out of it.. But i think people have the right to post whatever they want on the forum.. If it's not breaking the rules of course... What i don't get is why people have to go to someone's post and be rude about it...  Makes no sense ...
 :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

I feel like i'm swimming in a bottomless ocean of rudeness and can't get out..
Sometimes i wish fusion cash had a no reply feature where you can disable people from replying to your post...Sad.. but it's how it makes me feel sometimes..
Sorry i just wanted to get that off my chest..
I feel better now...
Continue on with your days

agreed and agreed if you can't be sensible and respectful simply to others and what they post don't bother posting a reply to anyone on the forum

Thank you for sharing this and I wholeheartedly agree. I think posting on blogs, social media, on here, or anywhere in internet world makes people feel that they are safe to vent, be obnoxious and cynical, when probably in reality they wouldn't feel safe enough to do that in front of people. I for one believe we can all be kind to one another, even if you disagree on things. Rudeness is often disguised as poor self-esteem too. A lot of people not feeling good about themselves and taking it out on everyone else.

Meanwhile, you keep up the warm and positive vibes. It does make a big impact on the people around you, even if it isn't apparent all the time.  :)

Trolls/flammers are expected on the Internet..... It's mostly because they have anonymity that they could act this way... Since no one (general case) could know who they are they could be themselves

It is sad that so many people are rude and at times just mean.  It is a forum, and people can and will have different points of views; however you can post your differences without being rude or cruel to each other.  Let's try to be kind to each other even if we differ in our opinions.

I agree completely.  I understand that you might not agree with everyone, but do you really have to post then.  Or, can't your phrase it less offensively.  I mean, come on.  If the thread titles says "I was abducted by aliens" do you really need to go in and post that the person is a complete idiot for believing that.  Or if the person says there are just posting to vent, do you really need to tell the person to "grow the %$*^ up".

Amen to this post and all the comments within it! There is absolutely no need for rudeness, name calling or condescending remarks in this forum.  :angel11:

There are indeed a lot of ignorant people in the world and they really know how to show it off through rudeness!

If you have nothing better to say, say nothing at all.  Being rude and opinionated is not the thing to write in a forum.  And there are some children on this forum, so we must consider that the people reading the posts are tender and the language is abrasive.  If you are going to post in here, be considerate.  We don't live or sleep with you, and you are unrightfully judging people and being nasty about it.  I don't like it when I read posts and the language is so nasty, it must be censored.  I understand that you are angry, but taking your frustrations out on people who don't know who you are and have had a basically good day, you make their day ugly as well.  I agree with minioncookies.  There is no sense in being rude. :o :o :o

While I agree with you basic position, I haven't really found that many responses to be rude.  There are a few, but most folks seem to be respectful and interested in what others think.  When the topic is politics or religion, the rudeness quotient seems to go up a bit.

OMG! I so agree with you!! But I guess that's how they feel better about themselves. I can't agree with that mindset, but it does irritate me.

I am a fan of these girl groups in korea and a fan of other people in the philippines and whenever there's a video on youtube, there's always people disrespecting other people..

to which in my opinion, why watch it when you didn't want to watch it in the first place?

it's like saying, I need to get angry at something, let me go on youtube! really?!

I agree totally.  I've seen several on here over the years that solely post for the sake of starting an argument.  It seems like that's all they live for.  Personally I don't see the point in it, just makes everyone feel bad and nothing gets accomplished.

I agree.

I've always thought that if you can't make your case without being rude or name-calling, you don't have much of a case.
