What do you think about the actors they chose to play Christian Grey & Anastasia Steele?

I had set my sights on two other actors and am not sure if I am going to put my beliefs in the actors that have been chosen. I thought Ryan Gosling would have been a perfect Gray. Calm, Cool, Collective yet darkness in his mind could easily be conveyed with a glance. I thought that Kristen Stewart would be perfect for the female part. She has proven her worth at being klutzy, attractive, sensous and can act bright. The movie will still do well without these two but they would have gotten my vote. I am really looking forward to the Wolf of Wallstreet. I read the book a few years ago and was pretty amazed. It is coming out in November with an all star cast and knowing that it is based on a true story makes it even better.

I've never heard of either actor. But apparently I live in the dark ages. After looking up photos of them on the Internet, I think they might fit the characters in the books.

I am not happy at all...the person that is to play Christian needs to be much more mysterious looking and I don't think the girl playing Ana...well just not a good fit...I'm disappointed :dontknow:

i think they could have gotten better choices..i just don't see either of them in the part...

I don't see the movie doing very good. The book people could read and no one knew what they were reading. lol
Yeah, I know people read it but won't admit it. But if they go to a movie people will see them there. :wave:

I like Charlie Hunnam. I watch Sons of Anarchy and just saw him in Pacific Rim, he's a good actor. Never saw the other actor in anything though.

I, personally have never heard of either of the two. I'm disappointed as well!!! However, the people behind the movie say they're good. I'm hoping they' :thumbsup:re right!

I've never even read the book. So I guess I wouldnt think any differently on who I think should be cast.

I know the girl is Melanie Griffith & Don Johnson's daughter --- I wonder what mom & dad will think of some of the scenes!
Having read the books, I cannot imagine how this can be a movie without an X rating -- if the screenplay follows the book closely!

I really wanted Ian Somerhalder to play Christian. I am a big fan of him from his T.V show, The Vampire Diaries. Plus he is gorgeous and has the most beautiful eyes! He would have been perfect! I have never watched Sons of Anarchy so I have no clue who the guy they picked for Christian even is.
