When I was in elementary school I was in the choir for a good amount of years, but that's when I was a kid. Now I can't really sing that well, but I don't suck at it. Lol

I sing and love it.  I sing in my church's choir.  We were due to sing last night at a tent revival, but the lady over it had one person sing; she has been singing for years.  She is not a member of our choir, but helps out a lot of churches because she and her sister, who is a member of our choir, have been singing for a long time.

I don't think I sing very well but was talked in to joining the church choir.  I was told the buckets to carry the tune were provided by the church.  I was told to just make a joyful noise for the Lord.  I wonder if He is tone deaf?

Well, let me just say yes to that question. I can sing but the REAL question is "DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ME SING"? I am tone deaf and only would I might sound good if I had my head in a bucket.LOL I envy people who can sing well and I wish that I had that talent. I am still searching for my talent and I have dwindled the list down greatly. Singing is NOT my talent. :sad1:

Everyone can sing. It's just a matter of whether or not they try and how bad they think they sound. I have sung in church choir and in Sweet Adelines. For those who do not know, Sweet Adelines are lady barbershop quartets. They sing in big groups usually, but each part is sung separately (lead, tenor, baritone, and bass].

Tenor is the highest voice. I was a tenor. Sweet Adelines have chapters all over the country. Our local chapter is closed now and I miss it. It is a lot of fun to hear all that harmony. ;D

I sing really well in the shower, of course. If you don't think you can sing well, try singing in the shower.

The acoustics make you sound awesome.  8)

I enjoy singing a lot and have sung in church and community choirs.  I love singing harmony with the radio, but I was not born to sing in front of an audience.  My daughter, on the other hand, is a singer/songwriter/fiddle player who makes her living singing.  Check her out at nataliestovall.com

Pretty fair baritone here, don't go out of my way to sing but do some fill-in slots for several groups in the area when they have an absence or just want to add a baritone voice. Nothing I have any aspirations in at all, but I do love good vocal artist. Sadly the current crop of 'hot' musicians are all pretty disappointing in the talent department. VERY few are in the 'gifted' department in my opinion.

I love to sing!  I was in the chorus during Jr. and Sr. High school years.  Then in college, I majored in Music Education/General Education, as a vocal major.  I was in the College Chorale, and we toured in the U.S. and overseas.  Then I taught Jr. and Sr. High Choruses, and Children's Choirs.

Since I've had asthma/chronic bronchitis, and other allergy related issues take over during the last several years, I've not been able to sing much at all.  I miss it terribly.  I recently sang my first solo after not being able to sing for close to 10 years.  I'm on so many medications, but they are beginning to pay off with helping to stabilize my condition.  :)

I sing for fun and participate in internet karaoke. I have my own microphone and a recording program. Once I sing my part, I send it to my karaoke group and they mix everyone's parts together to make a song. Not only is it fun, but it's also a great way to know more people.

??? Can I sing?  Or Can I sing well lol.  There is a big difference.  I sing but I don't sing well.  I sing for my own pleasure and to prevent the torture of the ears of others, I sing in private.  I love to sing but I couldn't sing in a choir or for the entertainment of anyone but myself.   ::)

I used to have a beautiful voice but with age and allergies now... But I can still sing. I was in the school choirs from the 6th grade on and also our congregation choir. Now both of my girls have followed in my footsteps. Mostly now I just sing in the car or when I have the record player going at home.

well like my mom says if you sing in a choir doesn't mean that you can sing a so-low! But if you ask anyone that really can't sing if they can sing they will probably say yes and of course the shower does count (cause i'm one).

I do sing. I am also in our church choir. I used to help out a friend of mines with his catering business, every time we done prepping the food or take a break, we get out the guitars and start singing some old samoan songs. It is so nice and in tune when you have other people singing with you.

Sure, I can sing. How well I sound on the other hand, well that's really going to depend on who is listening. I usually only sing when I'm by myself though. I used to be in choir when I was little up until I was 12 or 13. I couldn't continue with the choir anymore, I wish I could have though because it was kinda fun even though I'm really shy about singing.

As a KJ for my karaoke job that I host some evenings at a local bar, I sing at least once a week if not more often... But because I am the KJ, I try to let the others in the bar sing more than putting up my own songs (after all, the karaoke is for the bar patrons to sing, not for them to come hear me sing). Although sometimes I'll get a request from someone to sing a certain song (usually one of my parodies that I've written) or to be the male vocalist in a duet.

I love love love to sing by myself or with my 7 yr old son. We do karaoke and get a big kick out of it and I recently joined the choir at my church and will be singing at midnight mass Christmas eve and I'm kinda nervous. I have not sung in front of a crowd in more than 2 decades! I was told that singing is louder than prayer and Lord knows I need it and I thought "What the heck, your only in this skin once!" So wish me luck!! LOL!  :angel11:

I can not sing but I do sing in my head most of the time , singing out loud is just embarrassing for me and my family just makes fun of me with jokes xD.
