I don't know if this commercial is shown in all parts of the country but, there's one for "Duluth Trading Company" about "Ball Room" Jeans. LMFAO!!!! It's hysterical! It's like a cartoon and shows this big, burly guy in a pair of regular jeans and when he squats he starts to "sing," only his voice is like a soprano. Then they depict him in Duluth Trading's Ball Room Jeans. He squats once more and "sings," now sounding more like a baritone.

I think my favorite is for Iams dog food. It stars a black lab, who narrates the story, which is shot from his perspective. He's remembering when he and his master found "it", that wonderful, "roll-a-round" thing, while they were on a "walk, walk, walk". He says he'll never let it go because it "made you (his master) smile. (The thing was a tennis ball.) :dog: :star::heart:

I love the York's Peppermint Patty commercial; it hasn't been on in a while. There is an old man eating a peppermint patty and someone asked him what sensation he got when he ate one. He started laughing and said I'm just glad I get a sensation! Every time I see that one it just cracks me up!!! :wave:

i love the camel and hump day commercial--it is the best i have seen in sometime!! i hear tho that some find it annoying and they want to ban it for school and etc.. --

No, I really don't. I tend to really dislike commercials.
There was one a few years ago though, a super bowl commercial i think, that was cowboys herding cats. It was pretty good.

That commercial was way long ago - that was an old EDS commercial. I know because I was working for them when the campaign came out. Over 3 years, they did 3 commercials for the Superbowl. The "cat herding" one was by far the best. My second favorite in the trio was the "running with the squirrels" that came out the next Superbowl.
As for my "favorite" commercial - as I collect them to take notes on them for an annual trivia contest, I have many. Probably mine was an old Bud Light commercial where just after Superbowl kickoff, you see an entire city go dark - power outage. You follow a maintenance guy running through the under-city tunnels and bursts into a room. Runs over to a refrigerator, and places something gently on a pedestal under a light. You see him slowly turn a turntable rotating the bottle of what is revealed to be a bottle of Bud Light. Then the blurry image in the foreground comes into focus to reveal a hamster in a wheel. When the hamster see the Bud Light, it starts to run, then we see the city lights come on - thus everyone can watch the Superbowl.
I've also been recalling the old Bud Light sinister penguin commercials (doo-be-doo-be-dooo) - loved that campaign.

I love the Geico hump day one with the camel. It is quite funny. Actually, I love the gecko, and most of the commercials associated with Geico. ;D

Thanks, I was about to post in saying the same thing. The Aflac duck with Guy Fieri as well. But as far as all time favorite I will always remember the old Wendy's "Where's the Beef?" That was the all time best ever!!!!

I like the commercial (can't remember who it's for-Nationwide maybe?) where it starts off with the guy hosing off an oversized baby in his driveway. Super cute!

I really liked the Direct TV ads but the last one or two that I saw I really didn't like. :dontknow:

I don't have a favorite commercial.I only watch commercials here on FC when I'm taking one of the TV commercial surveys.When I'm watching TV I usually have either the DVD player or VCR on at the same time,and I watch the DVD or tape during the commercial breaks.

When I was a child, my favorite commercial was for "Burger King". There were three ladies who sang,
"Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce,
Special orders don't upset us,
All we ask is that you let us serve it your way,
Serve it your way,
Serve it your way."
That was from the 1960's. Today, I have two; they are for Captain D's Seafood. The first portrays a man who pretends to cry because his woman is taking his shrimp, and when she puts it back, he says "Thank you". The waitress thought he was crying and he told her "I had something in my eye". The second is with a man and his daughter. He gave her a math question: "You have six shrimp, and someone takes away three. How many do you have?" The daughter says, "Six." He asks, "Are you sure?" and she says, "Yeah, I am sure. Nobody's taking my shrimp!" He looks at her and says, "That's my girl." After the commercial is played, he went to take a shrimp, and she says, "Daddy, we have gone through this", to which he responds, "You sound just like your mother." I also really like the Hershey Kiss "Wish you a Merry Christmas" jingle bell commercial. Always look forward to it around the holidays.

I like the AT&T commercial with all the little kids sitting with the man. The little kids are so cute and very serious. It's not complicated, bigger is better lol :heart:

i use to see this commerical where people look in the window and see themselves as babies and start dancing. It was too cute

I love those Snickers commercials where someone is having a bad day until they eat their Snickers. The before and after scenes are hilarious. Clever commercial.

My favorite commercial is the Progressive Insurance with Flo. She acts so silly and is very funny. The AFLAC commercials used to be really funny but lately they aren't as good as they used to be.

its a old budlight commercial where a couple are on a sleigh behind a horse and the girl is holding a candle and the horse farts and burns the girl. I havent seen anything close since.

Can't remember what the commercial is for but at the end the child is getting a haircut and says that is one jacked up haircut.

I just love this one too --- and all the ones they do are really great (the Pillsbury Doughboy on the way to a conference and being 'frisked' at the airport security checkpoint, for example). The camel, though is real funny and sure looks like he's saying the words 'coming from his mouth'!

I kept searching until I found someone who said something about this guy interviewing the kids for the AT&T commercial. It is so funny and sweet. So I totally agree with you greenthumbjan. It's one of my all-time favorites.
And hkckk5, the Geico spelling bee is also quite clever. I told that joke to people for a while until it got old. ;D
I don't like most commercials, and it's a real treat when they are clever and cute.
Anheuser-Busch (in St. Louis, MO for you non-Metro East people) used to be very good at making cute commercials with their Clydesdale horses. I'm not sure they will do them anymore now that they've been bought out by InBev.

I pretty much hate commercials, but I love the Mayhem commercials! Some of them are just so funny! I wish they'd make some more soon. Lol

yes, the one with little girl in insurance commercial, she is telling the "you can't hold on to raisins to long because they will turn into grapes" and he asks her "is she competing for cutest girl in the class" anyhow she says yes then asks where is she placed and she say kindergarten. sooooo cute. :binkybaby:

No I hate commercials !!! I mean some are clever or are kinda cute but I typically do not like and I also wouldnt say I like or have favorites
