Title: Are you getting a lot of Rain?
Post by: rosepedal64 on June 20, 2009, 07:09:26 am: I live in Kentucky and we normal don't get alot of rain this time of year. But this month rain has been almost a every day event. This really isn't good at all. It is hard to plan any outside events with not knowing when it is going to rain...Rain,Rain go away come back another month....

way down in the southeastern corner.
and yes, we've gotten a LOTTT of rain lately.

big storms the last few days,
tornado warnings and all of that.

Post by: SecondGoalie on June 20, 2009, 08:44:46 pm: Depends who you ask here in AZ. I am from Nebraska and I would not classify the entire rainy season total as a lot. One drop hits the ground and the news stations treat it as breaking news though.

Can you tell me exactly what rain looks like?........kidding........I live in the deserts of SoCal and it gets HOT here - weeks of 115-125 and it is the beginning of summer here.......that means electric bills will soon be $300.00 month........man, thats a lot of surveys :BangHead:

When I was in Florida, it rained all of the last week of May and first week of June.

It's been raining for the past two or so weeks, but it's on and off and the sun still comes up. It's just so rainy, although it does stop and brightens and the weather is still hot.

It will usually storm and we will have a good hard rain that lasts a few minutes. You never know when a storm or rain may come up. It just appears out of no where. It is really hot and muggy here. My mother and I went to Kentucky back in the summer of 2004 and there was heavy rain and a small tornado the first night we were there. The tornado did some damage and we got to see it. This was the only trip I have even been on when the power went out and it stormed.

It was supposed to be getting hot like a month ago and it is still in the 50's but sometime this week it is supposed to be getting into the 90's. I don't like the cold because I am from Arizona and it is a bit of a change.
