Title: What's the point?

What's the point of a survey that will take 15 minutes and pay $0.00? Aren't we better off just trying to "attempt" the survey and test out of it (to receive $0.01)? It doesn't make any sense to me.  :confused1:

Wow, I did not see that one, but you have a great point.  You are right, mrrangerrick, I probably would have went ahead and bypassed it myself.  How strange.

I had this one too.  I went ahead and attempted it just in case the zero was a mistake.  I DQ'd after the first couple of questions so I wasn't able to see if it actually paid anything or not.

I'm sure it was just a mistake like things that say they'll take 2000 minutes

Well I haven't seen that one and would probably just pass it by.

That's funny - wonder how many people will try it anyway? Not me.

If I ever saw this I would never attempt this survey at all. It would be a waste of my valuable time for not getting rewarded for my effort. I'd rather get an FC survey bonus for this instead by disqualifying.

I almost never get the supposed survey anyway.  So I click on all the surveys listed anymore after I figured out it might say a survey for Cat owners and you end up with a home improvement survey and the payment is totally different (and this was not "continue" to find another survey.

I have that one too. I have not attempted to see if it will pay anything.

I'm sure it was just a mistake.  The staff works hard to make this a great community.  No one is perfect.  We all make mistakes.

I've done surveys like that before and sometimes have qualified to receive a product to test.  So even though I didn't get paid anything to do the survey in that moment I was rewarded in another way.

That's an excellent point!  I've actually had that happen to me before so I don't know why I didn't think of it!

I think it may be a test to see if your paying attention.  Could be, and maybe to see if people will do surveys for free.  I can't tell you how many adds I see for a five hundred dollar gift card only to realize you have to spend that much to get  the card.  Many fall for it so yes they maybe seeing if you will do one for free.  God Bless

Oh now that's pretty funny.  I'm glad you brought that to our attention.  From now on when I attempt any survey, I will try remembering to see if it's a good use of my time.   ::)

I don't have that one, but I might have done it anyway just to see what happened. Who knows, maybe it would have ended up being worth a good amount.  ???

Hmmm! Some interesting thoughts on this. Might be worth a try if one has time to see what the outcome would be.  I need to attempt more surveys in general.

Just think how many people tried it to find out that it does pay 0.00    Maybe its a way for us to give a little back to fusioncash for all the good paying options we have.

That's the exact reason I don't do surveys!  They never credit!

Who can predict what how these surveys are going to turn out!!  I would be tempted like others just to see if the zeroes were a mistake or if you would get compensated in another way as stated above.  I really don't think any of us here are interested in taking surveys for free. There are too many other ways we could be spending our time here to make real cash. In any case, I found this thread interesting to see our member's thoughts on the subject!

I have wondered the same thing. I always start off my survey binge with the FC Surveys so I get at least a penny.  ALso, I have found that I usually qualify for at least one of these.  It is really really frustrating to spend 15 or 20 minutes and then fail to qualify.  There really should be a fail payment from these surveys and then maybe they would be sure to knock you out of the survey after 5 or 6 qualification questions.  I feel like they get the info they want and then they boot you out just so they don't have to pay.  That is just my private and unsubstaniated opinion.

i thought it was just mistake.
I DQ on some survey and they lead me to another survey without knowing how much the $ i will get. Then i get it anyway.

I completed this survey and turns out I didn't get credit. So I wasted my time completing this survey. Oh well.

That's what I think, too! I guess they get people interested enough to do the survey just out of curiosity. But not me. I dont' do most of the paid ones, so I certainly won't try a free one!

I guess after doing surveys for so many years, I don't even waste my time on trying to get whatever they are offering.   8)

I wouldn't have wasted my time personally hoping it would pay. I have a hard enough time qualifying already for ones that do pay.

I think it is funny that they showed how much "0.00" you got paid for.  At least it was honest.  I still think it was a test.  God Bless
