Money is tight here. I asked family members if I could get them some wrapping paper for their Christmas gifts that they are giving, they said no and reminded me that their gift still helps with share, celebrate and remind you of our Lord's birth, and told me it is a waste of natural resources. God loves me this I know.
Merry Christmas

Depending on your family, you could always make them cookies or something. Or, it's a little late, but do something hand made next year.
Honestly, that's really bugs me. Perhaps I read it wrong but it sounds so mean to say your gift isn't good enough basically.

I didn't buy any wrapping paper this year. I have enough to last me for probably 4-5 Christmases. Every year after Christmas I usually can't resist buying wrapping paper after they put it on very low clearance prices. I've done this a few years in a row so I am now loaded with wrapping paper lol! Same with tissue paper and gift boxes and bags. Anybody else do this, or is it just me?

I hve a lot of wrapping paper that i have bought over the years at sales prices like 80% off. I will never use it all. Sometimes i give give some a way. I took several bags and boxes this year of Christmas decorations, wrapping paper, ribbons and decorations down to the ministry of hope. They could use it there. They sell a lot of stuff but mostly just give it to those that cannot afford to buy it. What a great Christmas presents to me. Knowing some one else could use it.

Nope - I had plenty left over from last year. I always buy after Christmas when it's on sale.
-
I'm probably still good for another 2-3 years. If I see something nice on sale after the holidays, I'll pick it up real cheap - and these rolls tend to last me 3-4 years.
In a pinch, you can do what my brother did one year - stick the present in a brown paper grocery bag and staple/tape it shut. ;D

I didn't mean to state that. All my gifts received or given is all joyous And I mean (no-matter-what-it-is) ALL of them. Some of my family members really don't buy Christmas wrapping paper- please not be so serious when posting a happy somethings.

Merry Christmas
no have not bought xmas wraping yet

I could use some wrapping paper right now I ran out will get more I guess I have to. A better item might be something inexpensive to put on the tree most stores are having sales and the 99cent store has some cute things and tons of xmas bags.
-
I always buy wrapping paper after Christmas when it is on sale for 90% off so I rarely ever have to buy it during the Christmas season.
-
Didn't have to buy any this year. Still had some left over from last year.
-
I bought some at the dollar tree and the first I have had to buy in about 5 years, will look for after Christmas sales and restock.

I have lots of wrapping paper from past years which I buy after the holiday when it is on clearance.
I also re-use gift bags and tissue paper and gift boxes and bows.

used wrapping paper gift bags and boxes

I didn't have to buy wrapping paper this year. I had plenty left over from last year.
-
No I did not because I'm Jewish.
-
This year I used all the leftover paper from last year and for all my small gifts, I let my grandkids paint on little brown bags and used them for gift bags. They were really cute and cheap.
-
You can use tissue paper or newspaper if you want to save. Or just use bags!
-
no I did not buy xmas wrapping papew. I had some from last year.
-
I got some great wrapping paper at the local dollar store. One was Christmas Vacation themed while the other had characters from Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.
-
No. I have enough paper for the next 10 years. If I buy paper I get it after Christmas when it i son sale. I don't need any so unless it is super cheap and really awesome I won't be buying any this year at all.
-
Nope. I haven't bought any in years. I don't have anyone to buy for so it is a waste of money. The few birthday presents I buy are wrapped in the Christmas paper I bought like 6 years ago.
-
I did actually buy a 4pk from Wally. I can't see the sense in spending a whole heck of a lot on wrapping paper. It's so senseless. I got a tent for my son from amazon.com and paid for the wrapping- it came in a nifty felt back with a ribbon drawstring.... he's going to use it as a laundry bag... so at least that had a double use...rather tossing it in the trash.

As alway...I caught a sell at a know drug store chain and forgot all about the two rolls that I had left over from last year. I have so much wrapping paper leftover its ridiculous :). I had a Merry Christmas though all the same.
-
We didn't buy any this year because we have a lot left over last year. We bought like 7-8 rolls last time because it's on sale. :)
-
not me, nothing to wrap this year - but if I did, then I would have it covered as I have plenty of paper in stock...
-
NOPE because I always buy it when it goes on sale the day after xmas!!
-
Do did not buy wraping paper this year I don't wrap them I tape the bag shut.
-
No I always buy my wrapping paper at last years half or 75% off sales. Then I'm never faced with paying expensive prices.
-
Of course I bought some Christmas Wrapping Paper and would buy some more. :D
-
Yes i brough wrapping paper this year. God sometimes its expensive. But i buy when its on sale.
-
No, I didn't buy any wrapping paper this year as I had so much left over from past years. I never pay full price for wrapping paper as I always stocked up after Christmas when they were on sale. And right now, I still have so many rolls left over that it will be several years before I have to buy any.
-
I always buy after Christmas for the next year when it's cheaper.
-
No I didn't buy any wrapping paper this year. I had a lot of paper left over from previous Christmas seasons and probably have enough left that I don't have to buy any next year either.
-
I buy wrapping paper after Christmas when they're more deeply discounted. I have considered re-using wrapping paper from gifts received, but I keep forgetting to be careful and even then I don't think I have the delicate touch to preserve the shape and condition.
-
Yes probably one of the most inexpensive things you could buy during the holidays is wrapping paper. Bought mine at a grocery store called Winco but i only buy the stuff i think looks good not the real cheap crappy design stuff
-
We haven't bought any for several years. When we do, it's always several days after Christmas when it's marked down 50 to 90 percent off.
