i do both but bags are so much easier but not all presents fit in them so those i wrap

I do both, but I prefer to wrap the gifts. That way no one can sneak a peek at the gift. :snowman:

I use both,especially when I have a really odd shaped gift and I know that I will have problems trying to wrap it then I will bag it up. I use all kinds of paper for wrapping though. My most favorite is to use the comics from the news papers. I just like the way it looks after it is all done.Besides, I try to save money when ever I can. My kids are all grown and don't really caren what type of paper product I use to wrap up their gifts anyway.

I used to like to wrap most of my gifts and make my own pretty bows. This year though I think I will use mostly gift bags. I just don't really feel like wrapping this year. Lol. Still have not wrapped anything. Definitely need to get started tonight.

I use both. If it's a simple boxed gift, then wrapping paper, but if it's a strange shape then I put it in a gift bag.

I do both. I really am happy when I find a nice bag. I am proud when the wrapped gifts look very pretty. lol :party: :present:

I do both but I absolutely love gift bags to put a variety of goodies in. Plus they are reusable!!! wrapping :present: :present: paper is a waste of paper and money but kids love unwrapping gifts so.... i do it for the kids mostly :)

:present: Both - there are some odd shaped items which are almost impossible to wrap unless you can find a box for them. :present:

I like to wrap gifts more than use bags, its fun and a way to pass time when there isn't anything else to do.

I use both methods for gifts. Bags are definitely quicker; but wrapping a box and adding some interesting ornamentation is fun too. :present: :present: :present: :present: :present:

I do both, but I like to make special gift baskets using baskets, ceramic flower pots, to go bag like for make up or mens stuff. I like to make them look pretty, my sister says it takes to long and she doesn't even make some of the wrapping look good so what is the point just buy something and leave it in the bag and give it to the person. I just like to get creative when I can I don't care what the gift is for.

I used to wrap and this year I am very tired of wrapping alone especially at midnight and my so called husband sleeping. I argued and it turn out he wrapped by himself alone compared to me been wrapping gifts for 12 years alone...

I mainly wrap my presents, but when an item has a big and unusual shape or if I'm giving a lot of small presents to a person/family then I would favor a bag.

I really get into the Christmas spirit wrapping packages. I prefer it and lot's of embellishments which means $$$. It looks so much better though.

I usually wrap my gifts as I like to make them special with pretty bows and ribbons. I like to use the shiny foil papers as they just sparkle under the tree. The only time I use bags if I have an odd item that would be hard to fit into a box or if I have a last minute gift and don't have time to wrap it.

I use more bags for my gifts than wrapping them. Wrapping takes more time so I try to put as many gifts in bags as possible and wrap as few as possible. Love those Christmas bags. :)

I buy the gift boxes on sale, then all I have to do is add a bow (or not). I also like the bags.

I like to wrap gifts in paper or use other creative packaging ideas. One year, no money for wrapping paper so I spread brown paper bags on the drive way and spray painted them (had cans of spraypaint already) then used brown string and pieces of pine and cedar trees and rose hips for the bow thingy. But, I have to amit that I use bags for those funny shaped gifts and for jars of jams and othe home made from the kitchen gifts because they are much sturdier and easier, plus, I have so many collected from others and they hold up a long time. One hint though, I always put a little peice of paper in them when I put them away to say who gave them to me so I don't give them back to them the next year! That's just embarrassing.

I use to love wrapping gifts, but now I've gotten somewhat lazy. Gift bags are now my alternative. I have so many gifts to wrap every year. Call me scrooge, but I probably won't be wrapping gifts anymore.

I love the bags. However, I do both as well because your right some gifts just do not fit in bags. :)

I do a combination depending on the size or number of presents. If I'm doing a few small gifts I usually put them all together in a bag. If I have a hard to wrap item I will put it in a bag. But other presents I wrap.

i'm 19 and i live with my parents. This christmas i wrapped almost all the presents. my dad absolutely hates when my mom and i put gifts in bags. so i had to wrap every single present. which was over 300 gifts. -.-

For me it depends on what the gift is and what I have available to use. I do like to wrap things more than use bags though. It's just more fun to wrap them up and then watch them get opened, they're also more fun to open when they're wrapped too.

I wrap them simply because it is cheaper. Some are just not wrapable... then I will use bags.

I like to use gift bags...just saves some much time and money..especially if you re-use the bags from years past. Once in awhile my hubby still wraps gifts.

When I was doing the gift thing, I always used some pretty tissue paper and an equally cool bag with a tag hanging on it. I stopped wrapping gifts a longtime ago, it saved me a lot of time.

Our family has gotten into the custom of using bags - which we are very careful to preserve for the next year. We attach tags to the handles usually so that the bag itself isn't marked. We've been doing this now for probably 10 years as a way of recycling and avoiding waste.
One year I sewed a bunch of gift bags for all the family gifts. They loved them but everyone kept theirs and didn't re-use it as a gift bag. :)

I hate gift wrapping. Everybody knows which is my present because I always give it in the bag I purchase it on. For xmas I do make an effort to give wrap, but it is plain torcher for me. :-[

It really depends on the item's size or shape and what I have available at the time. I usually end up having to use both, however I prefer to wrap gifts.

I think wrapping looks nicer and more thoughtful (assuming the wrapping is done well).
But sometimes bags are easier too!

Just bags. I'm terrible at wrapping, and when I try I just end up getting ticked off.

But I love bags because I can reuse them.
So it goes both ways but I think that if you use a bag putting bows on them are always nice.
And if your wrapping clothes the box should always be taped then wrap the present, its more cute.

I wrap all my gifts I love doing it. I enjoyed watching them under my tree with different prints of wrapping paper. I even put my little gifts in a bigger boxes lol!

Usually I wrap them in wrapping paper but some gifts I have used pretty cloth material to wrap with. It workedmuch better than the paper wrapping because they had an odd shape to them.

I use gift bags and, so that the person who the receives the gift/gift bag can re-use it, I leave the gift card attached to the bag unsigned and put a separate card in the bag. :)

I've used bags sometimes, but I love wrapping presents and tying them with creative bows. If a bag is the best solution I can still tie it with creative ribbon work. :present:
