What are the stages of membership, for example what is next after newbie that I am and what determines how you get to the next level? Is it earnings, number of tasks?
-
It's based solely on number of forum posts
Newbie = 1 to 49 posts
Jr. member = 50 to 100 posts
Full Member = 100 to 239 posts
Sr. Member = 240 to 500 posts
Hero Member = 501 to 749 posts
Elite Member = 750 to 999 posts
Silver Member = 1000 to 1999 posts
Gold Member = 2000 to 3999 posts
Platinum Member = 4000 + posts
-
Thanks, that clears that up, but you think they would have some system of achievement for earnings and the like on the site with incentives like the tasks.
-
Wow, are there really Platinum Members posting?
4000 posts @ 30 average a month, that's a lot of posts!! Kudos if there are any Platinums about......

oldbuddy is the only platinum member that I'm aware of but I think there might be one or two more. That's lifetime posting though and he's been on here since 2007

The ranking is only for the forum. It really has nothing to do with the rest of the site.

Thank You! Right now, I know the Membership Status.

I just started a few months ago with fusion cash and I didn't know this until today thank you guys for this information.

keep posting everyday one to three and you membership will soon be higher. :)
-
Before you know it you'll be at a much higher ranking. When I started participating in the forum to get the bonus I noticed that my status got much higher.
-
I need to post more especially for the bonus for posting.
-
Post on the count up to 1,000,000 thread. It doesn't meet the forum bonus requirement in any way, but it will increase your posting count which will change your membership forum status. :monkey:

FULL MEMBER IS NEXT AND IT DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF POSTS :highfive:

If you are diligent with your 30 monthly posts you will move up the rankings in no time at all.

Newbie is part of the forums so the more post you do that is when you move up in levels but I don't know what difference it makes because it really doesn't matter when you are earning money on doing your cash items. But you can get a lot of advice and help here if you need it. I don't even know what my member status is. I know I have not been here very long maybe six months I am not sure.
-
At least these memberships are free.
-
Thats a lot of post for platinum, but I guess they do add up pretty fast. :)

Usually the higher the ranking the longer they've been on here. Pretty sure the only people with Platinum have been posting for around 7 years
-
I am pretty sure its how much posts you have made and i dont think there are any perks to stepping up in membership but it is cool to see what your status is.

I am not sure how you know what is your membership status, how does it make you money?

It doesn't really . It only applies to number of forum postings, but you are eligible for the forum bonus if you;re making a minimum of 30 contributory posts per month

I am a Silver member. I have been a member for 9 years. Happy Easter!
-
I agree it is nice and if you get to a platinum status that has to be for been with FC for a very very long time. I have a nice Silver memeber status and hope to get it to go higher with time.
-
It must be nice to reach those member status..even if you don't get paid anymore because of it ..it's a way of knowing that you achieved something great, congratulations everyone that reached their next goal!!!
-
I like the membership status. It makes me happy when I see it.
-
I do not really understand this membership status situation. How does it helps me?
-
So according to the levels that would make me a silver member. Nice!!!
-
Yay I just realised today that I have been upgraded in member status to junior level! I don't know why it makes me happy but it does..I guess it just makes one feel more appreciated via the forums you know? Congratulations to all others too! :rose:

I just started a few months ago with fusion cash and I didn't know this until today thank you guys for this information.
I am listed as a newbie and was wondering how long it takes before they remove the restriction on how many posts you can do in one day?
-
It is just to show how many posts you have contributed to the forum. I love the fact that we do get paid a bonus for posting on the forum. :in-love:
-
Congrats to all whose member status has recently been upgraded. My own status goes up to Hero Member tonight. This post is my 500th.
-
That's awesome mcornwell congratulations! I can see how the status can change easily if one does at least 30 elligible posts per month. Definitely a nice feature.

No there are no perks for stepping up in membership, however there is a perk to posting. I make sure I do more than 30 per month to earn the 3.00. I do more than 30 just in case some don't qualify.
-
I am still waiting for approval and credit for my postings for April. This is really nail-biting. After the first month 30 count, how can you tell how much you have posted the next month since the number just continues?

If you go to the paid to post page it tells you how many eligible posts you have for the month
-
this just answered my question lol
-
thank you, thank you ladavia89 for you help. I had seen the info before but could not figure out how to get back. You are great!

Every time I read a thread on this topic, I have to go search for one of my posts, to see what my status level is. I've made it to silver, and it doesn't feel like I've been here long enough to have over 1000 posts! (Time flies when you are having fun.) I think having the membership status levels is just another cool way that FC keeps its members entertained. It doesn't have any monetary bonus attached to it, but gives a fuller, richer feel to the site and may bring out the competitive nature in some people. It makes us family here, instead of simply a blueprint with steps to make money.
-
I feel much the same way pstovall, and congratulations on being a Silver Member! I also enjoy posting and really don't consider it so much a means to an end for the monthly bonus, but also a great way to meet people and make friends!

I guess I will be a newbie for a while. I don't think I will be posting 5000 posts. at least not for a very long time

Newbie ends at 49 posts so you could go up a level your first month. I'm at 132 posts for this month so you could really level up relatively quickly
-
You can keep posting well beyond 30/month. That is a great starting point and there is much more room to grow.
What level are you at now?
See if you can reach one level further each time!

Does this status level affect our membership on the forum?

No. The only difference is that newer members have a daily limit of 9 posts
