I've been so busy lately reading material in my field that I haven't done a lot of "just for fun" reading. BUT I picked up Faithful Place by Tana French and can not put it down. It has everything! Plot, suspense, multi layered interesting characters, atmosphere - takes place in Dublin - extremely gripping and well written. Have I piqued your interest????

I had purchased a copy of T. D. Jakes' "Healing the Wounds of Your Past". My sister in-law wanted to borrow it, but I misplaced it. To show you how strange it is, I decided to get rid of some clutter and found the book. I plan to complete it this time and may pass it on to her.   :star: :rainbow:

I just finished MIDWIVES by Chris Bojalian. It is a fascinating story about a midwife who helps a woman give birth, only to have the woman die because she can't get her to the hospital in time. A trial takes place in which she is accused of killing the woman because she performs a Caesarean section on her to save the baby's life. Surprising twist at the end.

I'm just finishing up the last book of Game of Thrones, but I'm listening to the audio book version whenever I can fit it ib ---- in the car, exercising, at home when no one is around.

I wish I had more time to read, but I am in the midst of reading J.K. Rowling's The Casual Vacancy, but unfortunately I have so little time to read that it's hard to remember what happened each time I go back to it. So far it's really interesting though, and quite different.

I can't relate to 'just for fun' reading. Never been my thing but I have read some good books lately. All about health and natural cures. I have a huge stack of them I have read in the past year and an even bigger stack awaiting to be read.

My book group just finished "6 Years" and I loved it. If you like intrigue and a story that keeps you thinking it's a great read. I couldn't put it down.

I am constantly reading romances( harlequin supers, historical etc) long as there is at least 250 pages. I also read the vampire stories along with my daughter. She has been reading the Vampire Academy books for a while now and after going to see the movie with her I want to read them as well.

Hmm.... well, I've read a few books recently: Something More by Sarah Ban Breathnach, Bridges of Madison County by Robert James Waller, The Hidden Power of the Heart by Sara Paddison, The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins, and I Am That by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. Going to be starting a new book but undecided on what it will be and also going to pick back up The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna.
