how can i make a lot of money selling aluminum cans? :heart: :star: :thumbsup: :turkey:

It would be hard to do.  It takes quite a few cans to make a pound.

the last one we sold were 50 cents a pound.  It also depends when you sell them how much you make. Summer time is not a good time to do that, to many people sell them then.

save them up for awhile, and call daily to the recycle centers to know you are getting the best price..they are 65c a pound here in southern indiana, and 68c if you have over a hundred pounds :thumbsup:

yeah its a pain in the butt saving all those cans, but its good to do it (even though I do not)

That's a good question. I would suggest a few ideas to do to your cans but that would not be honest. Although the more cans you collect the more money you make. Reminds me back home in the islands some of my relatives they would fill up the cans with sand then they smashed them before they take it in. But that is dishonest.

By gathering a lot of aluminum cans of course! Just kidding.  I set my goals on gathering an aluminum can per day or three hundred and sixty five cans per day. I rarely, if ever, pass by a discarded can without picking it up and putting it in a bag, in a box in the back of my car or my pocket. I also grab scrap metal whenever I see it lying around. I Take everything that has been gathered to the local recycler once a quarter and generally walk away with fifteen to twenty dollars (I exceed a can per day by quite a lot). Last year my wife and kids wanted to take in everything that I had worked so hard to accumulate and were sadly disappointed to find out it was only worth about twenty dollars.  They won't be doing that again!

Aluminum don't bring in a lot of money...it takes a lot of cans to make a pound after the shock of all that crushing.....Copper of steel....old scrap metal may bring in more money.....
