1. Adware came back after I was here yesterday. >:( >:(
2. I'm getting so many ads on different pages about "Hot Deals," updating medial player (its is updated), "you are the winner - no joke!", and plenty more.
3. This is the ONLY site that all these problems are popping up and I just can't stop and run the malware/virus software every 5 minutes.
If someone doesn't look into this soon, I'll have to leave. It's not only frustrating but it's downright aggravating trying to do jobs on here with these stupid ads flashing in my face.
Besides running the software all the time, I empty my history, cookies, and cache every few minutes while on this site. Doesn't make any difference. As soon as I try to do another job, it starts up again. >:( >:( >:( >:(
-
This is the only site you've having problems with?
I find that truly odd. If your computer was infected with adware it would effect everything and not just the one site
Do you have an adblocker installed?
-
pop up blocker?
-
Wow, sorry to hear that. I have never had any problems with it. There has to be a logical explanation for it. I love making the extra cash here and won't be leaving anytime soon. This is the best get paid to site that I have done.
-
I think you should try new malware software. Have you tried downloading the free malware software from www.malwarebytes.com and then running a quick scan with it? I usually find that works for me when I have the type of problems you are having.
:monkey:
-
Too bad to know that, i hope you can fix it and still hang around n FC :)
-
I found a simple solution to all that by doing all my surfing with Linux. You can even run it on a thumb drive and not install it.

Yep, tried malwarebytes. It worked once, too. Microsoft Security Essentials worked twice and I didn't have to run it. It popped up with the message about adware being in my computer.
I have been messing around with program after program and nothing has worked....well, they've all worked half the time. I just downloaded another program yesterday suggested by someone on the Google forum because of my frustration, and it found the same problem with the adware program.
It "killed" the program and removed it and to make sure, I immediately came back to FC. I could do the videos, tasks, and everything else without any popup ads or problems with anything else here, but since I'm no technie, it also removed portions of my Speed Dial that I love so much (it doesn't come up now even though it's enabled. :(
I am here again today and I'm still able to do everything with no ads, so hopefully, that problem is solved.
I certainly don't want to leave FC because it is a great site, but the frustration and stress over the past month was getting to me, especially since it was only coming from this site after I would try to do my first video for the day. I know it sounds odd, but I had no trouble at all with my MT sites, Facebook, newspapers, or any variety of other sites.
As for blocking popups, these ads popped up even with my popup blocker software on. This program was really nasty, so I'm hoping it's solved now.
-
I sympathize with your frustration, but I want to explain something that will hopefully help explain your experience.
Certain kinds of malware and adware will monitor your browsing and deliver ads and/or popups depending on the domain or page that you visit. Somebody who is making money from those ads simply targets fusioncash.net, and their popups appear, even though they're not actually placed on our site (hence your later ad-free experience on FC).
This really sucks for us, because we (understandably) get the blame for it, but we're not doing anything of the sort.
The answer, as others have said, lies in removing the malware/adware that is causing the problem. You may have to format and reinstall Windows, or take your computer to a specialist.
-
That really is too bad. Please see if you can get your computer repaired. Fusioncash is not to blame. I hope you decide to stay.

What is the name of the mal-ware program that you downloaded that solved the problem for you?
I'm not having problems (yet), but it would be useful to know what other resources are available that have proved successful.
-
I got that too but I think it was because I had accepted to do a study on downloading this software for extra cash that was suppose to earn me extra money every time I did a survey but it pretty much ended up giving me a virus. I could not even get through one survey without the ads popping up and closing down the survey. I had to uninstall everything and run malwarebytes and do a full scan and the next day everything was ok!
Hope this works for you and sorry to hear about your problem!

You asked, "What is the name of the mal-ware program that you downloaded that solved the problem for you? I'm not having problems (yet), but it would be useful to know what other resources are available that have proved successful."
I used malwarebytes, IObit Malware, Spy Hunter, and AdwCleaner. AdwCleaner is the only one that worked. The others took the program out for a couple hours or a day, but it was right back the next day.
When downloaded, it goes to your downloads folder. It doesn't show in the Programs folder, nor on the desktop even though I wanted it there. It must run in the background, not sure. I had to do a Windows Search for it and when it shows up in the search, then I just click on it.

I am going to repeat this again since it's so simple if you are not dead set against technology. Get an 8Gb Thumb Drive from an office supply store and install a free copy of Browser Linux on it. Once you get it running use the Firefox browser that comes with it and all your problems will be GONE! I don't know why people are against trying this, but I have been doing it for years and never had a problem with any spyware or virus. If I want to run Windows, I just stay offline (unless I am positive I know where I am going is safe). Fight it if you like, but it's the simplest answer out there and you only spend five bucks. If it doesn't work, erase the thumb drive and store pictures on it.

Norton anti virus

Thanks, sfreeman, for the AdwCleaner information. Though I'm surprised that the program didn't make itself available on your desktop.

By a thumb drive, do you mean a jump drive?
I'm going to try this because I can't access a bunch of items on my computer due to some adblocker I can't figure out how to turn off, maybe this will be a solution. I have an 8 gb one and a 32 gig one to try out.

Same device, thumb drive, jump drive, usb drive, memory stick. It allows a USB device inserted into a USB slot to look like any other drive letter.

I'm also going to do what you suggest just in case I have more problems. Thanks!

I'm sorry this is happening to you, I really hope it gets better so you don't have to leave FC. I haven't had any problems like this even though I have ran into a redirect here or there for some offers, but none of them have done anything bad to my computer. I think you should try a few more options before you give up. Best of luck!! :glasses-nerdy:

You have been given some good advice. I would try that before leaving FusionCash. Sorry you are having such an issue. I have Norton Anti Virus protection and I have had not problems at all. Norton takes care of any problem. I am able to view a daily report from them which shows what or who was blocked.

Which browser are you using ... I use Chrome and do not have those issues ... but if I use Internet Explorer I seem to have the ads problem .. could be the browser -- not Fusion Cash
-
I feel like thats occuring because of something else you may be visiting i have never had a problem with fusion cash as far as ad and being bugged. Hope you get the problem fixed.

You always have such great ideas!! I am going to try this....LOVE IT!!! Thank you for sharing this!! :notworthy:

That could be a different issue that you are experiencing. I'm no expert on adware/malware, but it seems to me that if they reside on your hard drive, then you will have problems no matter which browser you're using. ???

you can check if your computer got infect, FC may not be the reason

Chrome doesn't actually allow you to download a lot of extra like all the tool bars. So something may install as a toolbar and effect the other browsers with no issues using Chrome

I've never had a problem with this site. And the fact that it's this site alone seems a bit odd. It could be anything causing the popups. I get them, and it's not from this site, just internet in general. People try to hack into computers, maybe that's it..

Hoping that you have been able to solve your issues by now~

Since I installed AdwareCleaner, I've had no problem (knock on wood), so I won't be leaving FC. This program caught the nasty virus 3 times in one week last time I posted! I was so frustrated, I was ready to throw the computer out!
-
Hi Steve,
I am so glad the issues have been resolved. Happy Easter! Have a great weekend!
-
I am glad you issue got solved, honestly I have never have problems with FC, I use it at home and at work, and my work blocks a lot of stuff, never have they blocked FC. I believe it is something that had been catch from somewhere, I found a website that gave me a lot of virus cleaners that clean my laptop when my daughter download it something. Just go to yout Control Panel and make sure you uninstall anything that you do not know what it is and you do not want and need. And get a good cirus cleaner. Hopefully you stay here FC is the best.

I know that you can't download toolbars on Chrome, but adware/malware is another matter. Anyone that uses Chrome is not immune to adware/malware because it resides on your hard drive in sometimes hard-to-find places and can sneak its way onto our machines without us knowing it. What dwggs was describing above may just be a matter of having pop ups blocked on one browser, but not the other. In the case of the original poster, they obviously had a malware/adware problem, but didn't specify which browser they were using.

I'm going to try this. I have a few extra flash drives hanging around. do you have any problems with any money making sites, or offers, not working in Linux?

Once in a great while you get some program that insists on Windows, but I do a LOT of surfing and fulfilling tasks on Linux, including Fusioncash.

WOW!!!!!!!! DOUBLE WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SOOOOO SORRY HOPE YOU GET THIS SITUATION TAKING CARE OF AND DON'T HAVE TO LEAVE FC IT WILL BE ALRIGHT TAKE CARE
-
I had that happen after one of the surveys installed shop at home on my browser, see if you have it installed and uninstall it, that caused me nothing but headaches.
-
I hope your problems have been sorted out because it would be a loss to leave Fusioncash.
