I owned my own business for over 25 years doing medical and legal transcription. I had 4 doctors and one patent and trademark attorney, plus a local hospital AND a national transcrition service that I worked for until I was hospitalized. Now I'm partially disabled and with Obamacare forcing doctors to use mostly speech recognition and using EMR/EHR to put their records in a national database, medical transcription is not a very lucrative business, especially since wages have dropped from 12 cents a 65-character line to 4 cents and they are taking away the other benefits. It's a big loss and one I'm not willing to be a slave.

I am retired right now but I have worked in a bank, been a waitress, worked in a pharmacy, worked in shipping/receiving department, worked in a jewelry store engraving jewelry, and drove a semi-truck. I really miss working because I think it is so boring just sitting around.
