Title: ways to earn money on line
Post by: bettey13 on July 15, 2014, 09:44:34 am
I've been on line for a number of years, and have been looking for something reasonably priced, to do at home, so far no luck. I'm with a number of affiliate programs and again zip.
so, what's everybody doing to make extra money? What works, and what doesn't?

Reasonably priced?  If you have to pay them to do the work or to be able to participate you are not making any money and it is a scam.

As for making money online- other than sites like this unless you have an online business or sell on ebay you aren't going to make money online.  And sites like these don't make enough to pay the bills.  I make enough to make it worth my time to be on them.  Sometimes anyway.  Right now I am trying hard to get to the $25 threshhold to cash out on FC so I don't lose what I have.

I mostly use sites like FC and survey sites to earn extra money online. I'm done with affiliate sites, except for CopyPasteCash, because they just don't seem to work for me. I did all sorts of marketing that everybody else says works for them, but I never got anything. The only reason I'm staying with CP$ is because I have a lifetime membership and never have to pay again.
I also have a couple of Etsy sites, maybe if you do crafts you can look into that.

I don't know how many times I have said the same thing. but as time goes by and I learn more about how to market, affiliate options always seem to pop back up. After all, for those who are good at it, it's pretty much a perfect business model for most people. No investment, very little operating cost and high profits with 50% to 100% commissions.

I have discovered that not all the affiliate sites are bad.  I have not invested a cent, but I earn what I can by clicking.  Good luck.   :moneymouth: :moneymouth: :rainbow: :rose:

Like yourself I have been online for sometime.  OldBuddy I noticed left a reply and he is a good example of what can be accomplished over time.  I have noticed the time is the one element (factor) that most don't have the patience for.  Most what something easy that takes little to no work.  Then of course there are the many scams to watch out for.  FC is an excellent "safe find" that has excellent "Bonus Incentives" for referring others.  Owning my own free online marketing training program not only has been rewarding but a great challenge.  There are "many ways to earn online".   Building your skills and knowledge gives one the tools needed to make an income online.  Once one has the knowledge, skills and confidence that come in time with experience one need only add imagination.

I do a number of sites; FC, Inbox dollars, Send Earnings just to name a few. There's also the sites you get paid to sign up for through those sites like VIP Voice, Survey Spot, Vindale. I guess with good time management, which is something I don't possess, you could make a pretty good amount each month.

I guess I'm just not good at it. :) Even with such a great mentor to help me as yourself. I don't have much computer time, and it's sort of like gambling my time away in the hope that I might get a return.

Know how to market?  I ordered a cd (free) that was suppose to tell how to make thousands a day.  Yeah, I knew it was not real but I wanted to see what they were saying.  They even said we will do it for you for I think it was like 2 days and hurry hurry hurry we can't do this long we got to get back to making money for ourselves.  Anyway, the dvd was a bunch of drivel.  When you get to the end you order another dvd from them for like $20 which is how they are making their money.  I do not believe that millions of people can make $8000 a month working 20 minutes a day placing ads on random websites.  Although, I have heard a million times this is possible.  If it were then everybody would be doing that and nobody would go to a real job.  We would all just be rich setting on home playing on a computer.

Anyway, if there are any real ways to make some real money online I would sure like to know it.  I have tried several things.  Again, nothing where I have to pay them first.  And most you only make a few pennies a day.  I can find more than that in the Walmart parking lot.

Living on a fixed income makes it nearly impossible for me to get involved with any monetary investments. Several years ago, when I had a job, I was able to make some small investments and a few of them paid off really well but those days are gone. I don't see much in the way of real opportunities on the web anymore.

Most of the sites you mention, survey sites, you have to qualify for the survey and be able to complete the survey to be paid.  And contrary to what advertisers for the sites tell you your pay is a lot like this site...50 cents is a good paying survey and you spend closer to 45 minutes doing the survey than 5 minutes.

The trick is to have your own information product to sell and since PayPal has micropayments, you can actually earn a profit from a $1 sale and even have it delivered automatically (while you sleep).

I do surveys, watch videos, answer polls, click ads, play games etc for a little extra money every month. I am also a promoter with a company called Le-Vel. We offer a product line called Thrive. It is free to join and there are no fees. I am trying to get into affiliate marketing.

The way of life my husband and I have chosen to live for the last 3 years is anything but traditional.  We left our full time retail jobs to work for ourselves.  Doing lawn maintenance and landscaping.  It's been a snail crawl start.  So to fill in our dead seasons and time when we've not yet locked accounts to keep us out in "the field" for 8 hours per day we both work online.  Between the 2 of us we've got to registered with a few hundred sites.  These range from PTR, PTC. surveys, focus groups, savings sites... when we redeem for amazon what we purchase we sell on ebay.  It's a lot of work... however what isn't if you want to be successful.  And as stated... it takes time.  Just like waking up and going to work for 8 hours does.

Almost all significant money earned online is through sales. It can be affiliate marketing, Ebay, Amazon and so on.
Even offering a service involves marketing and sales. If you can make at least a dollar a day without selling, ie FC,
you can use that money as seed money for higher paying ventures.

I belong to a few websites. a few I can list on here. these are not my referral links because I am not going to break the FC rules. I use cashcrate, quickrewards and bubblews. I use small point programs like chatabout pinecone research and mintvine. these have all paid except for the ones I have not cashed out at. which are chat about and waiting for a check from cashcrate.

There are lots of great sites to earn money online.  I made $800 last month and $900 this month.  I always say, if you treat it like a job you'll earn money like it's a job.  It's a lot of work but it's worth it!  Survey sites like Valued Opinions, Pinecone Research, MySurvey, GlobalTest Market, ChatAbout...  If you spend a little time doing research, you'll find lots of great sites online.

lol.  I wish it were like that.  I am actually pretty desperate.  There are NO jobs in the area I live in.  I spend quite a bit of time looking for jobs (real jobs) online, looking for online work, and survey sites and sites like this one.  A few pennies a day doesn't cut it.  I can tell myself it is a real job but it does not earn me $10 an hour no matter how hard I try.

I had a full time job and I still wasn't making $10 a hour. It didn't make it any less of a real job that I was working 11 hour shifts at $8.75 a hour . Online can become a significant amount of income if you really put the time, effort and sometimes money in but you can make a decent amount while looking for a job. I probably make around $250-$400 a month doing various survey sites without paying for anything or having referrals. I probably could make more if I was willing to put more time into it but I'm a college student that would like to keep a social life

I am a member of a ton of sites.  Several survey sites.  I don't know how anybody can make that much doing surveys.  I have seen claims over and over where you get paid $95 for a 5 minute survey but that is foolish and totally a scam.  I, personally, when I do qualify for a survey am lucky to get 50 cents or it is points and then the points can be redeemed for something like an amazon gift card.  But amazon gift cards don't pay bills.  I have spent a ton of time looking for online sites to make money but have had no luck.  Although I have run across people like yourself who say they are making a ton of money and could make more if they wanted to.  But, in the past, when I specifically asked where and how they were making so much money they either could not tell me, would not (which leads me to believe they were lying), or when I looked at the site myself the claims they were making were simply untrue.  I am not saying you are lying I am just saying until I saw it for myself I would have a hard time believing it. lol

I'm talking about just sites I get paid through Paypal and checks. There are some other sites that I get amazon and gift cards that I don't really count because I only cashout towards the holiday to buy gifts

I'm an active member of several sites and often are doing multiple surveys at once. I guess I'm lucky and often fit the demographics that surveys are looking for. I try to attempt as many surveys as I can because I never know when I'll qualify.

I usually luck out and get a lot of product tests which pay higher plus you get something free.  Right now I'm testing alfredo sauce and body wash. In the past I've gotten things like soda, coffee, creamer, feminine products, perfume, frozen pizza, etc.

You can look at my proof of payment bonuses and see I've made at least $50 a month just on here with my highest over $80.

I also get paid for having things downloaded on my phone and computer. (one site pays $1 per week per device and another $5 per month per device). I also have an app on my phone that charges you money for not working out or eating a certain amount of fruits/vegetables and you get paid from the people that fail to meet their goals.

I'm not saying I'm getting rich because I only make as much as I did working part time but I get to do it from home often in pajamas and blasting my music. I'm able to afford to pay my cell and internet bills, eat out, and shop

Fusion Cash is one of the best FREE sites to earn cash.
I LOVE affililate sites.  I have earned thousands of dollars as an affiliate.  Not saying it was easy, I have learned how to market online.  You must have a list.  Don't have a list, use one of the many viral mailers or safelist for free and use their list.
If you invest the time, you will make money.  Most people get caught up and jump from one thing to another.  Find something you like then learn how to market it.

As the old saying goes:
If you think you can't, you are right.

I was thinking of creating a website and include many affiliates. FusionCash will be included. But what about other companies? How to weed out the bad ones with low commissions or monetary returns? How do you know if a banner will bring high commissions?

I have done some of the paid to call things but the ones on there now are too personal.  Like the one for car insurance.  I called but ended up hanging up.  I am not giving my DL number, home address, and every thing else they wanted.  And you have to actually get a quote to get paid.  I looked at another one and you had to stay on the line for 5 minutes.  I was not interested in the plumbing services just getting $2. lol.  So I did not call.

I do think that the most enjoyable and probably profitable way to go about it is to make crafts and sell somewhere online like Etsy. I don't think anyone mentioned 5in5nowsurveys, but they're good too. You get 10 cents for surveys you end up not qualifying for, but you do only get paid in gift cards. However, you could swap those for real cash with friends, right? I've thought about doing that. lol I'm astounded people are able to make so much through survey sites but I guess a lot of that has to do with referrals too.  :) :rainbow:

Possibly.  I have only referred friends a couple of times.  Most of the times they either never join or join on their own and not thru my referral (had that happen) or they join and never do anything so you do not get any credit from them.  :(  grrrr.

I have racked my brain looking for online and off line work.  And I can't make crafts. Not to sell anyway.  I have made some candles but after I just add in my cost I would have to sell for so much no one would buy and not count any time.  Then I have problems getting most of mine to burn down.  Most times it just burns down a little around the wick and goes out.  I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Here's a tip: The highest demand product online is INFORMATION, so say you wrote an ebook all about candles and sold it for a couple of bucks to people asking the same questions you are? Your cost is time to write it (YES YOU CAN), time to create an ebook cover (free), time to post it online (free), link it with PayPal (free) and get some traffic to see it (also free). The only payments you make are when you sell one, then it's only about 15% of the profits. Could that make money?

I was looking at a website presenting websites that give you surveys for cash. Make sure you put it through scamadvisor.com because some of them have come up as red. I for the most part am looking for cash. Anyone have a good idea?

You can't pull a good profit with just one survey site.

That was my intent, just make sure you do it on what your potential prospects want and not just your own desire. I just got back into this myself and in 2 days I sold three ebooks. If I can help you in any way look me up.

I'm not doing an affiliate site, it's my own product and I don't need to share profits with anyone but the small fee I pay PayPal and the autopilot delivery system.

Being an affiliate simply means being a commissioned only salesman for a product or service. You market it and if you get a sale, they pay you part of it. If you develop your own product, you can sell it and keep the money for yourself, or you can even get affiliates to help you so you get a lower share as you sell more.

The actual writing of an ebook is simple, just get Libre Office Writer ( a free download) and type it up. When it's finished export it as a PDF file and you have an ebook to distribute. That's the easy part, but if you get in touch with me off the forum I can help you with the rest so you can keep more of the money.

It's wise to be careful, but you don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water. How can something free be a scam?

So you would say have a link to a product and get people to let you put it on their site and every time someone clicks that link and it leads to a sale you get a few pennies?  I got a CD for free in the mail about that.  It was a scam though.  In the end they wanted me to send them money.  They were saying you just go around placing ads on websites all day and can earn thousands a day working 30 minutes or less a day 3 times a week.  I was not born yesterday.  Besides that you have to have permission to put ads on someone's website.  I have done some web design and set up websites and people could not just come in and put an ad on MY site.  And if they did hack my code and do so I would have immediately deleted it and reported them.  As would most people.  So that does not sound legit.

As long as it is really free.  I have looked into things before and it starts out "free" but to really get into it you have to pay someone $20 or so.  Thus how THEY are making money.  People are in a desperate state.  People cannot find jobs or if they do they are only working 10 hours a week which will not pay the bills especially if it is a single person.  And if they do not have kids they cannot get welfare as a subsidy to help out.  In other words people are more likely to fall for something if it sounds awesomely true.  The deal I am referring to sounded great but this CD I ordered and got for free was just a bunch of hoopla and at the end to make "real money" I had to send "them" $19.95.  I did send them an email telling them what I thought about it though. lol

So the bottom line is it cost you nothing and that's the way it should go. Pay attention and you can usually spot the scams with no problem. Even better, get your own products and don't do that to other people.

i invest my money at global ad share.  it is 100% daily passive profit share.  invest a little cash and earn daily.  invest your time promoting and earn even more.

p.s.

i didn't give my referral url, so this is perfectly all right to give my personal opinion on what works and what doesn't.  it is a popular program because IT WORKS

If you have a good selling product youtube can actually help you and you can make extra money with youtube. Also multiple sites is good. Still these websites are like extra cash their not like a part time job. Keep that in mind.

It has NOTHING to do with not being good at anything, you just don't have the knowledge yet and that can be learned if you hang around the right people and develop a sixth sense to see the good in all the guts and gore.

I do make money online other than fusioncash. Having Affiliates is a bonus with this company. If you can copy and paste.
