Why is it that no one seems to actually understand what Obamacare does? So many people complain and say it's horrible and act as though the only thing it can do is "waste our tax dollars on lazy people without jobs". Am I the only person that understands that it can be a good think for a lot of people?

i think it is also going to be a good thing --i have already seen it help people who couldnt afford insurance --

Obamacare likely saved my life. With pre-existing conditions, I couldn't qualify for health insurance. Just months after signing up I wound up in an ER and having two heart surgeries.
All covered by Obamacare.

LOL Like roads and bridges and public schools. You use those, no?

Did you go to school? Because that was paid for by someone else.
Do you drive on roads? Because not just YOUR tax dollars pay for those to be usable.
I can guarantee you that you know someone that has been on foodstamps or some other government program that has helped them get by. Government programs like Obamacare are meant to help people.
Or would you rather have us use people's tax dollars to "help out" other countries instead of taking care of the people in ours?

It actually hits more close to home through increased premiums, not tax dollars. My premiums went up over 60%, and my coverage actually isn't as good as it was before. What Obamacare was meant to be, and what it actually is, are two different things.

It is a good thing, so many people that were unable to get insurance because of pe-existing conditions, cost etc.. now have it; that is a good thing for everyone, I truly support it while I am blessed to be retired and can still get insurance through the local school district I was employed for others do not have that option. I always had good access to healthcare during my career and continue to have ;in this country everyone should have that availability and Obamacare provides that.
