Even as an adult, I still like the old cartoons. The Flintstones, the Jetsons, and even the Roadrunner. BEEP! BEEP! The new Saturday morning cartoons are not worth watching to me. Maybe we could write to Nickleodeon requesting a Saturday Morning Oldies time slot.

My husband and I were just saying we missed the older cartoons.  We love yogi bear and were trying to remember the name of the cartoon with the souther swamp charachters.  There was a crocidille and a muskrat.  Anyone remember?

You're not old, I remember those cartoons too. Also, Wally Gator, Huckerberry Hound, Auggy Doggy and Doggy Daddy, Yogi Bear, Super Globetrotters, Hair Bear, Top Cat, and Ricochet rabbit.

when i would babysit when i was younger,
sometimes i'd bring old cartoons of mine or even
movies because 1) i hoped they'd fall in love with
them as much as i had, and 2) i was really sick of
the new big, bubbly, computerized cartoons day
after day...

they were so bored with them! i didn't even tell
them that they were "old" cartoons because i knew
they wouldn't give it a chance, but it didn't matter.
they were very much un-enchanted with the velveteen
rabbit, puff the magic dragon, etc :(

i was a little heart-broken myself.
