I really think going to Florida is the best place and beaches there are very cool. I need to save for next year vacation.

I like to be in a cold area... Russia, Alaska, Greenland, or Canada

anywhere there is a ocean or gulf :) love the water and have to be near it !!!!

Have you considered going to Puerto Rico? I've been there and it's a great place to go.

I think the best vacation is a cruise to the Carribean. I love the cruise ship and all the great service you receive, and the beaches are fantastic.

I live in NY.As i have gotten older i got to really enjoy cloudy cool days.I think there is a certain serenity to them.I even dont mind a little rain here and there.
Ive never been to the west coast.Northern Ca or Ore seems to intrigue me.
Sadly i hate flying.........long train trip eh???

Great wolf lodge in Penn. is the best place for vacation, I think. I've been there before. My family liked the place a lot.

Sincee we just got back from the beach in Washington today, that's what is fresh on my mind. Actually I liked everywhere I have been and we now go 3 or 4 times a year since we retired.

If you just want to kick back and relax, one of the all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean are terrific! There are very good restaurants, pools with swim-up bars, and of course the beach and water activities.

My family goes to the Outer Banks in North Carolina on vacation. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. We always have a restful and relaxing week. The Outer Banks is a wonderful vacation destination for vacationers of all ages.

I think that the Virgin Islands offer the best place, in the world, to relax and enjoy the world at hand. No cellular phone access. No WiFi. No work. No worries. We shared the cost of a rather large boat with three couples and cruised around the islands for ten days and have the memories of a life time. We started in Tortola and went to at least eight different islands. We enjoyed a day at the baths where there were gigantic rocks to scale and knee deep water wo wade through for hours. We went fishing and ate our own catch. We found Island bars that mesmerized us with a calypso beat. We went scuba diving in ancient pirate wrecks and saw all manner of underwater creature. Definitely memorable and not too costly.

I'm supposed to be going to Vegas in November but I can't wait to make my way to Hawaii or Jamaica.

I actually think the atlantis in bahamas is the best place to visit. Has lots to do for adults and kids. Lots places to eat and you do not have to leave site.

I actually love to go to Mackinaw City Michigan, then cross the bridge and visit the upper peninsula. There is so much natural beauty to be seen in this area.

I'm not much of a gambler but I've been craving a trip to Vegas, which is weird since I've never been there

Truthfully, I just want to stay at home... when I was younger I always wanted to be on the go and my "go" has been and now I just want to "stay"

Northern California is one of my favorite places. I live in Utah so it's pretty special when I can experience the ocean.

you can almost make anyplace fun...but it really depends on how much you want to spend and what type of climate youre interested in. Hawaii is great...but visit Maui, California and New York are amazing...do a road trip...even a hike you can explore this beautiful country...

I spend 6 months of the year in Florida, yes those are the colder months, lol. We love taking cruises, the value for the dollars is awesome, we will be taking one the end of November, can't wait. 8)

On the Blue Ridge Parkway or in the Rocky Mountains would be my 2 favorite places to go.

I like a lake resort where you can go fishing, kayak, build sand castles, have a bonfire, jump on the water trampoline, or relax with a good book while sipping a nice glass of chardonnay and catch a few rays.

My favorite place to vacation is Puerto Rico ---- mainly for the great food, beaches and family still living there. :)

Hilo, Hawaii is now my vacation destination of choice. It is absolutely gorgeous there! It's on the Big Island and there is so much to do and see on the Big Island. I was amazed at how reasonable prices are on the Big Island ~ once you get there, of course. The flight over is the biggest expense. I am looking at houses to rent for our next trip back over. I didn't realize how reasonable it is to rent a house there as opposed to the hotels.

Somewhere hot with a pool and a pool float, also with great restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinner. And then a large medow or field so I could sit in a porch swing with coffee or pepsi and look out over the sun as it goes down or the moon.

If I am going to vacation, I would like to go where there is beautiful nature to see. The ocean, mountains, etc.

it really depends, if you like the cold and your talking domestic... i would say Aspen Colorado. If you like the warm and want to get out of your element Jamaica is awesome :)

I think a cruise is a great vacation. You get to go to a couple of places and while you are on the ship, you are treated like kings and queens.

I like the west. I like going to see all the sites in South Dakota, Wyoming, Ect. This will be my forth trip out that way this year. :)

I like to go on vacations where you get to see natural wildlife and scenery like Alaska, or Macchu Picchu in Peru or going down the Yangste River in China.

I agree, Florida sounds nice. I want to go to California, mostly Los Angeles, for the warmer weather.

If I had all the money in the world i would travel to Europe. I am from the United Kingdom but never ventered to many parts of it. I would love to see the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Castle in Germany, the Eiffle Tower in France, to see some of Venice, Austria and Belgium. I didn't really have the money to travel when I was young and now that I am older, I don't have the money nor am I the right side of the pond! I've been to London many, many times, it is spectacular!

I actually like the island of Kauai better..... there are less tourists and although it is a small island, there is SOOOO much to do on it! And it's absolutely gorgeous! And they have wild chickens everywhere! That's crazy!

Iplan on going to the Grand Canyon. They say pictures just don't give you the awesomeness of the view. I still don't know what all I will do. There is horseback tour, plane or chopper tour.I know I will be doing some hiking. Don't really know how many days I will spend there either. I just know I'm going. BMaston12

I live in Florida but I still would love to take vacations in Florida in locations other than where I live. I really want to go to Amelia Island and I haven't been to Key West since I was a child. I hope my life changes to a point where I can go on some vacations maybe with my sister-in-law who is also a widow.

I just told me daughter that I would like to take her to Italy for her high school graduation. That's in 4 years so I have time to save and plan. I always just went down the shore with my family for a week and I was perfectly happy with that. Every few years we would go to Disney in FL or we went to Aruba. I'd like to go to Hawaii, Australia, Denmark, England. Lots of places I'd love to go, very different places

Last year we went to Myrtle beach and this year we are going to Panama City Beach. I have been to PCB once and it is very crowded but they have a really cool 4 hour wild dolphin swim that we are planning on doing this year. Pretty excited.

Taking a cruise to the Caribbean is lots of fun! Swimming, eating, and shows on the ship. Then depending on the ports of call, there might be lovely beaches, snorkeling, sightseeing, etc.

Anywhere that I can be alone without cell service or WiFi. Just me and my thoughts. At the moment I would prefer a private island.

If you are taking kids, I think any place they can learn about our history here. Lighthouses, caves and things like that my kids love!
I live to just stay right here in the US with my kids.

Anywhere can be great if you can relax or do things you want to do and have fun! I'm a beach person so that's my first choice but I'd love to go to Europe

Beach is the WORST vacation I can imagine. I am not a fan of "sitting and relaxing" and I don't like sand or the smell of the ocean, lol.
I prefer the mountains!

I want to go to Paris. I always want to go there but never have a opportunity to go. There always a thing that happening.

I really want to go to New Zealand one day. The people I know who have gone always rave about their time there even though it's a bit on the pricey side. There are also a number of places I would love to go in Europe that I haven't been to including Spain.

We're planning to go to the Holy Land Experience in Orlando, Florida. This should be a great trip, especially since we don't have to drive. We're riding on a charter bus.

There are many, many places throughout the world I would love to visit. If I ever win the lottery my days will be spent traveling. But as corny as it may sound to some, Disney World is my most favorite place to visit. We were fortunate enough to visit several times. The last two visits we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas (part of the Disney Vacation Club) located very close to Epcot and Hollywood studios. It was the best. I will treasure those trips forever. Love, love, love Disney World. ! ;D

By far the best vacation spot I have ever been to is Las Vegas. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go back!!!

I like exotic and tropical locals so Costa Rica is at the top of my list. I also like nature so Yosemite, the Grand Canyon are also up my alley. :thumbsup:

it kind of depends on my mood but here lately i have been craving family alone time without distractions of everyday life like phones computers and tvs so somewhere remote would be nice.

I just came back from the west. I went to Yellow Stone, Badlands, and Glacier Park. If you like sight seeing, that is a great vacation. :thumbsup:

I live in NC and I've been up in the mountains only once and it was amazing! I went during the spring of 2014 and it snowed in March. it was so much fun! :D

Have you try taking a cruise? My cousin has gone to 2 of them and she loves it. I was going to one last year, but my father passed a way and we didn't go after all.

Any place that is quiet. No kids, no grandkids, no constant noise. Two of my adult children and 2 small grandchildren live with me now, and I love them dearly with all my heart, but I'm so tired of the constant noise!! LOL!

Well I live in Florida and I just as soon stay here or go to the mountains. But due to health issues I don't know if I will be traveling anywhere which stinks but I'm just as happy as home anymore. 8) If I did feel up to going to the beach I'm only 30 minutes away from a famous beach in Florida.

There are lots of great places for an excellent vacation. Two of my favorites are to go camping on Prince Edward Island in Canada and to go to the beach at Cape May, NJ.

The two vacations that are on my bucket list are New England in October and a Caribbean cruise (did one years ago as a teenager, but want to go again as an adult with my wife). There are many others that I would enjoy, but these are the two at the top of the list.
I live in Sandusky, Ohio which is a mini-destination for many in the summer, so I try to enjoy the vacation-y tourist parts of the area as much as possible while still staying in the comforts of home. We will also be going to Ocean City, MD every three years for the next 10 or so while our daughter is in competition dance as her studio enters the competition there every third year.

I haven't been everywhere yet, so I can't say in general where the best places are to vacation but I think it depends on what you're going for. For relaxation I'd like to hit a beach. My family and I spend the early part of this year in the mountains. Some people may want to relax in a slow town and others may want to go to a fast paced city to get a taste of big city life. It just depends on what you're seeking.

2020 I will be taking 3 international vacations. I don't know where they will be yet, but I'm currently thinking Costa Rica, Dubai, and Jamaica among other options. In the meantime I'll continue to explore this wonderful country of ours.

I have only been to Florida and South Carolina for vacation. I prefer Florida. The beaches are so pretty. We are thinking of going to Paradise Island, Bahamas this year or next.

Florida has lots of bugs in the summertime. A place to go with a really nice summer climate is Prince Edward Island in Canada. It has great camping facilities, an amusement park, and great beaches. Another really fun place to go to is Alaska, particularly Denali National Park.
