I admit to being one of the older generation so I am new to shopping Online....
I'm curious to those of us in FusionCash, do you shop online? Yes or No
If yes, what stores do you shop online?
-
I prefer both equally. I like to shop at some stores both online and at the actual store like walgreens and walmart.
-
i shop alot more online --i just think it is so much easier than fighting with the people in stores --and it comes right to me front door and i dont have to go out
-
I do most of my shopping online. But for things like pants and shoes I go to the store. With stuff like that I want to make sure it fits.
-
I prefer to shop online - no crowds or traffic! I do most of my Christmas shopping online from various stores. My family usually gives suggestions as to what they would like and it's easy to find an item right in the store they mentioned or somewhere else online.
-
I usually do both, but I prefer to do my shopping online sometimes. But, it really comes down to what I'm shopping for and what is more convenient for me. Black Friday and Christmas shopping, I prefer to do that online instead of having to deal with the crazy crowds.
-
I like to shop at walmart and shop online at amazon and ebay.
-
I used to buy stuff online all the time, but lately I haven't because of all the hacking.
-
I do shop online, and the sites I use are Amazon and eBay. I sometimes shop online at Walmart too, but through another website so I can get cash back.
-
I do both...it depends on what I'm inspired to look for. In some cases I see something I like in store then find it on ebay for a lot less.
-
I am shopping online a lot more now too.
I found a cash back site with thousands of stores in it so I can shop at stores I know and trust and get cash back on the stuff I am buying anyway.
I bought cat litter, toilet paper and stuff like that from Walmart and earned 7% cash back and got it delivered to my door with free shipping! To me, that is saving time and gas money since I didn't have to drive 30 miles to town to pick up that stuff.
We also shopped Home Depot for 8% cash back!
I am exploring for Christmas gifts now....Levi's 12.5% cashback, Kohl's 8.6%; Apple Store 7%; Best Buy 7%, Macy's 8%;......I am beginning to get excited about SHOPPING for Christmas now!
-
I too am new to shopping online, but I find it to be nice and things are cheaper on line. I have only shopped at two stores online Walmart and Palm Jewerly.
-
I do a lot of shopping on ebay because they have some good item for good prices. Plus the thrill of bidding on some of the items. There is trick to that and I have not lost a bid yet nor have I paid a lot for my item. Walmart online I shop because they have items online that is not available in store. I like shopping online especially with free shipping. I do go in store like kohl's or kmart. :)
-
It depends on what I'm going to buy. Sometimes I prefer online shopping over shopping in the store because it's convenient, especially during the holiday season. Too much hustle and bustle. One of my favorite online stores is Amazon. Other times I like to shop at stores like Walmart because I can usually find multiple things in the same trip and don't have to go to different stores.
-
I prefer to shop online. The only thing I wouldn't buy would be clothes that I think I would need to try on to see if it would fit.
My favorite by far is Amazon because they have a little of everything.
-
I shop both ways. If I want something quick and convenient or the item has a possibility of spoilage, I get this in store. Otherwise, I tend to do a lot of online shopping for the potential cost savings.
-
I usually do most of my shopping with Wal-Mart online. The only thing I buy in the store is groceries and things I pick up when I happened to be there.
-
Love, Love, LOVE shopping online. I get to avoid the hoards that way, and often the prices are better.
-
I am of the old school and like to touch and feel the material before I buy clothes. But I am finding it harder and harder to get clothes I want. So I have ordered off the catalog. Guess it is time to start ordering online. Take my chances . I know other people who do and have had good luck.
-
I shop in stores only when necessary. It's much easier to shop online providing you know exactly what size a person needs; otherwise it's useless.
-
Food - Physical Store
Anything else - Online
Deals are good when shopping online... I also received 6 free Keurig boxes when Amazon accidentally sent me a duplicate order... Contacted them about sending it back, but they said in their policy they can't return grocery products back, so they told me to keep it
-
I shop both online and in store. When I shop online I usually shop at amazon or ebay. Ebay is always a pretty good deal b/c you can find items that charge no shipping and no tax.
-
Some things I buy online other things like clothes and especially shoes I need to try on so I prefer to shop for those in person.
-
Food is purchased in a physical store, but everything else I purchase is bought online.
I prefer shopping online. I don't have to drive 35 minutes into town. Saves time, gas and money.
-
I shop online a lot more than I used to, it is very hard for me to physically walk through a store. I do my grocery shopping instore, but most everything else online.
-
I love to shop online. I need to stop shopping online, because I need to save some money.
-
I like to actually go in a physical store and shop. Although, I will shop on Amazon, but haven't lately because of the economy. I dislike going to Walmart, but when you're inside the house all week, Walmart is the "highlight" of the week. My son like to go shopping or anywhere outside, so we prefer shopping outside. Sometime we will go out of town or to a new store just to explore.

I love shopping online. My favorite stores to shop are Amazon, Jewelry Television and the Liquidation Channel. Each stores has great deals. :)
-
Well I will always perfer the physical store fir most things but I have been shopping alot on amazon lately and its been so convenient for me.
-
Not as much as shop in the physical stores. I love to browse online alot, then look and buy the stuffs in the physical stores. I love to get the stuffs that i buy rightaway :)
-
I do both. I like the ease of online shopping but there are some items I prefer to buy in a store.
-
Like many others here I do both. I live in a relatively small town and sometimes it is more convenient, if now cheaper, to order online and get the items shipped. Many companies I deal with now have no shipping charges on a particular minimum amount. We order a lot of books from Chapters/Indigo online this way (we wait until we have enough for no shipping charges before ordering). I am even willing to pay them shipping/handling charges if the total on those is under about $10 as it would cost me at least $20 in gas to go pick them up at the nearest store to us. Walmart in Canada is not charging shipping costs on a lot of their online stuff. I don't know how the online prices compare to the in-store prices but sometimes just more convenient to order online.
It is not really practical to order everything online so when we do go to the nearest larger cities around us we will do in-store shopping as well. Also, we will buy some things in town to support local businesses if their prices are not really too far out of whack.
-
It depends on what it is I'm shopping for. If I know that I can't find it in a physical store, I'm shopping online for it.
-
I do both, I can always find a better price as well as a discount coupon to make a reasonable price even more reasonable online, while I don't mind doing the same offline as well.
-
I shop a lot online, there are lots of deals then in store ;D
-
I actually do both..some things are more convenient online and having shipped to you..wish i could get all my groceries online,but...maybe someday
-
I do both. Most clothing I buy in store unless I'm on ebay and the sizes are listed.
-
I shop online mostly for Christmas.
-
I enjoy shopping both in store and online.
For clothes and shoes, I'd rather buy in person, however I do love JustFab (an online shoe store).
-
I like shopping online but I tend to worry if my personal information is secure enough online. At least when I shop in a physical store and pay cash I don't have to worry about my identity being stolen.
-
I do a lot of shopping online, with FREE shipping........ I lived in Colorado for 12 years in a very small town, so it was just more convenient to do the shopping online, after the kids were in bed. When we did go into the big city it was to see the lights and the Christmas programs going on. I could always count on JC Penney, then a lot of the specialty stores (sporting goods, fruits).
-
the only store i shop at online is amazon,,,,,and ebay,,,
-
I am also of the older generation, and still prefer to shop in the physical store; but I will shop on line depending on what I am looking for and if I am buying a gift from someones registry, I will do do it online. So it just depends, I prefer the store but am not oppose to online shopping.
-
Anything I can buy online I do because I don't like going out shopping at all - groceries I have to go out for and that is bad enough.
-
I never shop online. im saving money so I only get basics anyway. just grocery store and Walmart basically.
-
Yes I shop online for toys and sometimes clothes at websites I like and trust. I don't buy food or general supplies online. Shipping can kill you.
-
I mostly shop on Amazon now tbh. I go to other stores for clothing and groceries, but yeah.
-
If I am shopping at Wal-Mart, I shop online most of the time. The only time I don't is if I have to buy groceries or I need something right away.
-
It really depends on what I'm shopping for. I shop for clothes, groceries, and everyday items at retail stores. I shop online for holiday items and components for my computer. I prefer to go to the store to buy crafting supplies for my cross stitch and tatting but the craft stores around here don't always have what I need so I end up going online to buy whatever I couldn't find in the store.
And books are a different story all together. If I know I want a specific book, I'll buy it online(or on my Kindle) because it's generally cheaper. But if I'm looking for a new series/author to read, I find it easier to browse the shelves at the book store.
-
I shop mostly online now because I am not really able to shop in stores because of my health.
-
I don't think it has anything to do with age, it's all about not wanting to get knocked side ways trying to traverse thousands of people. I have always preferred shopping online. I find some good deals-lower price, free shipping, no tax.
-
I do almost all of my shopping online except for groceries. I buy clothes at landsend.com and chicos.com, yarn and other supplies for knitting at knitting-warehouse.com, toys for the kids in my family at amazon.com, and all kinds of stuff on ebay.com. I usually only buy when there is free shipping involved so I don't feel guilty about not going to a physical store to buy.
-
I usually shop online during the holidays, but a friend of mine told me that if i went to Walmart (for instance) and wanted to buy something, to check the price online line and you could possibly get it cheaper than the store price. I'm lovin that.
-
I do more online shopping then going out to buy stuff.
-
I do both, especially for holiday gifting. It just depends on the prices, item availability, and shipping dates.
-
I do shop online a lot because you get som many sales anymore. I love groupon who has great sales.
-
It depends on what I am shopping for, but I definitely like online shopping because you can usually find better prices that way.
