The justice system is far from being just. I don't know what the difference is, I guess the other girl had a more crooked lawyer or something.

Hensley stop trying to figure out the unjust system here on earth. It is run by imperfect men.I just read in the Daily News about a week ago how someone did 29 years for a crime he didnt committ.

If anything focus on helping your daughter to turn her life around.Love never fails says bible.I tell you that and question it myself.I have a son for the past 15 yrs driving my wife and me crazy in and out of jail.We havent given up even tho i will admit i am tired of his crap too.

Again focus on love and discipline for her and saying a prayer to God never hurts either.

in my experiance judges can rule by whatever they want to i appeal my long term disabilities  termination of my benifits they terminated me becausr i can walk sit and stand, i can not stand for more than three minutes can walk about fifty steps and can sit up ten minutes   the judge totally ignored the fact that all of my doctors say i am not fit for work my meds keep my drowsy i cannot drive because of the way i am injured sleep most of the time i cannot work eight hours a day five days a week i have tests that show i am injured i have permanent nerve damage in my lower back and the judge said i did not prove that i am unable to work  therefore my long term benifits were terminated makes no sense whatsoever

Moonangel....there is FREE advice from lawyers advertised all the time.If you feel you are being screwed and you can back it up many of them might take your case.

I am in no position to judge.....but the injustice of those that deserve to be helped and NOT does annoy me...especially when so many scams exist.

Look into finding a lawyer for free and explain your case.If you deserve the benefits i wish you well!!

I don't blame you for blowing off steam.  I'm sorry your daughter has to spend time in jail.

It also depends on what they do.  I know a lot of people who have long arrest records but it's mostly for petty stuff like traffic offenses.  I'd rather have someone who gets in trouble for just doing small stupid things than someone who committed a felony to get that much time

The judical system is far from perfect.  I know 2 young men who got a few years in prison for something they did when they were just barely 16.  They were sent to prison and treated the same as if they had killed someone.  It's just not always fair.

Betcha the girl up the street is a CI. In that case, she'll walk every time unless she murders someone.

My son's ex-wife's 1st husband was a CI and no matter what he did, he got out of it with probation but after 30 years of it, they (the cops) finally got tired of it and slapped him hard. He is now in federal prison. He only got 2 years but betcha when he gets out, he'll have a lot to tell the cops about the "friends" he made in prison, if you know what I mean.

So what exactly is a CI, please?  ???

I have never heard that term before.
