Which online store do you shop more, or do you like better? Why do you pick it over the other one?

I've never had much luck with ebay but I do order stuff off Amazon every once in a while. Especially around Christmas time. I've found it easier to do that as opposed to driving 35 miles to the bigger town to shop.

I like amazon.com better than ebay.com because I can count on the item being new and in good condition. But I don't like it that amazon has raised its minimum for free shipping to $35 in purchases. So if I need something quickly that costs less than that, I usually turn to ebay and look for free shipping there.

While E-Bay may be a way to get a "bargain at auction", Amazon delivers no matter what - so I choose Amazon.

I like both, but I do use Amazon more. The items are new and I never had a oroblem with sny item.

I prefer amazon.com because I, personally, think it is safer than using eBay. I've had some bad experiences on eBay and didn't use the site for a very long time. I made my first purchase in almost 3 years there a month ago. Thankfully, the seller was amazing and I got what I ordered amazingly fast and shipped to me for free. eBay is really only a bargain when you can find free/low shipping auctions. Otherwise, it's easy to pay just as much, if not more, than the cost of the item just to ship it.
I would rather use amazon because I know what I will be getting is new, I won't be taken advantage of and if something does go wrong, they have excellent customer service that fixes the problem ASAP and to my satisfaction.
I don't have a lot of extra money to spend but if I am going to buy something online, I'd rather pay a few pennies more (and sometimes even get items I am guaranteed are brand new cheaper) on amazon then take a risk with my funds.

I like ebay better than amazon, Ebay has a lot of free shipping. Amazon has some messed up shipping policies. I dont understand them

ive only used ebay. I don't really shop too much so I haven't used it in awhile. I don't think ive ever used amazon.

I like them both but I buy from ebay more often. I also sell things on ebay as the seller fees are a lot less than amazon.

I go to Amazon most of the time. But I will check out eBay to see if I can get a good price.

Forever an Amazon person. eBay's alright, but I prefer Amazon.

I'm addicted to both. Ebay is probably my favorite for hard to find thing.

I have used both, but use amazon.com more, lately I have found out that ebay's prices are as hi as amazon and their items not always are NEW, but depends on what I want to see where I go hunting for it. what I like the most of ebay is the fact that you can use your paypal account, not with amazon but in general I will go with amazon.com

To me Amazon I just find it much more east compare to Ebay.

I shop more in Amazon... Lot less scammers (well to me) and the prices are cheaper in Amazon

Iam not a fan of ebay I find it harder to search for items I am looking for they also quality isn't always the best.

I tend to do more on ebay, but will check both out. I really like ebay and have had a lot of good deals!

i tried both..prefer Amazon. a lot of the bay's stuff looks like the content of people's desk drawers...but they also have stuff that Amazon does not carry

I compare prices between the two and usually (but not always) Ebay is cheaper. It's a common practice for people to take items (the pictures & descriptions) off Amazon and list them on Ebay at a higher price (so they get a profit). Usually if you see a pic on Ebay with a white background.....the same item can be found on Amazon cheaper. I learned NOT to buy Amazon items (pictured with a white background) off Ebay because those Seller's typically don't know their products & they don't care when they send you the wrong item or if it gets to you at all.

I shop on Amazon more. The reason is because I earn Amazon gift cards from some of the paying sites I use.

I love Amazon, that is my go to for so many things. I also am a prime member, so I get free 2 day shipping on most items. 8)

I have never shopped online with Ebay. Amazon is for me every time. I online shop quite frequently from Amazon.

I like to shop on both Amazon and Ebay.com, but I would stay that I definetly shop more on Ebay and I also sell there, so maybe I am bias

I use amazon.com more because they have been a lot more reliable than ebay in my personal experience. The items are just in better condition and arrive on time. Again thats just in my experience :)

Actually I like them both. I shop with both of them. What I do is, if I'm looking for something I look in both places to see where I will get the best price.

Take a look at overstock sometimes you can get the same stuff with free shipping.

I prefer Amazon because you can find just about anything on there and you get reviews of people who have bought the items as well as reviews of 3rd party vendors.
On ebay, only the sellers get reviewed not the actual products that they sell. I don't like that. I want to know that what they're selling works the way they say and that it's legit.
They're so many knock-offs on both sites that you really have to read the reviews and buy from known good vendors. I normally buy fulfilled by Amazon products because it reassures me that I'm getting the real thing and quality. :thumbsup:

I jump back and forth to price shop. Amazon usually has excellent prices; however, I might get free shipping on eBay on an item priced less than $25.
Sometimes I have an Amazon gift certificate from one of my earning sites that I want to redeem. If I don't need to buy something for myself, I might liquidate the gift certificate by dropping shipping something from Amazon, after I list a specific item on eBay. That way, I end up with money in my PayPal account.

ebay it easier to return items the only time that i ordered off of amazon i ordered the wrong size of medical equipment there was no reason at all why it could not have bee switched out for the right size. the people would only give me 70 dollars of my 120 dollar purchase plus a 40 dollar restiock fee so now im down to getting 30 dollars back which to return the product would cost me 45 dollars and then to get the right size costs 180 dollares i will never work with them again

I used to shop eBay a lot of years ago. I prefer Amazon now. At least with Amazon I can use their gift cards or a credit card. With eBay you have to deal with PayPal. Besides that, I can find way more on Amazon than I ever did on eBay.

I like Amazon best, it's my absolute favorite online store. Although lately I've been getting some better deals from ebay. However, mostly shopping on Amazon doesn't cost me much, since I get so many free Amazon cards for doing surveys.

Amazon is by far the best one over ebay. It is so much more trustworthy 100% guaranteed at amazon i can not say the same thing for ebay.

I have always found the best prices at eBay and bought many items from them. I always get my sons video games cheaper then Amazon and cheaper then Game Stop !

I do both. Which ever the cheapest. But mostly I found more stuff on Amazon. I get a lot of gift cards there, so I shop on Amazon more.

I haven't really tried Ebay that much, I have heard mixed reviews. I have used Amazon and it seems good, quick and easy.

I use both but to me very different. I shop (and sell) on Ebay with the thought process Ebay started as, a great big multi-person online yard sale. Now there are a lot of retail stores selling. But when I shop I am looking for "second hand" items. Many things I have bought as such were never used. My rule is to not pay more than I can re-sell it for. If I am buying something I need a guarantee or warranty on I will go with Amazon and get it "new". I haven't been to the mall in years! In fact last year I even bought a tv from Amazon, they beat Best Buys price!!

I haven't worked with Ebay but I am getting to be a big fan of Amazon. I suppose it may be good to check out Ebay as well so as to make a fair comparison of the two.

I shop on both but more on Amazon. I can almost always find what I'm looking for there. The site is good if you have to return an item - twice when I had a problem I was told to not even bother returning the item - and I was sent a replacement or a refund.

Amazon because I dont want to have to "bid" on what I want. I want to just buy it and get it shipped!

For the most part I prefer Amazon, their prices are generally better. There are a lot of people who actually sell on ebay and order the product on Amazon and make a profit, that tells you something. But, Ebay can be great for certain things, especially used and hard to find items. So, they both have their markets. But if you want something new, definitely go to Amazon.

I like Ebay because I'm able to use PayPal, but my preference is Amazon, they have a lot more to offer and I get 2 day shipping with prime.

Amazon just for the sheer customer service. They are 100 times better in customer service than ebay is.
