Has anyone else tried the Walmart savings catcher program, it is great. So far I am
Getting $4.17 cash back.
When you shop there, see the information at the bottom of your receipt, sign up
for it online and scan your receipt in your phone and in 3 days they will let you
know if any competitors beat their prices, if they did, they will give you the
difference.
I don"t know about you, but I love saving money💸💸💸💸.
-
I have not tried the Walmart Savings Catcher program. Sounds like another fantasitc way to get cash back!
Some people like Sam's Club and / or Costco.
I prefer shopping online and having the choice between thousands of stores.....Walmart, Target, KMart, Home Depot, Dollar General.......the list is huge and the % cash back can be as high as 9%
I have lots of stores to explore yet....
I have $19.84 in my cash back account from just shopping at Target and Home Depot for stuff I had to buy anyway....
seriously, I got cash back on CAT LITTER that got delivered to my door free of shipping charges....Saves me time and gas money!
-
I use this as well. So far I have about .94 but it will add up.
-
I'm signed up for it and so far I have 8.16 but I'm not sure how I'm susposed to get it. Says can put on e-card but I'm not sure what that is lol I'm hesitant to click on that option, afraid I'll get to something I can't make sense of and mess up my 8.16. I'm concerned I would need to print out the e-card thingy but I don't have any ink in my printer. Anyone know more about it? I'd appreciate any advice on it.
-
I downloaded the app and have got almost $3 back.
It's kind of like Fusioncash... it doesn't SOUND like much, but just watch it add up!
-
Oh heck yea saving money is good - I don't have a smart phone though so I don't guess it would work for me? Oh well never-the-less it was awesome of you to share this information so others can save $$$$ too ! :moneymouth:
-
I recently saw this advertised and was thinking was it something you would really make hardly any money on, but I see it might be something I need to try. Sounds for real and glad to see some of you are profiting. Maybe I can also. I think I will give it a try although I only shop at WalMart about 25% of the time. Can you use this app for online orders also?
-
Not tired it yet, but I've heard its good. They really do good price compare and return back. Althought I am not sure how do they refund back the money?
-
I have tried it...have cashed out once and used it, and found out for a limited time if you get the american express bluebird prepaid card, and put your earnings on there then you get double the money! its fantastic!
-
I was just in walmart seen it advertised and was just wondering how that worked
-
I have not done this, but would consider it in the future. I don't shop at Wal-Mart much because it is on the other side of the town where I live.
-
Wow! Awesome!! I'll look into it asap! Thanks for the tip!
-
Funny I just saw this thread today & earlier this morning I just entered my 1st receipt on the Walmart Savings Catcher site. I'm still waiting for the results of the savings but so far I REALLY LIKE it, it saves so much time vs. "ad match"!!!
-
I have heard of this before but it slipped my mind before I got around to signing up for it. Thanks for reminding me.
-
I use it. So far I've only received 60 cents.
-
I saw an ad about the program on tv but never paid any attention to it, I don't even know if my phone will scan but I'll definitely go look for a receipt I'm bound to have in my truck and give it a try.
-
I never tried but it sound really worth investing in program. Thanks.
-
I think that the Walmart savings catcher program is really a great thing I submitt all of my receipt and my families after every shopping

An "e-card" is a gift card that comes to you via email containing a "code" that you would enter on the website when you buy something. Much like you can buy an Amazon gift card and either get the gift "code" through your email or get a physical gift card in snail mail.
-
I have been using it since mid August and I would say it is great. I've gotten $47 in cash back. I plan to keep using it.
-
My sister told me about this a couple of months back. It's a pretty cool app, I wonder why they don't advertise it more? ???
-

I'm guessing that means an emailed walmart gift card.
-
How exactly do you sign up for it? do you have to have a smart phone?
-
No, a smart phone isn't required. You can also use the website on a computer to sign up.
-
Oh WOW, that sounds good to me. Thanks for sharing.
-
I use it and have saved about 15 dollars so far.
-
i found it a few weeks back..i think its cool..you can either scan your receipt or you can enter it online..
-

no you dont have to have a smart phone..you can sign up online at walmart.com and enter your receipt number from there
-

When you log into your account you will see the option to TRANSFER THE MONEY TO ECARD. Click this and it will do so. You will be sent an email with in a few hours that contains the ecard. Just print this out and I cut my card down to the size to fit in wallet. And take to Walmart and when you go to pay give them the card and they scan it and it will take that much off what you owe.

Yes, it will work for you. Go online and set up an account. When you have a receipt log into your account online and manually enter the info.

If you buy from walmart.com you can also use the money there. But if you use the card at a local store you have to print it out.

You do not have to scan it. You can manually enter the receipts on your computer.
-
I have $2.44 so far. I really hope to get more, but I tend to buy a lot of Great Value brand.
-
Sounds great, gonna try it!! thanks
-
Have not tried it, but Iwill
-
I use it and have around $10 saved up. It's easy enough to do, so will continue to use it.

You cannot get a regular gift card via snail mail. You can print out the ecard and have them scan it at the register.
-
it sounds great. I like to save money as much as I like to earn it. :)
-
I love it, I have got about $25 in the last 4 months with it.
-
I haven't used it yet. I do not have a smartphone :( but I have heard its good
-
Didn't even know about this. I shop at Walmart about 50% of the time when grocery shopping, so I will be checking this out. Thanks for the info.
-
Finally, we can even save more money with Walmart Savings Catcher program.
-
Since you recommended it, I signed up. I entered 4 receipts from this week. So far I've earnt a big fat zero but that just demonstrates what good value Walmart already is. I'm pleased you suggested it, I had been meaning to sign up a few weeks ago when I first heard about it. It's only a matter of time before I earn money back so , thank you!
-
I wish we had that option in Canada.

Keep entering those receipts, I have sent in 8 straight and made nothing, but in the past few months I have made around $25.
-
I wish we had that option in Canada.
They will probably introduce it there too eventually unless there are rules against it in Canada
-
I moved my money to a e-card so i will print it out and take it to the store in a few days and spend it. There is another option for us about doubling our money, but you will have to read it on the website. It is very detailed.
Like i said, saving money is a good thing.🏧💶💷💵💰💸
-
Thanks I had not even seen that I will be signing up after I get done here on FC.
-
I might look into this. I shop at Walmart sometimes. :cat:
-
I love the Walmart Savings Catcher Program. My sister told me about this program she has been using it for a while now. I just started using it this month and so far I got back $14.44. I was so excited. Looking forward to saving more with Walmart.
-
Yes, I have found this program .. I scan the receipt from my phone app ... I love it .. it finds sales in places I would never even think to look ... who would have thought CVS had dog food on sale .. LOL
-
I'm just not a big fan of Wal-Mart.
-
I never heard of this program but I'll try it out in a couple of days. I don't shop at Walmart much, but now I'll go more. I love saving money too. :)
-
I use it but I deleted the app because I only have .80 cents one time and tried to scan all my receipts all the time and didn't get cash back again.
-
I guess I didn't hear this program. I don't go at Walmart too often as they're not too close by, but this sounds interesting to try as extra money always helps.
-
I actually just downloaded this app the other day but have not been to Walmart yet to try it. Looking forward to trying it and hopefully building up some extra money.
-
I do not have it since my phone is not "smart phone" but I am about to go get an updrade and then I will get it, it sound like a great way to get cash back.
-
I use Walmart's savings catcher and I haven't had much luck yet. I suppose it could be that Walmart is typically the place for the best deals in my area. But I also use Ebates to shop online and I've only started a few days ago and already have about $10 in cash back.
-
So far I've earned little over $15 but haven't converted it to the e-gift card yet. Was kinda disappointed about this last receipt I scanned in. I bought a Jenny-O turkey for 1.28 a pound and Kroger's was running same brand for .98 a pound yet the Savings Catcher didn't give me credit for the difference. Still, guess I saved time by getting everything at Walmarts but don't understand how they could have missed the turkey price difference.
-
As good as it sounds, I absolutely refuse to shop at Walmart. I'll find other ways to save money.
-
I don't think the savings are substantial, but they do add up,.
-
I've been using the Walmart Savings Catcher for several months now; so far I've gotten little over $30. I enjoy getting a little back. My brother finally downloaded the app but has only gotten $.65 back but says he'll keep using the Savings Catcher.
-
Walmart is not the most convenient store for me, but if I did happen to visit, I would like to take advantage of this offering. I don't go to Target as often either, but I would love if they did this as they're more convenient.
-
I use it but don't have much saved up. Maybe like 50 cents. I don't shop as much as I used too.
-
I have seen this advertised a bunch of times on TV and I thought it would be something that you could hardly make any cash back on. As of late, we do not go to Walmart as much as we used to. Still, the Walmart Savings Catcher program does sound great since we go shopping at Walmart for certain things. I may give this a try after reading the posts here. Thanks for the information!
-
I have over $17 saved! It works!!!
-
Sounds interesting, how does not work?
-
Yes i have tried this but after four months only 1 cent cash back
-
Click on the e-card and that will send a request to activate and walmart will mail u the card. It will have a bar code on it. Print it out and take it to the store
And tbe discount will come off.
-
Yes I have used the Walmart Savings Catcher program. It's really simple to use. You just scan the bar code at the bottom of your Walmart receipt, enter the date and it captures the information. You can then read your receipt on your smartphone. They then email you within a couple of days to advise you if they were able to find any lower advertised prices in your local area. Since I've been doing this, I received about $25 back in about six months. It takes very little time and I guess Walmart have a history of your purchasing trends which helps them enormously.
-
im not using it..........
-
I use it all of the time. Love it. I have received 20 dollars back so far. I have the Amex bluebird prepaid card that I have my savings put onto.
-
I find that you have to spend a lot to get a good payout.
-
We do. We use it and place it on a card. When it builds up I will use it towards groceries.
-
I'll have to give that a try next time I shop there!!!
-
i have tried it but I have only been there once since I heard about it. Got a big $0 back on that visit. But I will be using it when I go again.
-
I absolutely love this program .. I don't always have time to comparison shop so it's nice to know that if something was cheaper at another store Walmart will refund me the difference. I love this program
-
I have heard of the Walmart program but i have yet to try it. Does it cost any money to sign up for and use, how does it work?
-
That is interesting to hear walmart coming out with another new thing. I always like to compare prices and I always go shop at walmart. All I do is gather produce ads from other store and compare prices at walmart. Saves me gas and money on products.
-
I have got back about 10 dollars over the past year. I guess it is better than nothing.
-
I heard about the program and immediately knew it was for me but unfortunately at the time had an old phone and couldn't participated. I've since then upgraded and intend to download the app (?) soon.
-
Wow !!! that sounds exciting. I always shop at walmart. Almost there every weekend. I really need to try it. Thanks for the
-
I've saved a few dollars here and there on that
-
i wasent that impressed with it..........
-
I have tried this and have over $10. Have a good day. :D
-
I really am not fond of this program. My phone does not have scanning capabilities. Why couldn't they just keep the ad match program instead of doing away with it?
-
I haven't tried it so far, but I dont feel like it's effective enough to actually be worth using.
