I've stopped making resolutions, but I want to lose weight as well. I think the best and cheapest way to lose weight is to walk around a track at a school. Or if it's too cold walk around a mall. Make small changes and you will eventually lose weight. Good luck.

i tried doing a realistic, and different but still fun, resolution this year :) my resolution is to educate / learn about other countries and their foods. so once a month we are going to make dinner from a different country around the globe (I live in usa) and learn about the country, like little fun facts

I participated in a poll this morning, the results of which were that 44% of the respondents made New Years resolutions this year and 45% did not. (The rest haven't made up their minds yet). I made the same one this year that I make every year (to lose weight) plus added one (to try to stick to a regular schedule of running every other day for exercise).

you should start walking...walk a little further every day or a little faster.  its a good way to start and get you into shape. rest on sunday or on a seventh day.  good luck.

Hey hensleyll, I didn't join weight watchers but used the internet to find the count on different foods and kept track knowing I could use 29 points a day and I lost little over 20 lbs.  I did get tired of not eating sweets (my fav or all favs) so now I've put it back on. lol

I plan to lose at least 10 lbs in 2015 with exercise and to do more fun things in 2015 than I did in 2014.

I normally dont make resolutions but some goals are:
pay down my mortgage
lose 5 - 10 pounds
earn more money on FC
live a healthier lifestyle - eating more fruits and veggies

Okay, so were are one month into the new year.  Anyone besides me not keeping up with there resos?  Mind was to not judge anyone.  It is really really hard.  I can keep my mouth shut but my thoughts are a little harder to tame.  Maybe overall if I keep trying I will be a better person by the end of the year.

I don't make any false promises like that, there's no need to lie to myself and everyone else by exclaiming a "resolution" that isn't going to be stuck to. Things happen, circumstances change. I try every day of every month of every year to make personal changes and to maintain myself in what progress I have made. That's what really counts, and I don't think I need to proclaim any intentions to others so no resolutions for me. As for your desire to lose weight, you don't have to pay anyone anything to lose weight. There's a lot you can do on your own, and ultimately whether or not you lose weight comes down to you and only you anyway so save your money. Good luck in your quest for weight loss!  :)
