Yes, Kay0338, Off-Topic posts count as long as they meet the Posting Requirements:
- A contributory post is one that offers some insight, makes people laugh, carries a conversation, provides information or help, or something along those lines. It's not spam, or an attempt to make money for oneself, and it's not short or missing content

Posts in Word Chains & Countdowns don't count because it should be mainly just short things and copying and pasting. . Posts in the general off topic and debate and discuss will count.
Posts on the promotions board also don't count towards your 30.

For some reason I was also under the impression that 'off topic' did not count toward your 30. It's good to know that they do go toward the 30 posts. I like to read and post in 'off topic', cause it's different and interesting.

I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one Berthabutt :) It'll be a lot easier to reach the 30 posts now that I know I can post in the off-topic area.

i have never had an issue with my posts counting.. i know there was a user awhile ago that would post the same question over and over again... no those type of posts we were told would not count!

yes, chazman... just popping in to say hi or posting the same thing over and over won't count... the purpose of the bonus is to encourage people to contribute help, etc. or make useful suggestions/chat

Yes off-toptic posts count. Just click on discussion boards and click on off topic and discuss anything you like.

I'm really glad you asked this question. I had no idea that they counted and I think it's great that they do! I haven't had a chance to visit that section of the forum, but it sounds very interesting and I can't wait to check it out. Thanks again!

you bet it does. That is my favorite section of the forum because people come up with the craziest things there. I do stay away from the political part of the discussion board. My views are to not liberal to deal with it.

The site put a bunch of people back to restricted posting because they were doing all 30 in less than 48 hours so I wouldn't advise that

I would assume that all post counts towards the 30 post per month, unless that the post expires...or is locked...

yes they Do!! Any post that is at the qualifying length counts towards your 30 posts a month! I love getting paid to post, its so easy.

To check how many eligible posts you have: Go to the Accounts page, on the left under Profile and Settings, go down to Forum Posting Bonus and open this page, next to the Posting Request Form, Fusion documents how many eligible posts you have for the month. This might help.
By the way, I don't know why it matters how long it takes you to reach your 30 posts as long as the content as not absurd and obviously posted with only the count in mind! Often, those stand out because after you read them you say to yourself, "What's that about?" Short, no relevance to anybody, etc!

As long as you do a good, contributing post to the topic, it should count towards your 30 per month goal.

as you know by now off topic posts count torward 30 minimum posts for the monthly forum bonus. the most important thing about the posts is the content just yes or no or one word answers are not recommended. be sure to expand on your answer.
also like everything else consistencey is key if you do 2-3 good content posts a day then by the 15 th of the month you will have plenty of good posts to choose from for the forum bonus :heart: :peace: :wave:
