I like both occasionally I have long hair but presently I have short hair. It seems to be much easier to take care of then long hair.

Well I had long hair during my high school days it went down to my chin was pretty happy with it but the problems with clipping it up when I eat or working out just got in the way and when I wake up a ton of cow licks even though I wear a hat when I go out. I liked having long hair but, I went for a 2 Inch hair cut so I am okay with both.

As long as I can remember I have always had long hair. I guess I'm so use to it that I can't see myself with short hair, so for the answer to your question; long.

For me that all depends. If it's a woman, some women look real nice in short hair. And some look great in long hair. But overall I think women can get away with having different hair styles more than men.

I always feel like I've lost a good friend when I cut my hair. :sad1:
I've tried it many times and always grow it back out.
Psychoanalytically, there must be a name or condition for that, but I don't care. :P

I have had long hair, but a lot of trouble to take care of, so I cut it all off to short style.

mine is a little longer than shoulder length now...would love longer hair...but i try to keep it at or just below my shoulders....i have thick hair and was told by drs to keep it shoulder length to prevent my migraines....they said it was pulling on the scalp because it was so thick and was causing headaches..

My hair is currently down to my waist. I'm waiting for warmer weather to cut it all off. What was interesting the last time I cut it short and went to wash it the first time I put the same amount of shampoo on it as I did when it was long.
I am ready to get it chopped off. The shorter the better. Have to find someone I trust.

I usually have it long for years and grow it out to about my waist and then cut it all off and start over again. I get tired of it being long, but then when I cut it, I miss having it long. I'm a little past shoulder length now.

My wife is a hairdresser.The last few yrs i have her buzz my head every 5/6 weeks.Its so much neater and after you shower and wash it you dont have to even comb it.So easy.
When i was younger i had my hair much longer.Time has changed!!

I dont really like short hair. My hair is about shoulder length if I straighten it. I like to switch it up by wearing braids since I am refusing to put any dyes on my hair. One month I can have blonde 👱 streaks the next month I can have red if I want. But I never have my braids shorter than my own hair

Well short hair is certainly easier to take care of but I have had long hair my entire life so the one time I cut my hair short when I stopped coloring it, I was not happy with the way it looked on me at all. Presently my hair is below my butt so it is extremely long.

when i was younger i always had it down to my hips. now that i'm in my 40s i keep it just at my shoulders. it's much easier to keep up and manage

Going the winter i love my hair long but during the summer i like it short

I have up to the shoulders and try to keep it that length, my hair might look good on the shorter style, but I had the misfortune of having a mother that does not know how to do hair and she cut my hair boy style during my younger years, until I put an stop to it at age of 14, so I really dislike short hair, cannot even think about going short for me. My girls also love long hair theirs is mid-back and they are very happy with it

I use to keep my hair long for years. When i retired i had it cut short and quit coloring it. I did not know how grey headed I was till then. I went to work at walmart as a greeter a year after retireing. I have since let it grow out some. Got tired of short hair. HOpe everyone has a good day. :)

I am female and think my hair is prettier long, but it takes a lot of work, so shorter is easier!

Right now my hair comes down about half way my back. I have been trying to get it cut for 3 weeks, but because of the ice and snow have not been able to get out. I have an appointment next week. I want it cut to shoulder length.

I used to wear mine long, really long when I was a young adult but for the last 30+ years I've kept it right above my shoulders. I have very fine hair so can't make it do what I wish it would but just do the best I can with it. I've always said its a good thing I'm not vain because my hair won't cooperate lol

as a guy I like my hair short I would get it shorter but I have too many cowlicks

I would love to wear my hair long - but it is too fine and thin. So I wear it short. Short also takes less time to care for.

My hair is halfway down my back. As long as I can remember, I have always had long hair. :)

My hair is medium length right now, but I would like my hair to grow down my back. I used to have longer hair, although it was never down my back, but I cut it a long time ago. Now I want to grow it back.

My ideal length is part way down my back - around my shoulder blades, below the shoulder line. It's long enough to do nice stuff, but not too weighty.
Past several years, however, partly due to finances or bad timing, I missed getting my "annual" cut and ended up leaving my hair grow an extra year so it's down to my waist. The first time this happened, I decided to let it grow long enough so I could get it cut back to shoulder length (shoulder line) and donate the rest.
My hair is about at that level again - starting to accidentally sit on it (which is not fun) - so donation #3 coming up in a few more weeks. :)

I think I look better with long hair but it is so much work to get ready in the morning. I don't think that it would look good short though.

I wore a pixie for so many years when I was a little girl. I really hated it. As soon as I had a choice, I let it grow. I have never had a short hair cut since. NOw that I am 60, I wonder if it would look better short. But I just can't do it. BMaston12

it really just depends on the mood that i am in. the entire time growing up i never cut my hair by the time i was 16 it was past my butt and then one day i lopped it all of and had a very short razor cut. currently i have a mid length bob and am contemplating letting it grow.

both, but sometimes long hair starts to weigh me down, so i chop it off for the summer time.

I had dreadlocks for years so it doesn't matter anyway. I also have a dreadhawk right now trying to make it longer!

I've always had long hair. I get it trimmed, so that it doesn't go down to my waist, but never too short. I'd feel naked without long hair!

I have had my hair short for about 15 years. My age dictates that it should be short but it is still full and wavy so every so often I attempt to grow it out.....I can never get past mid length because at that point I always have to spend a lot of time to make it look good and then I decide it is too much trouble and off it comes.

I keep mine shorter so I have a chance at managing it. I hate doing my hair and would like to shave my head. I won't, but I would like to.

I prefer a medium length. Right now it's growing pretty long, about 3 or 4 inches down from my shoulders. I usually like it maybe 2 inches below the shoulders, so it's gonna be time for a cut soon!

Definitely short. To me, long is when it gets down to my chin. I've just never really liked long hair. I try to grow it out and have gotten past my shoulders, but I hate it. I much prefer to keep it short and fun.

my hair is up to my shoulders. I cut my hair last year when it was up to my waist short enough that I can't even put my hair up. it was I believe the length was my chin? now it's up to my shoulders and I cannot wait until it grows back to long. I didn't cut it because I was being stupid but because my hair was starting to look dead and damage so I wanted to cut it short to fix it. lol! maybe this time I can use rice water to take care of it even after it grows long.
