it does me just a small glass of tea will keep me up til one or two in the morning.
-
generally no ican still drink diet mountain dew and go to sleep
-
Sometimes caffeine keeps me awake but I don't drink coffee late in a day. It is only in the morning I have one or two cups of flavored coffee and ever though I drink only decaf most of the time.
-
Not at all.
I'm a big time coffee drinker, my body is used to the caffeine.
-
Sometimes if I drink my diet soft drinks close to bed time it keeps me awake.
-
No I love my coffee and my ddps and I drank enough to keep an army marching lol but I can still sleep
-
Shockingly I dont think it does.
-
It doesn't keep me from sleeping, In fact I'll a cup of cappuccino for a sugar rush.
-
I don't think Caffiene works for me since I don't drink coffee in the morning. But I still feel sleepy.
-
Not at all. I always drink a Coke before bedtime every night and I can easily fall asleep. Of course I go to bed pretty late and I'm tired so that helps me fall asleep fast.
-
It depends how much I consume. 2 cups of coffee will keep me up later and that's regardless of it being regular or decaf. If I can fall asleep before it takes affect like take a nap when I wake up I'm always more energized.
-
It does for me, which is why I don't take it at all after 6 pm.
-
Yes, drinking tea or coke make me awake all night .
-
Yes, caffeine keeps me up at night.
-
I guess it depends on how much I drink and how tired I am... For the most part I'm fine with drinking some pop or even some coffee shortly before going to bed, and I usually don't have any trouble falling asleep. However if I need to stay awake, then drinking a lot of coffee will make it more difficult to fall asleep; I did this more when I was in school and cramming for tests...
-
Never used o, but now since I have A-Fib and hyper thyroid along with graves disease I can no longer have anything with caffine in it. What a bummer. I love ice tea . It is a bummer because I can't even have hot chocolate. Although I will give in and have a small cup. I have made my own hot chocolate mix and have cut the chocolate down some by using Ovaltene instead of cocoa. also have more milk and rich dry cream ( French vanilla0 in it. Not quite the same but 2/3 the caffine.
-
Sometimes. But if I'm really tired caffeine won't work.
-
It really does. Especially the mountain dew and pepsi. If you want to stay well awake all night long, 2 litter will do the job. The only problem, It is not healthy especially the soda for your body and teeth. The Caffeine tends to ruin your entire system.
-
no not really, I don't sleep either way.
-
Yes if I drink caffeine in the later hours of the day it will keep me awake for hours. I normally drink water and occasionally will drink a soda or hot chocolate in the early hours of the day.
-
Yes it does, but that is what it is suppose to do, it is suppose to give you an energy boost so i avoid any thing with caffiene in it before i go to sleep.
-
To my knowledge caffeine never bothered my sleeping however I only drink one small cup of coffee in the morning now and no other caffeine through the day because I have an irregular heartbeat and I don't want to take any chances on making it worse. Some things I read said caffeine is a problem with that and some said it isnt but I just play it safe.
-
I used to be bad at this.Because i work 3pm-11pm i would stop and get coffee, drink coke or have tea.I love caffeine. But i think it was not too smart. It seemed to spoil falling out to sleep longer.I am not perfect, but i did cut it out a lot!!
-
no i dont think sooo..i drink alot of coffe!
-
YES!!! If I have caffeinated drinks after about 3 in the afternoon, I am often up until late at night. Of course, I have some sleeping issues anyway since I have aged and retired, but caffeine really doesn't help!
-
I'm weird, because caffeine really doesn't have an effect on me, but I drink it anyway because it's comforting. It doesn't help me stay awake, however it does help my mood.
-
No caffeine does not keep me from sleeping no affect to caffiene :(
-
if I have caffiene it has to be early in the morning anything past noon and i will only sleep about 2 -3 hours at night regardless pf the time I go to bed :rainbow: :rainbow: :rose: :peace:
-
Caffeine just stops a chemical in your brain from feeling tired... Every hour the amount of caffeine lowers and the feeling of being tired gets more prominent
-
Oh goodness no I drink my coffee and I also drink several ddps a day
-
If I drink caffeine late in the evening it will definitely keep me from sleeping. I limit the amount of caffeine intake and drink it early in the day if I drink any at all. :)
-
Generally, I need to stop drinking anything with caffeine around 1 or 2 in the afternoon or I may be up late. However, I have some trouble sleeping anyway at times and caffeine may make it worse.
-
I seem to be tired a good portion of the time and even with caffeine intake in the latter part of the day, I seem to still be able to generally sleep when I hit the bed. Of course, I don't do this enough to see if it will not affect me consistently.
-
unfortunately no...never has had that effect on me...doesnt affect me one way or the other....wish it gave me some energy...lol
-
it does me just a small glass of tea will keep me up til one or two in the morning.
No it does not keep me from sleeping. If Im tired, I'm out like a light.
-
it does me just a small glass of tea will keep me up til one or two in the morning.
Yeah caffeine will definitely keep me awake if I have it later than about 3:00 in the afternoon
-
Only if I have a lot of it. I can drink several cups a day and it doesn't affect my sleep, just helps get me through the day. But then again, I have a 4 yr old, 2 yr old and soon to be newborn. So, I need caffeine to survive. Lol
-
A little coffee is ok, but if I have more than a couple of cups late in the evening, then it interferes with my sleep.
-
It is more of a comfort for me. I can drink a cup and go directly to bed and really sleep hard.
-
I will try to drink a lot of coffee to stay awake.
-
Only when I abuse it which I rarely do
-
cafiene don't keep me sleeping it keeps me awake
-
not at all. if i don't get any caffeine i get migraines
-
No, caffiene does not keep me from sleeping. I can drink a glass of tea and go right to sleep.
-
Not really I usually drink a cup before I go to bed and feel fine.
-
Sometimes yes, sometimes no....it just depends on what type of day it has been.
-
nope i can drink it and go to bed! :star:
-
Sometime caffeine will make me swing from hypothyroidism to hyperthyroidism and then I have a problem with insomnia. Other times I can have a cup of coffee in the morning and still go back to bed.
I have Hashimoto's so my sleep is somewhat unpredictable.
-
It doesn't keep me from sleeping. In the past, I've had a large mug of coffee (or a Monster drink) trying to "energize" and have still managed to take a long nap soon after.....
-
I do not drink caffene
-
no caffeine does not keep me from sleeping
-
Sadly lately it just doesn't work for me anymore only been having about fives hours of sleep for the past two weeks and tried my best to stay awake and finish my stuff but caffeine just does not do the trike anymore even if it was plain black.
-
I think it all depends on whether you are used to it or not .... I can drink a cup of hot tea before bed and sleep just fine but if I have a cup of coffee or a soda .. I'm not sleeping.
-
I don't drink coffee at night. I always make a pot in the morning. It helps me get going. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless everyone and keep you safe. :)
-
No, it does not. If I am tired, I am able to sleep. Have a good day!
-
Not really... When I am really tired, I just sleep it off even with coffee.. One time I finished a cup of coffee at 5:30, found out that my 9 o'clock class was cancelled, then I went back to sleep
-
It doesn't have any effect on my sleep. My dad can't have any too late, though.
-
If caffeine does impact me, I am probably not drinking enough to affect me. When it's late and I'm idle, I get tired. I usually have problems as I got too much on my mind.
-
I drink coffee all day every day! It has never seemed to bother me!
-
I start to drink decaf after 4:00 pm. So I can sleep at night
-
It's depend. I can drink coffee at 5 pm and still fell asleep. But if I drink tea at 5, I cannot go sleep at all.
-
I've never noticed one way or another, myself. To quote Charlotte's Web, "when your stomach is empty and your mind is full, it's always hard to sleep." Caffeine on its own doesn't seem to have too much influence over that.
-
Its funny I often wondered the same thing, yes it does UGH
-
Yes, a cup of coffee will sadly keep me up at night. That's why I don't drink it for dinner or anytime after dinner either.
-
not so much I can usually sleep fine.
-
I have to stay away from caffeine at least 8 hours from bedtime. My sleep doctor says it can stay in your system up to 12.
