Title: Earning Extra Money
Post by: jstout1 on April 19, 2015, 05:16:11 pm
With the modern technology of the internet, one can make extra money by using the internet.  I've made extra money by writing for sites (paid for views, comments) I've also made extra money on sites that you do tasks (Microworkers) and then there are the sites that you get paid to read emails and do other things.  Recently I found this site.
I signed up for a site to read articles, of course they never paid! ;)  Do you make extra money using the internet and if so, what do you do?  Alwys looking for ways to make extra money.  (Since the first of the year 3-4 writing sites that I joined haven't paid, several it's taking forever to make money.)

I just stick with survey sites true you can't make alot of money but anything is good.I've tried amazonturk you just need an amazon account. The tasks are hard to get into.Anything you try i'd be careful many are bogus i'm sure.

In addition to those things you've mentioned, you could start an Internet based business. You could even do an Amazon/eBay business. The great thing is that it takes very little money (and in some cases no money) to start an online business. You just need to have ambition and motivation!

I stick with things that are guarantee and generally quick if I can help it. If I really need extra income, I will get a second income, but I wonder if getting a part time service job doing things remotely might be the way to go instead of the ways I currently make money online.

I earn an extra $1000+ per month selling on eBay.  I follow a training system that is easy.  Look me up!
Fusion Cash is the only PTC site I do because it is fun and easy and I have been a member of FC since 2009.  It is part of my daily routine...

I done alot of work on-line for a few years now.  I'm always looking for new things to try, while working my list of things that does.

It's easier to save money than it is to make more.  Having a budget & sticking to it is important.  Know how to identify NEEDS vs WANTS.  Coupons are like "tax-free income".   Re-purposing items you already have can save alot of money.  Shopping thrift stores & yard sales saves money but purchases should be for NEEDS and not just for the sake of shopping.

I spent years searching to find ways to make extra money, then discovered the tips for saving were just as important.  Thanks to all the saving tips I've implemented, I can now work way less hours than I used to and have more time to do things I enjoy.

I do not trust any other site except Fusion Cash. I have been paid ever since I got on here and try to make enough so I can cash out at least monthly but sometimes that doesn't always work. But I do get pay and that's the beauty of this work site.

I do a lot of survey sites.  I really like Fusion Cash.  I have found that if you get on in the morning you have a better chance of qualifying for surveys.  Many times my survey money has bailed me out when the end of the month draws near and I have no money elsewhere.

Another great way to make some money is Swagbucks. I earn about $50 a month in gift cards of my choice.  I usually get Amazon ones.  I have been able to order many things on Amazon with them.  Been a member for years.  First heard about it through a lawyer/blogger that spoke about it on the radio.  :present:

Fusion Cash is my main earning site. I belong to a few other GPT sites, like Swagbucks, Cash Crate and Gift Hulk, but I just don't have enough time to really work the sites and make money. I have two Etsy shops and a Zazzle store that take up most of my time. I also do a couple survey sites. And I use Bing for my search engine, so that I earn points just for searching the internet, which I do a lot of. I've cashed out quite a few times from Bing, and I'm almost ready to cash out again.

I have been in fusion cash for 3 years and have tried other sites but they're not as good as FC. And Earlier I've tried the mPoints and I already redeemed 3 times $25 amazon gift card.

Hello! :D :) I too work on a lot of different sites online. But fusion cash remains my number one site. Yes I write for other sites. As I'm a freelance writer. Yes you can make extra money right in the comfort of your own bed. The catch is you don't make that much. It takes patience in order for you to have a long lasting relationship. One thing to look out for is scam sites. There are a lot of scam sites. You have to becareful. Good luck in your earning money online ventures!

I do fusion cash and a couple of other sites. Mostly as extra money, not a way to earn a living. I do some yard sales and flea markets. That usually helps make some extra money also.

I have done pretty well with surveys, PTCs, and other sites -- also plenty of smartphone apps that earn out the wazoo! Fusion Cash is not my biggest earner overall, but in a few years it most likely will be if I am able to keep everything up and running.  These funds have come in handy in a pinch more times than I can recall!

@Crisstar - I have heard that so many times it just makes me want to scream.  Starting an internet business is not that easy.  If it is and I am missing something maybe you can fill me in??
I don't consider selling on ebay a business.  Besides the fact that I don't have anything to sell and they fee you to death.

It's not hard to start an online business. There are thousands of businesses to choose from (in the case of network marketing -  not for everyone) and/or different kind of business models to choose from.

Where most people get tripped up is not understanding business, Internet marketing, and lead generation. Failure is attributed to those three things I just mentioned.

If one is not willing to work on those three things, then they should not go into any kind of business - online or otherwise.

Selling on eBay is a business model. If you feel that the fees are too high, then sell your products elsewhere. eBay is not the only game in town.

The point here is to start somewhere. Some people spend hours and hours a day doing surveys. If that is what floats your boat - then go for it.

Other people find something that interest them (like a hobby) and find a way to make money at it.

Here's something I learned a long time ago...

You can make money or you can make excuses. But you can't do both. ;)

I do FC as well as Cash Crate and Amazon Mturk. I used to do PTC, but that was so time consuming with very little pay, plus I had to pay for my referrals which sucked!  >:(
Anyways, I home school as well, so I try to wake up early in the morning to have some computer time online to earn extra money. My husband works very long hours, so I try to supplement his income so we have a little spending money for entertainment or for shopping in the mall, which my son loves to do! I have been online for so long now, that I know of what websites are going to be legit and what websites are total scams!
Good Luck!  :clover:

I like and enjoy Fusion cash. I may not make much on it, but then I do not sit very long on the computer due to dome medical problems and when hubby is home he is on it quit a bit. Besides I am usually on it  only in the after noons  when my energy goes to flagging. Once  winter time gets here and there is no more canning or such to do  hopefully get on it more.

I will do that.  I have had surveys on here that ask for a cell number and I put it in and then it says it sent a message but I never receive anything.  I don't know what the issue is.  My phone is full but if I can make money with an app maybe I can find something else I can delete. : D

Can you explain what you mean by you had to pay for your referrals?  That doesn't make sense.  Why would you or anyone ever do a referral if you had to pay for them?  Usually you get paid for referrals.  : )   In my experience my referrals have pretty much proved to be worthless.  grrrr.

I think it's safe to mention these as Fusion Cash does not offer these options so it's not really competition. So slicethepie pays you to listen to music and review it. The more detailed the higher your ranking and higher earning potential. That said it is still just an extra money site not sustainable income.

There are a lot of Paid To Click websites that rent you referrals to click for you. Some people swear by these programs, but I think the only ones making real money are the owners. The most popular one is Neobux.

I don't know why you would do that.  This site and another site or two I am a member of you get a percentage of what your referral earns.  None of their money but if they earn $1 then they get $1 and you get 10 cents if it is 10%.  I have seen programs where they want you to pay them and they guarantee to get you referrals.  But if your referrals are not active then you aren't making any money.

Through a long process of elimination, I have found about 10 sites that will actually pay and are not to complicated to use.  They are all survey and task sites.  Most are like FusionCash.  I don't make a great deal of money (certainly not on a cents per hour basis) but I do them while I am watching tv or not doing anything in the evening.  If I keep up with all ten sites I can earn a extra hundred a month.  When your job pays minimum wage, that it actually a help to the old budget and I figure it pays for my tv and internet service.

Great Idea! It snowballs quite nicely if you work at it.

And I think oldbuddy hits the nail squarely on the head.  It doesn't just fall into your lap.  It takes time and effort to get the snowball started and to maintain its downhill roll.  You have to keep working at it, though, to keep the earnings coming in.

Some people are tricked into thinking that they can click a few mouse buttons and instantly have a five or six figure bank account right away.  Most of the sites that make that *promise* never get a second look from me, but the ones that look like a slow and sure steady income are what I am interested in.

I've done PTC sites for over five years and had seen FusionCash advertised a number of times in the past, but didn't look at it closely enough until two months ago when I saw it being plugged by another individual who I knew to have a solid reputation in the online money making realm.  I wish I had looked into it sooner, but am thankful I jumped on board in 2015 rather than 2020!

I have only made my extra money online by being on sites like this one. As a former English major I would have loved to "write for money" but I don't think jobs like that really exist. I'll stick with the GPTs.
