So I have never been able to watch any of the Macys Spring Videos and/or the DSW Videos, they ask for age and gender and no matter what I put it never lets me watch them tells me that it is restricted to age/gender LOL what age you have to be to watch a Macy's Video. The Rimmel London also do the same thing if you say you are older than the 20s. Seriously Older women do not add mascara their eyalshes? LOL some of these videos are just ridiculous with their restrictions. It is funny but frustrating >:( ::) ???

I have been clicking on them anyway hoping to get thru. I should be able to get Macy's (my hometown). Sometimes they clear and play/pay. It could be a number of days between thing.

I agree with you, and some times it makes me feel like the rest of us over a certain age just don't count anymore. Maybe it's because we've been around a lot longer and we aren't so "swayed" by certain advertising like the younger crowd is. They'll suck up to anything, LOL, and that's exactly what advertisers want.

Yup these videos are annoying. they need to be fixed somehow. We need more vidoes in vid section

Yeah, it does get frustrating sometimes. I usually get mad and just give up if I can't get through. If they don't want me to watch, then I don't want to see it lol :) I just do something else to get my pennies and I don't take a second look at whatever they were trying to sell when I see it in the store. It's childish, but makes me feel better lol.

I have a lot of videos on my page but I am unable to watch the majority because of the age / gender restrictions. Obviously, the advertiser is appealing to a specific population but it should be taken into consideration that most viewers have children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and others.
Since these videos remain on my page, I am hoping that one day they might be available for me. I am curious to see what is being offered.

I don't like these videos either.

Try clearing your cookies and then resubmit your info. I think something happens where if you don't qualify for one, it blocks you from them all even though you may be eligible.
I'm not in my 20s and able to watch the Rimmel London video

I clicked on a Macy's' video and could not watch it because of age/gender......what is that about. I shop at Macy's all the time

Like the surveys, I am sure that the sponsors are looking for certain demographics but to those of us who do not
fit,it is a little annoying.

I don't even try them anymore as I know I will not be allowed to watch them being way too old.

These age restrictions on all these Videos do not really make sense. I was trying them last night, then i just X them off my page.

Thats the first time I heard of an age restriction on videos. The videos must be rated triple XXX.

Sometimes when that happens that means it is no longer available. Don't quote me on that. I think they have closed or have reached its maximum amount of viewers. That's my take on those age restriction videos.

That there is a good question. The last couple times I tried that one, it didn't even ask me it just went right to age restriction. ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

The last few times I got that message I tried it in the other browser and it worked with no issue. So if it was a problem in Firefox I tried IE and if I then come across one using IE that gives me the message I try Firefox. At this point I know the ones I should be able to watch without restriction so that got me investigating especially when I had gotten that message a couple of days in a row.

I am sure some "erotica ' video would appeal to all ages..hmmm pornhub should trying to suck in, instead of placing their adds on the super bowl, spending tons of money and then being banned......... :D

They aren't pornographic if they are age restricted. They are just looking for a certain demographic to watch that video.

One more suggestion be sure to clean your browser (cookies etc).

It is really confusing, some days it lets me watch certain videos and then the next day it doesn't. Today it let me watch one it wouldn't let me watch yesterday.

I have recently had videos that come up with AGE/SEX restriced.....but there has been NO place for me to even enter my age or sex......I guess the computer knows my age and sex.
I just X these and get them off of my video list.

something must be wrong with your computer if it does that. I do not watch videos that often, but I do not recall seeing a video that required me to tell them how old I was.

It never occurred to me to use that big red "X" to the right of the video. I usually have several videos that don't work for me, and I don't always remember which work and which don't, so I have to repeat my attempts. "X-ing" them out would be a solution. However, I have read threads in the past where people have reported that some videos that were previously not available, suddenly became available. In that case, it might be worthwhile to keep trying over and over again. It's a dilemma!

I'm glad to be DQ'd from DSW since I love a lot of their shoes but can no longer wear them with my knee. I wish I would have kept my platforms and wedges from the 70s. I had a pair to match every outfit. I felt very tall when wearing them. :)

all but one said age restriction today. and even after I watched one fully that did not credit it was still on there and then it said age restriction. its just a way to get us to click for spies to come into our emails and stuff for free to them.

I keep running into a lot of videos tht are age restricted. I'm not happy about because they continue to show up so when I think things have changed I click on them and get the same restiction :heart:

I got restricted on the Air New Zealand video today.I have been watching this video every day,but for some reason today they decided that I was the wrong age,gender,or both.

I have had a fairly long list of videos...for several days now. However, the only one I can complete is HyprMax. How can I be restricted from such videos as DSW, milk, Clairol, New Zealand, and on and on. Crazy! And how come I have watched these videos on other sites on more than a single occasion? Crazier! I can't help but wonder how much it has to do with the companies, such as Matomy, and how much to do with Fusion (especially since I have watched on other sites, once a day for several weeks).
Fusion, you need to take a look at what other sites do...other sites such as Swag, MyPoints, etc. There doesn't seem to be such a problem with the videos. I don't know what you ARE or are NOT doing, but as far as the videos are concerned, it isn't working!!!!!

I had to do it in the middle of watching the matomy videos today, as I suddenly got the age restriction message and then every one that was left gave me the message, I cleaned the cookies etc and entered age/sex as applicable (where it didn't ask before) and ran and credited no problem. I have had to do it in both firefox and IE

Thanks for the reminder. This helped with about half the videos; the remainder, no. I offer a partial apology to Fusion, but only partial because I still think you can do a lot better on your video department. It is VERY inconsistent, with only HyperMax being reliable.

Some days most work. Other days it seems most everything is restricted or not available in my area.

The whole hypermx/great content design of the 10 steps is totally worthless for an advertiser. If they want "participation" that is not getting it. On another site some of the videos contain lil quizzes, some of which are so cute or funny I continue past where I have been credited, and makes an impression about the product. I cannot say what those hyprmx clicks are about.

The only videos that I can complete lately are HpyrMX and the 1/2 cents. Not good.

Yes, it is discouraging. Older people are consumers, take surveys, have families and a life. Plus the ads may even be something we look at for infor for a friend or family member.
I would like to see that change also.

I was unfortunate enough to click on one of these age restriction videos and I put my information in and was not allowed to see the video. I guess I was to old.

Those age based surveys is a pain in the you know what....I just giveup on them....

Some of those videos are restricted by age but they sometimes say that because there are no videos at that time to actually get so there not all restricted by age exactly sometimes there just no vids at that time

These are frustrating. Especially since half of the time when I watch these they are okay the first time and then they say that message periodically afterwards.

Videos are very some timey. Most of it all is a matter of chance. One day they credit the next minute they don't

I've been getting the age restriction message as soon as I click on the video, bummer.
