Title: do you prefer the heat or the cold

Post by: 12amos on April 24, 2015, 09:25:34 pm: I use to prefer the heat when I was younger. Now that I'm older and have to deal with hot flashes I prefer the temperature cooler not too cold but comfortable. :)

1.) A lot less people are outside. Summer is traffic jam central
2.) Able to sleep better. Easier to sleep under a warm blanket than in a humid hot weather
3.) Less Bugs

However, when the temp and/or humidity rises, I am very uncomfortable. If the temp never rose above 70 degrees or dropped below about 45 degrees, I'd be happy!!! PERFECT! I can hardly stand winter and snow anymore...UGH!!!!!!!!!

Post by: davidh121 on April 26, 2015, 05:28:33 pm: I have lived my life mostly in colder weather, so I'm use to it. When I go to much warmer climates, I seem to not be as happy. Some other family members including my partner tend to want warmer weather, so if necessary, I will go with the flow.
