After doing something.... Did u ever felt you did STUPiD?? I will do something and feel why did I do stulid like this.

Yes. I over think a lot too. Like for example at work today everything just kept going wrong. I am a server and deal with customers all day and b/c of everything going wrong I felt so embarrassed and a little dumb. I was feeling like these people must think what is wrong with this girl. Ugh.

Yeah I been there but the worst part about doing something is when you keep making the same stupid mistake.

It happens more than I would like. But sometimes it's a good teacher when going through such choices in life. I figure in adulthood I would learn to avoid these more often, but some things just happen due to circumstances.

As long as you use these actions and behaviors as learning moments, no problem. Think about what you did, why you did it, and what triggered it. Then think about whether you should have done nothing or what an alternative behavior might have been.

It's something that happens to everyone now & then. Consider it a "lesson learned" and keep going, it's not worth wasting time or energy beating oneself up about it. :)

Yes, many times over! I just try to not repeat the same stupid thing again!

Yes. I felt that way when I got a speeding ticket. All I had to do was SLOW DOWN. But no, I had to be stupid. Not only did I have to spend over $125 to make it go away. I had to take defensive driving and get a copy of my driving record. It has all been handled now, but what a price to pay for being STUPID. BMaston12

I forced my foot into sandals that were too small even though they were my size.
Now, I have had pain for a little over a week.
It makes me think of the Japanese women who wear those tiny sandals to force their feet to stay small.

everyone has momentary lapses in brain power I think. its just best to laugh at yourself and move on without stressing over it

Yes, I have done several stupid things, but I also have said stupid things (don't know which is worse).

I do many stupid things on a daily basis. It's so embarrassing.

I think main cause is bcoz of over thinking.... If I stop over thinking just move on with the life no one has tjat time to thimk abt u...

Not really. I am far from perfect but very in tune with my self esteem and self confidence. I tend to really over think things over and come in prepared. If I fail I am able to justify my actions by relaying the thought process that went into it. People have called me the consummate professional because I generally have three courses of action to take in case my initial plan fails. If I am talking to a crowd I have generally run every possible question, that might be asked, through my head. Fifteen years ago my wife and I went to see a marriage counselor. I took two hours to discover everything about the counselor that I could. I then took four hours to come up with every possible question that the counselor might have for me. I prepared the questions and answers in triplicate, presented them at the counseling session and was save time and money in the long run...as well as my marriage.

Well, we learned from any mistake we did. Don't be afraid to do anything stupid.

One day in fourth grade, someone took the tissue box and ripped out all of the tissues. That day, our teacher said the person who did it needed to present himself and clean it up. I thought she just wanted someone to clean it, so I got up and went over. She said, "So you did it?" and I responded negative so she told me to sit down. Awkward feeling. The next three weeks she would not let our class have recess because nobody gave in. The end.

but not happy for all the stupid actions we have done... I have a friend who acts reall slow... i think i should talk, act like her....
Slow down in your Action/ Reaction... so at least I can save 1 time a day thinking myself STUPID

Yes I have. I usually try to laugh it off, I mean it is already done. Hopefully I will learn something from it. Or at least a good story! LOL

I had to really need to rework and rethink and try not to repeat it but i do repeat these again :-(

Oh yes. I still to this day find myself reminiscing over things that happened years ago and get embarrassed all over again. I over analyze things too. Way too much. One thing I wish I could change.

we are all only human so of course even with the best intentions we do something stupid.

Been there and done that, I think we at one time or another do pull stupid things. No one is perfect.

When I do something stupid it's usually seems to because I am thinking about doing something else in the next half hour or so and not focusing on the task at hand.

Sure. I had plenty of my share of "stupid" moments in my life and sometimes I still do this. But I do seem to be more accepting it and try to not let it get to me compared to letting it ruin my whole day when I was younger.

In my life time, I have done some stupid things. I am human, not perfect. Will probably do more stupid things but it will not be as severe. I learn from them to avoid them.

At 61 years of age yes yes and yes I can say I have done many many stupid things. The thing is I struggle with feeling bad about some of those things and that is really counter productive to life - better to make amends or do whatever you can do and move on. I have pretty much tormented myself after my husband died about everything I ever did or said wrong while I was married. And what good is that going to do? Ruin the rest of my life so I am doing my best to just move on and try to be a good person.

Even this happened yesterday i finishes talking after done from last night till now i feel like why did i say like that....
It is soo STUPID that i said. and it bothers me so much... i dont know how to remove that off my mind. :-(

oh yes I do a LOT of stupid things lol but I think that is just part of being human. I think I try so hard not to do stupid stuff that I do even more. :sad1:

Yes, I felt that way many many times. I did something stupid on Ebay the other day but it did work out. ::)

Good Lord, yes. I do lots of stupid things. Then I get mad at myself and call myself names. >:(
Later on I realize that EVERYONE makes mistakes and does stupid things. Then I can forgive myself and forgive others too. :notworthy:
It's called life and life is sprinkled through with stupid, not so stupid, and very stupid things, don't you think? :peace:

Saying things or doing things I should have done differently. I feel stupid for a day or if worst a week, but then I dont think to much about it

Mistakes happen, mostly because of rush decisions accompanied by actions that are not properly thought through.
Nevertheless we all make them, best decision after all the name calling is over is to access the situation and therefore learn from our mistakes.
