I think I like Michael's best, as I seem to find better deals there.
-
I prefer Hobby Lobby. I never seem to find what I am looking for at Micheal's.
-
We only have Michael's and JoAnne's here.
-
I love Hobby Lobby. I wish they were open on Sunday.
-
I guess Michael's, since I have never been in a Hobby Lobby, but willing to try if I can locate one in my area.
-
I don't know it has been a long time since I have been to either.
-
I like both stores but I definitely prefer Michael's. From my experiences they have always been more organized and usually always have what I am looking for.

Hobby Lobby. Both are expensive. The last time I went in a Michael's they did not have anything I wanted to buy and it was too expensive for what it was. The closest one to me was an hour or more away and I am pretty sure it closed so I don't guess I have a choice in where I go now. lol

I like both. Sometimes there are items you would find items in one that the other doesn't have. Comparison shopping is great.

I tend to go to either hobby Lobby or JoAnn's just because they are very close to my house whereas Michael's is at the very opposite end of town. And I can usually find what I want at either of the others. Hobby Lobby tends to be the cheapest, but that also includes their products; a friend of mine had to return some baking material from HL because it wasn't good when she brought it home, and instead had to buy a complimentary item by Wilton that was sold at JoAnn's. Also HL doesn't have barcoded price tags meaning that the cashier has to not only type in the cost of every item, but also take off anything if that item was on sale making the checkout process a lot slower and more prone to errors (esp. in forgetting to take off a discount).

Hobby Lobby

I don't have a Hobby Lobby near me. Just Michaels.
-
I haven't been in a Michaels in years and I sure do like Hobby Lobby. When our youngest daughter got married we bought a whole bunch of stuff at Hobby Lobby for the wedding and if we bought it on the right weekend, the price was amazing.

Michaels has always been pretty good and had what I wanted. A new Hobby Lobby just opened not far from me. I may just check it out to see what they have.
-
Everyone is right about both being expensive.
-
I like both of them. One is 80 miles away and the other 160. So I only get to go if we have to be at one of the other cities. So it is always fun to go into either one and shop some. Yeah both are costly. But when that is all there is you have to do what you have to do.

I like both, for different reasons. Michael's has good coupons and 16 x 20 pre-cut mats, but Hobby Lobby seems more affordable for most of what I get. :D

I honestly prefer Michael's store. The reason being is that Michael's has a lot more option on arts and crafts and other bakery products then Hobby Lobby and I have been to both. I wasn't much impressed with hobby Lobby. Although they do have some good products just not very much selection or veriaty of things. I shop at Michaels quite often for yarn because they send me coupons on that and I love their yarn.
